Vaccines are substances that "train" your pet's immune system to produce antibodies that shield your companion against certain germs and viruses. As long as the vaccine remains potent in your pet's body, they remain protected. At Best Friends Animal Hospital and Pet Resources, we use the latest advancements in vaccination protocols to ensure that your companion receives the vaccines they need when they need them. We only administer the vaccines that your pet genuinely needs and use the best and safest products available.

If there was a zero, I would have chosen that. Terrible service overall. After we were denied rabies shot for our girl, my wife asked for all the paperwork and stated that we are taking our baby to another vet. Then, the manager wanted to talk. After the talk, we asked for a written reason why we were denied. She brought us a paper stating that they won't serve us anymore :)) We already decided that and we were walking out when they stopped us to talk! WHAT A SHAME - BLAME PLACE! Cameras are rolling in the lobby - proof us wrong! 1.
They ran a urine test to see what was going on with our cat. Came back saying that since the test environment was not clean, the results were inconclusive. And gave antibiotics just in case. After 30 days, they decided to do a ultrasound and found 2 stones. Test should have found it! 2. Denial of Service: Vet denied to give rabies shot. I asked for a paper stating the reason for denial of service - the office manager gave us a paper stating it was due to disrespect and they won't see our baby anymore - WE ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT! 3. Lied to - We were told that we were called to reschedule.
We asked the office manager if the calls were recorded. She said, YES - we told her to listen the call - she refused since it was a lie. 4. The male vet compared our female cat to women. Stating that when female cats get stressed, they bleed just like women. That news to me! :( Overall - extremely UNPROFESSIONAL.

Budders, my Chinchilla, had a freak accident caused from an electrical storm. He needed to be seen by a vet ASAP! We found the perfect place to go - Best Friends Animal Hospital & Pet Resources! They were kind, considerate and very professional. Ultimately, my friend was suffering and I had to make a difficult decision. I needed to allow him to be free and rest.
I was supported on the way into the office by the staff, valued during the visit and now cared for in my grief. Instead of leaving with my friend I left with my friend's footprints in clay. How thoughtful for them to offer this service at no cost. They even helped him mean something even more to others by planting a tree in his honor. Thank you for reading this, Brandon

If you want their admin staff to schedule, re-schedule, and not schedule (after they call you to coordinate a new date and time), you have found the right business to waste your time! Dr Staehle -- It was your admin manager, Bernadette, that was the cause! I called when sitting outside the facility awaiting to get service. The first words out of her mouth over the phone were "why are you here?" It went downhill from there in a one way conversation.
She told me that I didn't have an appointment and told me that she would be happy to provide my animal's medical records to another vet! After 7 years, I will go to another vet. It should NOT be difficult to get an appointment properly scheduled and expect that service.

An amazing practice. When our cat took a turn for the worse back in Nov., they made room for him to be seen as a new patient. They continued with the same respect and compassion throughout the rest of his life. By the end, shy little Makkuro recognized the staff as friends and went to them. They are a remarkable veterinary practice and our family is so grateful for them. Thank you!

This is by far one of the best animal hospitals in the Metro East. My senior chihuahua had severe issues with her teeth. The group at Best Friends knew exactly what she needed and how to properly treat her. Although my girl lost her teeth, I cannot thank them enough as my dog's life expectancy is greater because of their exceptional care. My chihuahua's recovery went so well, she thinks she is a puppy again. (She's turning 13 this year!)

Today I took my dog Aussie to see Dr. Deni Stallons for pain in her back. Dr. Stallons stated my dog getting a red light therapy that would improve blood flow to the site to reduce pain. I was told my dog was getting the treatment before I explained what it was or gave consent to do the treatment. She then stated that the first treatment would be free and that she thinks the other doctors that work in the office bought it so that they could use it in the office for personal use.
Once I got the receipt for the visit it had a $35 charge for the red light therapy treatment. When I called their office back to speak with them about the mistake the manager stated that Dr. Stallons did not say it was free. The office manager stated, "The doctor said the second site would be free not the treatment." However that was not stated during our visit.
I am not confused about anything that was said or explained. I am disappointed in the poor communication provided by Dr. Stallons. As well as the lack of customer service provided by the office manager. There was no solution offered by the office manager. If you are looking for transparency and a vet that isn't going to sneak in extra charges please look elsewhere! I want my $35 back.

I haven't had pets for very long, but the short time I have had them I've been taking them to Best Friend's. They always treat myself and my cats with the utmost respect and kindness. They got us in quickly and got us everything we needed. They are also much cheaper than other vets in my area when it comes to some important treatments and surgeries, which I couldn't be more grateful for. I probably wouldn't be able to have healthy, happy pets if Best Friend's didn't exist so HUGE thanks from to everyone there for being so great at their jobs.

I have been taking my cat who has been plagued with some pretty hefty health issues here for a while now and today's visit really sealed the deal for me. I have had vet anxiety all my life because it seems like in the past I have taken animals to other vets and they quote me a ridiculously high treatment estimate and immediately begin talking about end of life procedures when I show hesitation about the massive estimates.
Not Best Friends, each time I have taken my cat in they have acted very quickly and speak very professionally to me. They have never once thought that my otherwise healthy cat should be put down, and they offered treatment for one issue that was $2500 less than another vet's estimate. Suffice to say I will be taking all my animals now and in the future to this vet's office as long as I live in the area.
