Heilmeier's Bed & Biscuit

We boarded our dog here while we stayed at the beach for New Year's. Their prices are very reasonable. The staff were very nice and accomodating. They let us come to the back to see where our dog would be staying, and even pick out her "suite." We also had her bathed while she stayed with them. When we picked her up everyone at the front desk knew her by name, and was very complimentary of her behaviour. I could tell they were attentive to the animals that board there. We will definitely be using them for our future boarding needs.

The best place ever to have for taking care of your fur babies. Great staff from the front desk to behind the scenes. Dr. Casey has been so helpful and compassionate with my babies. I can't thank them enough. I appreciate them so much. Thank you Dr. Heilmeier and Dr. Casey along with the great staff.

It is very sad all of the destruction that has occurred around the Baldwin County area however, the quality of care shown to our pups boarded with Heilmeier Bed n' Biscuit was far from what we expected. First, upon check in they informed us that no one is there to take pets out between 5pm and 8am. That was disappointing as our guys are used to a pre-bedtime let out. Then, upon check out, the facility smelled strong of dog excrement. Also, our pups were filthy (although we checked them out early due to Hurricane Delta) they were only there 5 days. Then, when I bathed them that afternoon, one pup had small pebbles in one of his paws stuck between his pads and the other had poop caked in his paws. Their doggie bed we left also stunk of dog poop and was filthy. I do NOT recommend this kennel and won't be using them in the future.

Enjoyed the tour and boarding prices are very fair. Along with the vet services as well.

I was in town for a quick 2 day trip and needed to leave my Bouvier in doggie daycare for a few hours. They were up the road from where we were staying and had room for him. Everything went as planned and they were super nice. I would definitely use them again! Bonus. They take this Covid thing seriously which I can't say the same for some other businesses in Gulf Shores!

First time using Heilmeier's and we were more than impressed. Staff went over and above to make sure our baby was taken care off. Accommodations may appear to be less posh than the online pictures but rest assured the team at this place take great care of your family member. One huge plus for our 12 year old was the vet office on site. If there's a problem they have everything needed to take care of your pet. Great place, highly recommended. Well done everyone!

Boarded our dog and kitten while in OB for a vacation. Friendly staff. Animals in great shape when we picked them up. Always a little nervous when trying a new place.

My puppy stayed here while I worked in the area, the facility is clean and the staff was helpful and courteous.

Everyone is so friendly and it is more than just a job for them. We all like to feel like we are around family with our pets and through good times and bad these guys are great.
