We are a small animal veterinary practice located in Walcott, Iowa just minutes outside of the Quad-Cities. We provide quality medical care for the canine and feline members of your family. Our clinic was founded in 2001 by Dr. James Berger D.V.M. We provide services for internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, grooming, and preventive health. Here you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff members and they will assist you however they can whether that be checking in your pet for their appointment, purchasing a product, or providing you with answers to your questions regarding your pet's health.

Walcott Family Pet Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Very polite, really enjoy have a 1 on 1 personal experience with Dr. Berger. I went in without my pet a couple months ago to pick up flea and tick meds and he walked out of the back and knew exactly who I was and asked how my dog was doing. We just recently had an emergency and Dr. Berger and his staff were great. Highly recommend going here if you want a personal experience and know your furry friend will be taken care of.

Doc Berger is excellent! The nursing staff is over the top! You get what you pay for and their are cheaper vets out there but the doc never stops thinking about your pet. It some time with our little pug but he kept thinking and came to a diagnosis that I think few vets could've caught. We had to go to Ames, Is. for her serjury and made a full recovery. Short story. BEST VET OFFICE IN THE QCA! 6 Stars
