Services
Waconia Veterinary Clinic is an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital. Pets are our passion and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority. Here, we strive to deliver excellent care for all animals. We are proud of our caring staff, who are devoted to their patients.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled procedures, we operate on an appointment basis. Appointments may be made through our online portal or by calling 952-442-2119. Emergencies happen, and when they do, they are given top priority, so occasionally there may be a delay. We make every attempt to see each client at their scheduled time.
Our Practice Manager, Kathy has been part of the Waconia Veterinary team since 1980. She enjoys working with a dedicated staff that truly cares about the well-being of all animals. Kit, her cat, is part of the family along with two grand-dogs (Winnie and Raven). In her free time, she enjoys working on projects that come with living on a sixth-generation family farm, time at the lake, or a relaxing campfire with friends.
Angie joined our customer service representative team in 2019. She loves spending time with her husband and two sons playing games, going for walks, camping and enjoying the outdoors. Her family includes two dogs named Buddy and Tugger. She loves to cook and bake, making cakes and cupcakes for family and friends.

Waconia Vet Clinic has been lifechanging for our pets! We were going to a Vet where they just didn't have the knowledge and/or time to help us with some issues our dog was having and finding Waconia Vet Clinic was wonderful! We see Dr. Mandy when we can, and she is wonderful! We've seen Dr. Kilty as well and she is great too. The staff is all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We are so happy to have found them!

My dog was not doing good. He was pale gummed and not eating. I went to the emergency vet and they told me it was going to be about a 7 to 8 hour wait. possibly longer since my dog was technically stable.* I understand the stress the e vet can be under. I didn't want to leave him there overnight and said I would call my vet- waconia in the morning.
The next morning- I called Waconia vet and explained Finns symptoms. I was told to bring Finn right in. They got him right through triage and we had scans and blood work back with in 20 minutes. I am happy to say it has been a week since I was worried I was going to lose my dog and after some antibiotics and steroids he is making a great recovery. I want to say thank to everyone involved in Finns care.

You can tell all the staff love animals! Was greeted by friendly staff and they treated my elderly cat with respect and utmost kindness. The vet took time to explain the examination and what she was doing, and gave options for treatment with understanding that price may be a factor in care. Very caring and open for both pet and owner.

Waconia Vet Clinic has been a great place for both my cat and dog. They are always friendly and show how much they love your animals. They make sure both you and your pet are comfortable throughout the whole appointment, which is great because my dog is often scared of surfaces he is not used to. If you are looking for a great place to care for your pet, Waconia Clinic is the best!

Our Vet is in Hutchinson but recently went to Waconia Vet to put our Cat down, the drive to Hutch would have been to long for him and we live in Waconia. The compassion and kindness our cat and we received was amazing and very much appreciated! If we wouldn't already have an amazing Vet with an established relationship, we would definitely switch to Waconia. Very kind, calm and cmpassionate!

For the last 5 years we have been very pleased with the annual checkups for our furry little girl, Bella. But when our mischievous little girl managed to get a hold of some people food and ate too much of it, the next morning we could tell she must have a bad belly ache. When we called the clinic and they got her in within 2 hours. The tech and Dr Sutich jumped into action by giving her some medication and hydrating by IV.
By the time we were leaving, Bella was perking up and acting near normal after we got home. Our thanks for the kind care they provided. We have the utmost respect for the staff in this fine clinic.

We recently had to find a new veterinarian clinic and when we found Waconia Veterinary we were so grateful for their amazing and professional staff! We didn't get the 'run-around' or trying to up-sell us on treatment options, we had honest feedback! I would definitely recommend this practice and am so glad we can take our 'fur-baby' here for care!

I cannot say enough good things about Waconia Vet Clinic, every single person working there from the front desk, to the assistants and and of course the vets are top notch and truly care about the pets they serve. I personally use Dr. Mandy Harmms, I appreciate how thorough she is and the time she takes with us at every visit. I don't think I could find better care for our important furry family members.

Excellent customer service! I've had the pleasure meeting and getting to know most of the staff the past 5+ years and everyone has been extremely professional, helpful and friendly. All of the doctors are wonderful- knowledgeable, informative, caring and considerate. Everyone goes the extra mile without hesitation showing they care about the customers and their pets.
The complete opposite of what I experienced at a previous vet clinic. Their prices are a lot more affordable and no hidden costs.
