This place is so nice. They have things no other pet store has. I love the assortment of handmade cate toys. Food supply is everything you might need and lots off variety. I went in for cat grass and came out with so many other items. My cats live the handmade by an employee cat mat. It's just the right size for lounging and has cat nip in it. People who work there are knowledgeable and super nice!

McKayla was extremely helpful this week. My dog is itchy a lot and she explained what foods work best and why. I bought some fish based food and raw goats milk. I also bought some raw food with organ meat from Answers that I plan to introduce him to soon. And I bought some coconut oil to rub on him, which seems to help. I also bought some fish oil but have not tried it yet. McKayla knew a lot about the omega oils. Matt was great too - at explaining the raw goats milk and what to expect when I use it. Such great customer service and friendliness is why I've been coming to Braxton's all my life. Thank you!

I have to drive a little far to go there but it's so worth it for their selection. They seem to have everything that the big chain stores don't have with some crossover. Some prices are higher, some are lower. If you don't see it they will get it for you, and the staff is extremely helpful. They are just there to help, not push. Your pet is welcome too! I just love them!

Crazy awesome selection of non-mainstream foods made with quality. I compared prices to Petsmart and Petco and even when the box stores have sales or coupons, Braxton's is still cheaper. Very friendly staff. Only positive experiences. Braxton's offers a rewards program (once you spend a certain amount you get money off), which is a really nice touch! They also offer coupons fairly regularly, which really helps. We just end up buying more from them, so it's a win-win.

Love your store The staff are all so nice and helpful especially when it comes to pet nutrition and just overall pet care. I love all the events Braxtons has and everyone from Wayne on down have highly recomended this store. I love the old hardware feel to this store and fact that its so close to were i live so that if i run out of something i can just drive on over.

Love this place! It's family owned and all of the employees are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They have recommended some great products for us in the past and I trust them. For example, our pup was going through fetch toys extremely quick and we needed something he wouldn't tear apart within a couple days. One of the employees recommended a frisbee that was tested on tigers! Needless to say, this frisbee is still in tact after 2 months! To make things even better, almost everything is cheaper than the chain stores! No need to go anywhere but Braxton's now.

Braxtons is great! I find the prices to be more reasonable than the other premium pet stores. Staff is very friendly, and helpful. They have a scale, which is wonderful. I wish more stores did. It was very helpful to keep track of my dane puppy's quick growth, and she's so used to getting on them now when we go to the vet she goes right for it and sits for a cookie = Also a big plus for us : No shiny floors! Just wish they carried Fromm food for my cats. They certainly have everything else you could need, though!

A great place to buy your pet supplies. Family-owned and the staff always greets you and is very helpful. I wanted to mention that I have found numerous things in this store that are CHEAPER (that's right, I said cheaper!) than the big box pet stores. The food is more expensive because it is much higher quality food than you find at the chain stores. In fact, some of the high-quality food they sell at Braxton's is cheaper (I said it again!) than the crap I've seen at Petco. Highly recommended!

I will never forget back in in 1990 when we got our first standard poodle and had no clue what to feed him, how to train him, how to groom him. And we walked into Braxton's-which is near our home and Bill Braxton took us by the hand and gave us lessons. You could see how much he loved animals and cared that his clients also learned to love them as well.
He even gave us lessons on how to groom our dogs with clippers. And we have been doing it ever since. We buy our food, snacks and toys there. The staff is always helpful, polite and you can bring your dog in for treats. I would highly recommend them

Yeah I'm a fan, but I expect to pay extra to be one. Braxton's is a great pet store. They have everything you'd want for Fluffy or Spot. The variety of pet foods and treats they offer is amazing-with a heavy emphasis on premium, organic and the like. The staff at Braxton's are friendly and accommodating. I like to support good Mom and Pop business and will pay a bit more to do so. If you feel the same-Braxton's is a place you should visit again and again.

This animal supply shop is in a cool old barn that you enter through the back (don't park in front where you first drive in). Good spot for finding healthier treats and chews for your dog (I don't buy treats that were made in China if I can avoid it). My vet's assistant referred me here for Bag Balm, which is for cows but has been doing wonders for my dog's chronically dry nose. A good mix of mainstream and hard-to-find food, treats, toys, etc. We will be back when she needs a new crop of parts to gnaw on.

What a variety of items they have to choose from! For those of you who have dogs and/or cats, this is THE place to shop for all your friend's supplies and accessories. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. They carry even the obscure brands of pet foods and accessories. The only downside to this upscale pet supply store is that they are a little pricey. A little more than a regular store but very nice to go into. And the best part is that you can take your dog or cat shopping with you.

The best pet supply store I know of. Apparently, Braxton's is a family operation that has been around for decades. Not as big as PetSmart and Petco, but plenty big nonetheless. The service is great, like the selection of foods. The main reason I go to Braxton's is the selection of quality cat foods. You won't have trouble finding a variety of high quality grain free foods, canned and dry.
Some of these are really pricey and probably are consumed by the rich, spoiled mainline felines, but others are affordable. They also carry a good selection of ordinary, budget cat foods so it isn't all about the fancy kitties. Braxton's stocks plenty of litters, toys, pans, and miscellaneous cat stuff as well.
