Doggie Do-Rite was created to provide excellent dog care for residents in the northern Chicago suburbs. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, healthy and carefully supervised environment for your dog while you are at work, running errands or when you just want a day away. Your dog will partake in an evaluation that will include aggression testing towards humans, other dogs, food and toys.
Once your dog has been accepted, he/she will join in the fun with our other furry clients. They will be placed in one of our climate-controlled enclosures with dogs of the same temperament and/or energy level.

Services
Doggie Do Rite offers a safe way to entertain, excercise and socialize your dog by providing fun doggie things to do in our cage-free and climate-controlled facility. There is no need to get out of your car anymore, just drive up and a staff member will take your dog out of your car at drop-off and put them back in your car at pick up.
Doggie Do-Rite offers excellent care for our overnight guests. All overnight stays will include a full day of play in our daycare facility. All dogs will then go to a large individual suite with a clean and comfy raised bed to eat and sleep in for a good nights rest. Supervision and interaction by our qualified caregivers will be given to all dogs.

Our Golden Retriever Sally is a big fan; an active 18 month old puppy, she goes to day care 3 days a week and spends all day romping with the other dogs. Yesterday we picked her up after she was boarded for 10 days while we were out of town and she was soft as silk from brushing. She was very happy to see us and spent the day chasing balls at the dog park and slept with us, but in the morning she set herself up by her crate where she goes to get ready for day care, and she was very happy to go back. What makes Sally happy makes us happy.

Doggie Do Rite is the most incredible boarding and daycare. Our sweet gal Puck has been going there since we moved up the the suburbs 5 years ago. Taylor & Connor love her tremendously, so much so that when she had a health scare earlier this year they called me personally to offer support. This place genuinely loves dogs.

My Dog has been playing & staying here for as long as we've had her (7 years). She gets so happy the moment we turn into the long drive because she knows she's going to get to see her furry friends a be greeted with a friendly face. They always love on her and treat her like one of their own dogs. We both highly recommended Doggy Do Rite and give it 5

We've been sending our very energetic, playful and adorable pup to DoggiedoRite for the last three months. He truly cannot wait to go in the morning. We started at 2 days a week and are now up to 5 days. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. You can tell they love their jobs. I know we will be family with the Doggie Do Rite crew for hopefully a long, long time. This place is such a "keeper".

This is an emotional review for me to write since our dog has recently passed, but I have to acknowledge how Taylor and those at Doggie Do-Rite went above and beyond for our family. This was our dog's favorite daycare and boarding facility by far - from the ease of the valet drop-off, to the indoor/outdoor spaces, the professional photography, and fantastic communication by staff.
They were so supportive and communicative while our dog was going through chemo and always kept a special watch on him when his health was declining. The photos taken there will be treasured forever. When he did pass away, they reached-out and were so personal and caring. I always considered it to be the best daycare in the Northshore, but now so more than ever. May every dog get to experience the joy that our dog did during his time there. XO

We have been sending our dog to Doggie Do Rite for over two years. He started out going 5 days a week and over night stays when we traveled. Since COVID hit, he is only going 2 days a week. He LOVES going there. He is scratching on the window to run in their door before we pull into the parking lot. As a small dog, he has interactions with dogs of all sizes and feels safe and is comfortable with all of the staff. The staff communicates with a quick response through e-mail, Facebook messages or a call.

We have been sending our 2 dogs to Doggie Do Rite for many years now. Rye & Leo love their "day care" day on Fridays. Rye nearly jumps out the window as we approach the place. They come home very exhausted and happy. We also board our dogs at Doggie Do Rite when we go on our family vacations. It's very comforting to know they are in a place that they not only love but that loves them back and cares for them so well! Thank you Doggie Do Rite!

Great experience with both daycare and boarding at Doggie Do Rite! This is an awesome place with an awesome team! We lived in the area for a little over a year and were so glad we found them. Our dog Rachel was a little anxious with other dogs. The folks at Doggie Do Rite took a lot of time to take her in, get her situated with a small group and little by little introduced her to the bigger pack. Rachel turned into the happiest and most outgoing dog you can imagine.
She always loved going there for daycare and boarding. She couldn't wait to get out of the car to join her friends at daycare. When we had to move to California we had zero problems getting Rachel adjusted to her new daycare thanks to the great experience she had at Doggie Do Rite! Thanks so much! You really do care about the dogs entrusted to you!

We used to bring our dog here for daycare. The daycare service was decent. it wasn't the best place we've used but certainly not the worst. Their long hours were very convenient. We used this place until we moved away from Chicago. Fast forward to this week - I noticed a charge from Doggie Do Rite on my credit card statement (they had it on file and always charged me out at the end of the day automatically).
That seemed odd since we moved out of Chicago at the end of May. I called them up and they said "oh, yeah, we forgot to charge you for May 10th so we charged it on July 28th." Apparently they didn't think it would be prudent to notify me that they were going to randomly charge my account two months after I stopped doing business with them. If you're going to bring your dog here, pay cash!

First off, you have to love a place that has an in-ground pool for dogs. It's not as deep as it is for people, but unlike facilities around here that have dogs clambering into kiddie pools, these people did it right. I took my dog there a lot when she was a puppy, for the first year that I had her. I credit them with helping socialize her so well.
The dogs are always supervised, so they learn right and wrong around some excellent bipedal pack leaders. The owners talk online with many of their peers, and are often fostering a dog or two awaiting adoption. After my community opened up a dog park near me two years ago, I started taking my dog less and less, but if I got a puppy again, that dog would be going once-or-twice a week. It's a fun community there. I've been to a dozen dog day care facilities, and the indoor and outdoor facilities are top notch.
The ONLY thing I'd like to see here is a webcam, but I trust them enough that a webcam isn't a necessity. One of the coolest thing I saw there was a Yorkshire Terrier just chilling around the other dogs. Not yappy, bossy, or fearful. just hanging with the other dogs. I'm sure that dog's owners are largely responsible, but it still wouldn't have felt comfortable if it didn't feel the people there weren't strong leaders.

If you are looking for a loving environment for your dog to play while you are at work, this is the place! Doggie Do Rite is set back by an auto body shop, on Techny Road in Northbrook. This dog day care center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. There is a large staff of wonderful dog-loving people led by Kelly and Stacy. The staff is available to tell you about your dog's day or offer advice.
There is an in-ground pool just for right for dogs (check it out on their web site!); most days when I pick up my dogs they are soggy! There are discounted 10, 15, and 20 day packages for day care and discounts for additional dogs from the same family. They also have boarding facilities. I have yet to take advantage of them, but appreciate the fact that my dogs would be in 'day care' during the day and boarded in their crates for the night.
They also have pick up and drop off service and a mobile groomer comes once a month. Our dogs love Doggie Do-Rite Daycare and come home wagging, soggy, and happily exhausted.
