Dr. Jenna Cooper BVSc Dr. Jenna Cooper is from Orange County and grew up with a home full of pets. She went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a major in Animal Science and graduated from Massey University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2007. When she graduated, she wanted to be able to handle any situation so she took a position at an emergency and specialty hospital and worked her way into one of the top facilities in West Los Angeles where she was an associate for 7 years before moving back to private practice in Orange County at OC Veterinary Medical Center for four years.
Allergy testing is commonly performed on chronically allergic pets with itchy skin and/or recurrent skin or ear infections after other problems have been ruled out such as bacterial infection, skin parasites parasites and food allergy. Pets with allergic sensitivities suffer needlessly with excessive itching or chronic infections and may be given improper treatment if their allergy is not recognized and diagnosed correctly. Our hospital routinely tests dogs and cats for sensitivity to a wide array of allergens ranging from insects and grasses to trees and molds.
Day Care Daily Program Annual Subscription - Includes 12+ months of 5 days per week day care (260 in total) - (M-F) - $866.66/mo. At Banderas Pet Hospital & Boarding you know your pet will be safe and happy while you enjoy your vacation or business trip. Your pet will enjoy his or her own private kennel (unless family members are requested to be housed together) and plenty of play timed in a safe exercise area always with a care giver in charge. The exercise area is spacious and provides more than ample room for your pet to remain active.
Dan's dog training and handling journey began when he moved to Canada from New Zealand where he was a K9 handler being teamed up with a Czech import German Shepard named Yuri. After immigrating to California, Dan worked for a Service Dog Training organization before starting his own business. Dan is also an accomplished student of the Michael Ellis School of Dog Training, a world renowned dog handler and trainer. Unique to his style, Dan specializes in letting a dog think and make a positive choice as opposed to other styles that reinforce a particular trick.

Banderas animal hospital is the best Animal hospital around. We always feel welcomed and never rushed. We absolutely love our veterinarian Dr. Allysa Brown. She always takes her time with our pets and explains things thoroughly. She always gives us a call back even if the test results are normal. We always get a follow up text or phone call from the staff as well. I love how we are made to feel special. I highly recommend Banderas Pet Hospital.

We absolutely LOVE Banderas Pet Hospital. We found them last year when we moved to Mission Viejo. All of the staff members are super nice, greet you with a smile, and most importantly they love our dog, Bentley. Not only are they easy to get a hold of, they offer the best advice, and accommodate all of our needs. We will forever be a Banderas Pet Hospital customer!

From the doctors to all the staff, this place is amazing! Our dog has had his share of illness and every time we take him in, we know he will be taken care of and loved. We not only trust Dr. Cooper and Dr. Brown with the care of our dog but know they always have our best interest. We would not go anywhere else.

We love the Doctors and Staff at Banderas Pet Hospital. They have taken amazing care of our new puppy and we moved vets to have our 2 year old dog treated here as well. Dr. Brown and Dr. Cooper are very experienced, have the patients and owners best interest in mind, and are very upfront and transparent about pricing. We have also put both of our dogs in the board and train programs that are open now at Banderas. Dan Cooper is extremely experienced and his approach and training style always has the dogs best interest in mind. He creates individual programs for each dog and is great to work with and learn from. Thank you Banderas Team!

The team at Banderas Pet Hospital & Boarding are wonderful! They've cared for our 3 cats over the past several years, for both well checks and occasional health issues. We love Banderas Pet Hospital & Boarding. We have been bringing our dog Rosie there for the last three years. Dr. Cooper is so good with her and she really keeps a close eye on her health. She is very open about prices and writes prescription I can send through Chewy which saves us so much. Plus, she really talks to you about your pet and even sent us information on Cushing's disease when Rosie was diagnosed with.
We are now bringing our new little puppy to her. Also, our pup Ivy will start the Board and Training next week and I can't wait to see the difference it will make. Everyone there is caring and supportive, always. Best experience I ever had with our different dogs.

What a wonderful, warm environment with knowledgeable doctors and staff! They treated our Jack with great care and explained what was likely going on with him, offering a methodical approach to diagnosis and treatment. Jack is in excellent hands with Drs. Cooper and Brown and the rest of the team at Banderas Pet Hospital!
