Coastal Pet Resort

I didn't realize dogs aren't allowed on gulf shore beaches and needed doggy daycare for my dog. I called and was able to drop him off 15 minutes later. I needed three days of daycare and they were able to accommodate. The facility is very clean and professional. I picked my dog up everyday around 3-4pm and he was worn out and well taken care of. I would 100% use them again for daycare if I am ever back in the area.

We dropped off our very clingy husky twice while we stayed in Foley; once for daycare and one overnight stay. Fantastic service, puppy was well taken care of and the prices just cannot be beat. Will use again the next time we visit family in the area.

The owner and the facility is fantastic. But they have a groomer there that has a lot to be desired. Very bad attitude and thinks she is the only one who knows how to groom dogs. Will not let her touch our dogs again.

I would have been here by 5pm to drop off my dog, but 65 South had other intentions. Matt, the one I had talked with to make reservations, offered to stay until I arrived. They usually close at 6, and I arrived at 6:50. I appreciated the excellent customer service and the care of my dog!

In Alabama for a couple days. Dogs spent the day while we were at the beach. They both had a pedicure. Dogs were tuckered out. Highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and the fees were very reasonable.

Boarded our two labs. Had a health issue and they took very good care of her through the process. They called me quickly and fed me updates and made sure the vet took good care of her. Very impressed for the last two visits. If you are new to area or visiting you can rest assured these guys run a solid resort. Seem to care.

Not sure what they did but our dogs were there for 4 days, every since they came back they have been reverse sneezing (sharp breaths inward). After researching the only thing I can think of is that they were most likely yanking and dragging my dogs around on their leashes. The only other thing would be overfeeding which when I asked if they wanted a feeding schedule the guy said oh no we just fill the bowl and I said no that's not gonna happen.

The dog has a great vacation and groomed also. Outstanding boarding areas, nicer than most I have used.

This is such a nice place to board your dog. We've been taking Luke there for year's. He just loves going there. Ron the owner (think he's a retired vetinarian) and all of the staff are very friendly. Great place. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

I have been taking my dogs here for almost 10 yrs. These people really like animals, and I know that because my babies always have to go back and get one last loving from the staff before they leave. Their prices are more than reasonable. Will always take my pups there when I have to board them.

They kept 3 large dogs for us and did a wonderful job. Caring and helpful with last minute and long term boarding

Great, friendly staff took great care of our boy while we were in Gulf Shores. They were happy to let us visit with and walk him each day. Very happy with their service. Walker will visit this Resort again.

The owner and staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. They helped us out tremendously while we were on vacation and we're extremely affordable, too. I can't say enough good things about how much they helped save our beach plans.

If I could leave 0 stars I would totally would. Do your research before leaving any pet in their care. Lost my brother's cat and has absolutely not done anything to help find their animal. Was left with a box of wet food due to their pet having dietary restrictions and was shown pictures of the food untouched. Owner is very arrogant and shady. Check the Facebook page as well more negative reviews as well

Very personable, respectful and friendly family. Facility was clean and well suited for all tenants. My animals were treated with care par to my own. 10/10 recommend Coastal Pet Resort. This will be my new permanent business for pet boarding.

This place was great. Staff was friendly. It was a bit more expensive than our usual boarder but overall it was great. Charlie had his own little bed and a sofa chair as well as a TV to keep him comfortable. It was such a cute set up.

We chose this facility from two choices that are local. My 6 year old Pomeranian has thick, long hair. Or shall I say HAD thick long hair. She gets very overheated so we needed to get her hair clipped as warmer weather is coming. The very first picture is how we got her back from the last groomer. Noting she still has a Pomeranian look. The rest of the photos are how we got her back today.

It's not about the length, but the cut. Her ears are huge and usually hidden in her mane that is now brushed off the floor. It will grow back. Her chest was clipped close with ONE SWIPE. The back of her neck looks like they put a bowl on her head and zipped with the straight part of the razor. This cost $40 without a tip that we typically give. I will never return to this facility.

Dog groomers are not dog clippers. They should know the breeds and how they look naturally before they CLIP all the hair, parts closer, parts longer, away to the wastebasket. It should flow smoothly, not seeing skin and missed areas. Frustrated
