Our coats have been carefully developed to fit the sighthound body shape - but for a perfect fit you will need to measure your dog! It's not so hard - scroll down for a picture. Take the time to measure: your pup will thank you when he or she is all bundled up against the cold or rain! All of our coats are custom made to your measurements.
Every one of our dog coats is made to order, which means not only do you get a perfect fit, but you can choose the exact fabrics, collars, and trims your pup will adore! The standard inner layer fabric is a 200 weight PolarTec fleece - four times more wind resistant than standard polar fleece and super warm.

PS: Picture of my old Lexi, coming back from outside and surprise that she had to come in; When I touch her she was as warm as when she went out. Living in Wisconsin I know the importance of staying warm and dry in cold weather. Being a dog owner, I know the importance of this for my pet too. A few years ago I was searching the web for a coat for my American Stafford Shire Pit Bull. What a joke. Nothing in her size. Nothing warm. Then I happened upon the web site for Blue Willow. At first I though Blue Willow only made coats for certain breeds.but I thought lemme make a call to check.
Bring your dog out and we'll measure her! Yessssss! We made the trip from Milwaukee the next day. My dog was fitted properly and professionally, and I made the choices of what I wanted to her coat to look like (colors) and materials. I could have even had it customized with my dogs name in embroidery. About a week or so later we went back to pick up the final product.
All I can say so you, the reader can grasp my sentiments, is this. if there was a picture for the phrase "money well spent" this dog coat would be it. And as a dog owner concerned for my dogs warmth.just WOW! Fitted. Waterproof. Beyond warm. And also attractive. My dog will have this coat as long as she lives its THAT WELL MADE! If you knew me you would know I never have anything nice to say about anyone or anything lol. But Blue Willow deserves this praise and more. Respectfully, Cynthia Brown.
