With over two decades of service our experienced and dedicated team members have worked together to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. Jody has always loved the company of pets. While growing up in Minnetonka, her family had a variety of pets - dogs, cats, fish, turtles a horse and even a pet duck.
Our experienced staff members have been walking dogs since we started in 1999 and we enjoy every minute we spend with your dog(s), whether it's a stroll or a brisk walk through your neighborhood. Our goal is to give your dog(s) some exercise, allow them to relieve themselves and provide some mental stimulation.
Her goal was to provide premium pet care services for the Lake Minnetonka area. With over a decade of service our experienced and dedicated team members have worked together to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. We serve the Minnesota cities of Deephaven, Excelsior, Long Lake, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Mound, Navarre, Orono, Saint Boni, Shorewood, Spring Park, Tonka Bay and Wayzata, as well as portions of Chanhassen, Chaska, Eden Prairie, Maple Plain, Minnetonka, Victoria, Waconia and Watertown.
A professional pet sitter provides for your pets needs when you can't be there. The needs may be as simple as a noon day walk while you are at work, or as comprehensive as total care for your pets and your home while you are out of town. Because the pet sitter works in your home, your animals are able to remain in their environment with as little disruption to their routine.

We love Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters! They check on our puppy a few times per week, and have been doing so for months. The midday walk helps her get through the day without any accidents, and without tearing up the furniture. We have two different walkers, and they are consistent and dependable. They leave us great notes and messages about how our pup behaved, so we know exactly what happened.
It is very obvious they love and care for my dog, the way they would treat their own. Jody, the owner, even came and sat and cuddled with our dog for 45 minutes to help us after our puppy was fixed. That meant the world to us, because we had a couple hours of time my husband and I couldn't be home. I would recommend using their services if you are in need of a dog walker!

I am updating my original review to add how delighted I have been with their daily dog walking services. I lost my 11-1/2 year old yorkie suddenly on April 14, 2019. Not only was Randi as heart-broken as Scarlett my other yorkie and I but she was essential in helping us get through those first horrible days of our grief. She has a connection with animals that always amazed me and that spirituality was so comforting.
She also went out of her way for weeks to walk Scarlett twice a day so she was alone for a shorter time. So today on 10/17/2019, I again HIGHLY recommend them! The following is my original review from 2 years ago: I am very pleased with Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters and the services they provide. Their love of animals is reflected in the top-notch services but I really appreciate their honesty, attention to details, and communications. I highly recommend them!

We are the luckiest people in the world for finding Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters. Jody, the owner, came to our home daily over Christmas for our two kitties, fed and played with them, cleaned litter boxes daily and cleaned up glass from a candleholder that hit the floor, brought a fun couple interactive toys that helped entertain, and sent pictures and emails to us.
This was a terribly difficult job because our home is under renovation and we needed to keep out kitties in an area behind a plastic, zippered curtain. As long as Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters has availability, we will never board again. 5 stars isn't enough. P.S. licensed and insured. This is a real business.

We have had the best service offered to our dog 'Buddy'! Very reliable, friendly and helpful to last minute accommodations. The daily notes Jenny leaves are so sweet and descriptive so we know that Buddy is taken well care of! They go above and beyond just watching our pet they treat him like their own! My neighbors have even commented how friendly Jenny is when walking Buddy! we would highly recommend this company! The Sabow's

We have been using Lake MinneTonka Pet Sitters for some 3-4 years, at least. If we were not totally comfortable with them, we certainly wouldn't still be hiring them. We have 2 cats. The same sitter has come to our house from the beginning, so the cats know her and trust her. We can leave the cats at home, knowing that they will be well taken care of. And leaving them at home is much less stressful on them than a kennel would be, not to mention much less expensive for us.

I have relied on Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters for fifteen years and have only positive experiences to recount. My travel is often on short-notice and highly changeable. They have come through for me consistently and always show the utmost concern for my pets. The bonus is in not having to stop mail or newspaper delivery, my house always looking occupied and the plants getting better care than they do from me;-o
