Florida Humane Society

After being on so many adoption apps, trying to get a pet. contacting the apps for months no one ever replies? I finally went to the Florida humane society and got two pets in one day! It was love at first sight for all of us. All employees were friendly and very helpful I would highly recommend this place!

We adopted this wonderful boy from Florida Humane society, and we absolutely adore him. The staff was wonderful, easy to communicate with, and very helpful. I would gladly return for another animal. He is very sweet, energetic, and cuddly.

This was my first experience at the Florida Humane Society and I can honestly say this will not be my last. This was the most beautiful experience. First of all Terry, was the sweetest woman I have ever met. She was so kind and so knowledgable about the animals and gave wonderful advise and assistance. She responded so quickly to my inquiry about a cat that I was able to adopt and take my baby home within 24 hours.

The shelter is stunning a beautiful white gate and very clean. Inside you are greeted by Terry who stopped what she was doing to assist. There are tons of toys, accessories, and supplies you can buy for any of your animals. The items are so affordable and they are going to an amazing cause. If you are reading this, this is your sign to choose the Florida Humane Society. My boyfriend and I came in here a few months ago to adopt a cat. The process was very easy and we had a hard time choosing between all of them! Luckily our cat chose us which made things easier. The staff is so helpful and very personable as well as educated! I am so lucky to have found this shelter and my cat!

My 3 boys and I love going to visit the animals at the Florida Humane Society. The team of volunteers there are always so great and answer all my kids' questions. Tom took the boys and I to play with the kittens this afternoon; they were so sweet and my kids were so happy to spend time playing with them. We are so grateful to be able to drop off our extra dog food for the Humane Society to use and always bring home some new toys for our cat and dog, which they love. I hope lots of families come adopt these sweet pets!

We came to look for a furry sister for our older cat, Stefi and we found this beautiful and lovable 3 month old kitty, Rainbow who never left my son's side when we picked her up at Pet Smart. We end up adopting her and bringing her home to us. And after more than 2 weeks, she never left the family side including her older furry sister. We are grateful for Pam and Terry, wo made it easy to get this beautiful kitty in our family.

We adopted our dog Callie and she is the most wonderful dog ever. Carolyn and everyone who works there care so much and do such a good job of finding these dear creatures a home. I highly recommend adopting from them! She's a great dog who loves making friends, playing and socializing.

Recently my family and I adopted "Patches" from this location and we are completely in love! Not only is he amazing and fitting right in with our family, but the staff and volunteers at the facility are wonderful! The whole process took almost a week for them to meet our whole household, other pets included. They even brought him to our house first to make sure he was comfortable! The amount of time and care this team gives for their animals is truly inspiring. Thank you for helping us gain a new family member!

Walking into the Florida Humane Society a few weeks ago changed our lives in the best way. We were greeted by the most friendly and helpful people, all volunteers! It was obvious that the animals are well cared for and loved. The shelter was spotless and there was no animal odor at all. For us, adopting a dog was one of the biggest commitments we could make, and we waited years for the timing to be right.

So when we laid our eyes on the sweetest little black fluff ball, Rhett (now Mickey) we just had to meet him. He jumped onto our 7 year old daughters lap and laid there, looking up at her. We fell in love with him on the spot. We applied to adopt him and waited over a week to find out if we were even being considered. They do not just give their animals out to anyone which proves how serious they are about finding the right match, rather than just getting the animals out of the shelter.

We've had our sweet boy home for a week now and he fits in perfectly. He's the one thing that's been missing from our lives and we are forever grateful that they chose us to be Mickey's family.
