Services
You are welcome to bring your own food if your animal is on a special diet or does not do well with a feed change. Please label it clearly with the animal's name and how often to feed. If they only get a certain amount, package each feeding individually, and label with the date and time for each feeding.
Dogs: Each dog gets his/her own run. The run area is divided into two sections: one section for eating and sleeping which is approximately 4' x 4'. The second part of the run is the 'outside' area and is approx. 4' x 12'. This area is enclosed, much like a porch. We can heat it in the winter and open it up in the summer, while still protecting the dogs from the heat and rain. All the kennels are heated in the winter, and we have large exhaust fans and some nice shade trees to keep summer-time temperatures down.
Drop off: You will take your animal down to the kennel, with one of us escorting, and you will put your animal in the run area. Pick up: Pay first with cash or check, then we will escort you down to pick up your animal (who is usually pretty excited about going home!) Please make sure your animal is either on a leash or in a crate at all times.

Despite what the reviews say, there is no place for the dogs to run around. In fact they do not let them out of their cage at all! I had to leave my dog there for an emergency and she didn't leave her cage for 3 days. The pens are just long enough so the dogs can do their business at the back and the employees will clean up. The employees are not the most polite people and they do not take card payments.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. This is a family run farm owned and run by Mr. Whiteleather. He is the kindest soul you will ever meet. The kennels are extremely clean. It's not a "frou-frou" kind of place, if you're into that kind of thing, but it is a sensible, straight-forward, extremely affordable option that I have used for close to a decade.
I travel a lot for work & have 4 dogs. I've paid extremely high prices x 4 at many other places in the area that I feel don't treat & care for my dogs in the way they are looked after here. I will trade all the "bells and whistles" of other pet boarding businesses in exchange for the trustworthy and sanitary care they receive here.

I've used this kennel for 9 years and I e never had a problem with the owner or services. It's a homey farm and the kennels are in a barn, but it's clean, kept, and climate controlled. Mr White is a trusty farmer, always friendly and welcoming and always has a spot for my dog! No frills and no puppy perks just good old fashion dog friendly home away from home for your dog!

I have boarded my precious furry child, Nairobi with Vacation Kennels and Mr. Whiteleather since she was a pup. She is now 13, a senior dog. Robi seems to be very satisfied with her stays and I am more than happy with the gentle treatment given to my dog. The facility is clean, spacious and Mr. Whiteleather takes every precaution to ensure safety, prompt feeding, watering and comfort for this home away from home. I highly recommend this facility and their care to pets. Robi does, too! Arf! Arf!

We left our big German Shepherd and our little Dachshund with Vacation Boarding Kennels over Christmas. The kennels were extremely clean and our pups were safe and sound. The inside of the kennel is heated so your pups will stay warm during the winter, and each dog has a separate run so they can go outside to use the bathroom. The owners are very kind people and we look forward to booking with them again!
