I am the owner of Diane's Discount Pet Supplies and Adoption Center. I have worked with animals since I was 12 years old at: kennels, veterinary offices, pet shops, and pet grooming salons. I started my store with the concept that you can earn a living by doing what you enjoy and still give back to the animal world.

Adoption Center Report

Our Adoption Center is a temporary home for many rescued dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. These animals come from several non-profit out of state rescues and two local rescues. Many of the pets in the Adoption Center were rescued from a gassing shelter or an abusive situation, hazardous environment, were unplanned or were just not wanted anymore.

Adoptable Cats and Kittens Report

Calla's Critter Rescue has many kittens and/or adult cats for adoption. They will be located in the cat windows of Dianes Discount Pet Supplies and Adoption Center in Pottstown, PA or if special circumstances arise they will be located in the foster's home. Donations and Volunteer Report

Animal rescue can be expensive work. Many times, the animals we take in are in need of medical or surgical care before they are available for adoption. Adoption fees cover the costs of routine vaccines, de-worming, topical flea control, heart worm testing and monthly prevention, micro chipping, and medical care while in our facility.

Adopted both my girls from Diane's. I love the friendly and helpful staff. I love going in and checking out the dogs, cats, birds and other surprises. Always stocked. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to adopt a dog instead of buying one from a store

I have been coming here for a year and a half because it's close to home. Unfortunately, I only come here when every other pet store is out of crickets for my frog! Diane's charges less per dozen (only sells by the dozen) but I am constantly disappointed because they sell small sized crickets as medium sized and even large sized! I'd rather pay 3 times the amount for ACTUAL large crickets and keep my frog fed for 3 weeks as opposed to 3 days.

I have also shopped for other reptile supplies as well as cat supplies and EVERYTHING is overpriced here. It's very unfortunate because the hours are great and I enjoy seeing the cats and dogs they have around the store.

Went to get the animals vaccines and bought a new carrier while we were there. Place has lots of dog items and some cat items. The vaccine clinic is awesome and the staff were quick and great with the animals.

Thank you to both Diane and the young man at the counter for helping us bring home our new best friend! You all were amazing and so helpful during the adoption process. Finnigan (M1 from the GS, Border collie, heeler litter) is adjusting so well and is super smart. Our senior dog absolutely adores him.

I just adopted a bonded pair of dogs here. I can't say enough about the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They really care for the pets. Also convenient was being able to obtain all supplies there including high quality dog food. Highly recommend.

Not so sure about the health of their pets for sale.the rats we bought were in a glass tank (bad for their lungs--poor ventilation) and they had diarrhea for the first few days when we took them home. Could have been due to stress, but their food looked cheap. I believe it's the generic brand Walmart carries. They did not know anything about the rats origins stating they were surrendered to the shop. If they do take surrenders I appreciate their efforts. However I'd love to see these little guys in a healthier habitat.

Perfect place to take your pets to get their shots. The three year rabbies vaccine was only fifteen dollars. Nice staff. Highly recommend.

Picked up an amazing 5 Month old Hound Mix (Baxter) now named Booker! The entire experience from spending time with all the puppies to getting help with all the supplies we would need was incredible. Diane's is about 40 minutes out from me, but I am willing to make the drive to pick up his food and toys just to support the business! Thank you all for being so awesome!
