Ok so let me just start by saying Allie and this class are amazing! After 3 classes one of my puppies biggest problem behaviors, pulling the leash and jumping is all but gone. Before greenbelt dog training he had been to one other puppy training class at petsmart. It was Okay but my rottie pup is EXTREMELY smart and they went over things he had already known since 8 weeks old. Sit, down, etc. Allie's class is leaps and bounds above that one for the same price.
It is a beginning class but I do feel like it moves at a faster pace which is great for my puppy, as he picks up on things quickly. I've seen a great improvement in him and we still have 3 more classes left to go! Just as a heads up he will suggest certain tools depending on the dog such as a correction or prong collar. I do not have an issue with those tools but if you do, this may not be the class for you. Overall I am loving it so far and can't wait to sign my dog up for intermediate/agility after he's done.

Allie did tell me were gonna get thru this and we sure did. My rottie is a handful but I can say is that he does show you the techniques to train your dog. The class environment is a hit or miss. There are lots of distractions which can be good and bad. Love the policy of NO CELLPHONES! This is a class and you go to learn! Thanks uncle Allie! Rocky misses you already.

Pros: Allie knows dogs and he can teach you to train your dog. I took his basic obedience class (couldn't finish due to medical reasons) and he absolutely has a gift! For the price he's asking, you cannot do better! Cons: You need a little patience :-) Allie does like to hear himself talk, especially in the beginning, but if you get past that you'll learn a lot and end up with a well-trained dog. Allot more time in your schedule for the lessons, especially for the first couple. And be sure to ask him very specifically what the homework is at the end of each class.he's often vague and you'll show up next week having worked on something else.
