His multiple appearances as a World Championship competitor, and multiple National and Regional podium placements in different dog sports, afford him the opportunity to help and coach many top competitors in the U.S. and abroad. Dave brings his knowledge of multiple disciplines and dog sports to the table to offer the most informative training and coaching available.
Karen spent 20 years in the public health sector as a Social Worker before changing her career path to working with dogs. She has been training, teaching, competing, and titling for the past 16 years. She works extensively with owners on how to provide black and white clear communication to their dog, and how to manage the pack in a multi-dog household.
Private lessons are THE way to go if you want to be intimately involved in your dogs training. Private lessons are custom tailored to what you feel is important for your dog to learn. We teach you how to train your dog, and then how to reinforce those skills in your home environment and in public. Private lessons are available for just about anything that you might want to do with your dog. Whether it be teaching polite manners or competing in a performance sport, the possibilities are ENDLESS!
Our Board and Train program is our most popular service! It is a perfect alternative to private or group classes if you do not have the intitial time to devote to training. Board and Train is a "jump start" on what you would like your dog to learn. Canine Headquarters' lays the foundation for the maintenance training that you will provide to your dog once he/she returns home.
