I was in need to get our pet in to see a Dr. and my vet and no others were in where I usually go and they directed me to Abel Keppy. They were understanding about my situation and worked me in. Very welcoming staff. Dr was very thorough. Our dog is a diabetic. They were able to give him some medicine to help with his dizziness. Thanks for your assistance in getting our pal into see you.

At every visit, everyone at Abel Keppy Aimal Hospital have been very friendly and caring to me and my dog Maple. I love how they explain everything to me so I can understand what is happening to Maple and what I need to do to take care of her. They are always gentle with Maple and never rush her when she scared and sometimes difficult to handle.

Do not use this vet if your pet needs prescription medication. My dog requires insulin, they will no longer fax or call in prescriptions to ANY pharmacy. Causing me the have to get a physical script. Not a single pharmacy in town will fill it unless you're a client there. Forcing me to switch vets to get something that should be incredibly simple.

I brought my cat for the first time. I had the option of curbside or coming in with my cat. I decided I wanted to come in. All of the staff was very kind. Dr. Burma answered all of my questions, gave me options and explained everything. My kitty was very well taken care of and I would highly recommend them!

Receptionist is very rude. Called a day prior to our dogs prescription ran out to get a refill. The receptionist argued that it had refills when it actually didn't. After going back and forth with pharmacy and vet a few times, the receptionist said it'll get called in Monday. Business is closed all week. I called able keppy's sister vet and they basically stated Able keppy dropped the ball and we are shit out of luck for a week. Doctors are great, receptionist not so much

As a first time visit this place was great and treated my cat and me like we had been coming to them for years. My cat (and me!) are feeling so much better. Thanks to Rebecca, Dr Burma, and all the great vet techs for getting us in & for the care you showed while helping my Dimitri. Very thorough, too. It is much appreciated! P.S. Would you like to meet my two other cats?

Rude staff. Rude receptionist. I work in healthcare. I never leave bad reviews, but when it comes to treatment of my child, my dog, I feel I need to let others know my experience. Only for the $$. We had been there for shots etc. within the last year, no problem. Moved here in 2016 and had used Bell. but. After THIS experience, will go back to Bell, or to Rock Island. Don't ask specifics, and management, please don't send an explanation, Abel Keppy.
I know how animals and their owners should be treated. Your staff failed. Figure it out amongst yourselves Abel Keppy. Reader, just know I never leave bad reviews, , i.e. nail salon, hotel, etc. but when it comes to my baby, I feel the need to forwarn.

After visiting two other vet clinics in the QCA, we found Abel Keppy Animal Hospital. Their staff is the most caring and empathetic group we've come across in our lives. During a very tough time with our dog's bladder stones, they fought hard to get it unstuck from her urethra- far after hours on a Friday evening. They could've farmed us out to Cedar Rapids, but demonstrated a personal investment in us and our pup. They gained customers for life. We couldn't be happier with our vet team!

I took my senior mixed breed dog, Jack, for his first visit to this clinic on May 30, 2018. I appreciated the great support from the reception / front desk staff even though there was a slight mix-up concerning the Dr. that I was scheduled to see. No worries though, everything worked out and Dr. Harold was very courteous, listened attentively to my concerns, gave Jack a great senior wellness check, and thoroughly explained health related conditions and required aftercare. Truly appreciated the $25 credit for first time visit, as the blood test expenses cut a little deep into my pocket. We are happy to call this our new pet health clinic.

Love this location and staff. Great place. I love the vets there. Also love the dog grooming. And their prices are very reasonable. Easy place to go also. Never a wait time for us. I also love the way that they follow up and care. We have a therapy dog, so we are very picky about where we take this very expensive dog. This place is 5 stars on everything, from the staff out front in reception, to the vet techs, to the vets themselves, all very caring and professional.

I have used Abel Keppy from the first year I moved to Quad Cities, 1999, to the present, 2014. The vets are very good, and gentle with the pets, quite different from the first vet we went to here. They are up to date with the latest medical facts and treatments and when they need a higher level of care for a pet's condition they have other vets with more equipment and experience in those areas that they are in working partnership with around the area. or they refer us to the Vet Colleges within driving distance.
They have grooming onsite and Well-pet checks with grooming so that someone with experience in the pet's current condition and previous appearance is seeing the pet at the Well-check. Their office is always clean and neat with current equipment and the welcoming staff are extremely friendly and careful with the check-in-and-out. Dr. Manwiller, the vet we see at Abel Keppy, is one of the best vets we have ever had in the 35+ years we have owned pets.

Strangely enough, the review I have is based on telephone support. My dear cat ate a Prilosec off of my kitchen counter and I called them on a weekend morning in panic. They were polite and kind, took my information, and put me on hold to speak with the veterinarian. The veterinarian got on the phone himself to tell me that the cat would be fine, just acting odd for a while until it passes through his system. They put me at ease and sent me a care package of coupons and information on their animal hospital. What a wonderful group -- so helpful and all for free.
