We are a full-service pet care facility for dogs and cats offering a broad range of services including boarding, grooming, and daycare.
You are welcome to bring food, medication and up to one blanket or mat, two toys, and as many food treats as you like. We ask that you do not bring large beds, beds with zippers or multiple pieces (such as a removable covers), rawhide or no-hide treats, or toys smaller than a tennis ball. We will provide dishes, cushy and padded bedding, and even additional toys if we feel your dog needs more entertainment. We encourage you to bring your pet's food if at all possible to avoid unnecessary transitions that could upset their digestion.
Please review our requirements and be sure your dog is up to date before his or her visit. Distemper or Distemper combo shots such as DHPP or DHLPP (either 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted). If your dog is still a young puppy, please note that we cannot accept puppies until they are fully vaccinated for all of the vaccines listed above, with no boosters left to receive. This means all vaccine series are complete, and all required vaccines have an expiration date of at least one year from the date given.
Our cat accommodations are located in a separate building to maintain their privacy. We have provided individual condos with three levels for exploring and a cozy nook for napping. Each condo unit is individually vented to ensure a continuous supply of fresh air. We have added a tropical fish tank with busy fish for their enjoyment.

We brought our German Shepherd here for the first time ever boarding him and we loved the experience we had! The property and facilities are clean and well organized. The employees were incredibly helpful and kind to us as first time boarders. Our pup came home very happy and clean after his exit grooming! We'll definitely come back the next time we need to board our buddy.

I brought my nervous pup here for grooming and she came back looking incredible! This is the first time I've taken her here since we're new in town, but everyone was very nice! From the front desk staff to the grooming staff, I felt safe leaving my dog here. Since this was her first time here I was worried that her hair might not be cut properly but this was the best hair cut she's ever received.

We only feel comfortable leaving our 6-1/2 year-old lab at Cascade Kennels. Ops Manager Kelly Keppel is exceptional at customer service & team management. Over six years we've left our Ellie for many weekend stays & longer trips, plus one 30-day extended stay with training. She always goes in comfortable, has no issues & a downright wonderful time (more exercise than at home!), and comes out the same happy pup. Recently when Cascade was full we had another kennel experience which made us appreciate Cascade all the more! Look no further.

We've used this Kennel to watch our beloved pup and have been pleased with the service. They have a good variety of add on activities to meet your furry family members needs while you're away. I get the impression that they put in great effort and care to get to know each animal boarding at their kennel. I'm glad to finally find a place I trust to keep my fur baby safe if I have to travel.

This was the longest period of time our older labs have been away from us, and I think we had more nerves than they did. The staff was incredibly kind, and responsive to our request for updates via email and by phone. They cared for every little detail in the same manner that I would, including our dogs comfort. They came home happy and we feel great knowing that Cascade Kennels is around the corner the next time we need to travel.

My boyfriend and I definitely will not be bringing our dogs back to Cascade Kennels. All three dogs returned to us w/ kennel cough, and when I brought home my German Shepherd I noticed she was bleeding from her LT paw. I had to go to the store and purchase a blood clotting kit, in order to stop the bleeding. When I called cascade kennel, they were defensive, and not apologetic.
She had been groomed the same day, and the staff members failed to tell me they had trimmed her nails too short. As another review had stated they also fed our dogs completely the wrong amount of food. I had clearly listed the amount of food to give the dogs. Our three dogs came back to us overweight, cascade kennels had given them pretty much a full box of food in five days, that should have lasted for four weeks.
For the amount of money you spend at this facility they could at least send you updated pictures of your dogs. I had each pup schedule for the cuddle and hike package, and honestly I wonder if our dogs even received the care that I had requested. For 1,500 for three dogs for five days, you think they could at least send updated pictures of your pets that are boarding.

We booked our 2 dogs pretty last minute (3 weeks) as our regular house/pet sitter was ill. This was their first time being boarded while we were going out of town. Communication was good-we called a couple times to make sure we had submitted all their vet/vaccinations records needed, etc. We explained both the dogs are new to being boarded, that neither are really good with other dogs & that our female is a nervous Nellie.
Unfortunately both the dogs ended up with kennel cough when they came home even with their vaccination and were so exhausted they slept almost constantly for 2-3 days. They were so stressed and wiped out-this may just not be the place for us unless it's a last resort.

I have been using Cascade Kennels since I moved to the Seattle area two years ago and I am kicking myself that I am just now doing a review! I use Cascade specifically for boarding of my beloved basset hound Clementine when I travel, and as someone who has trust issues with their fur baby and the highest of standards when it comes to her care, I can confidently say I trust Cascade Kennels implicitly.
The staff goes above and beyond to ensure my baby is taken care of as if she was at home, and is always so sweet with her and patient with me when I call to check on her! My dog is getting older unfortunately (why can't dogs live forever ) and even with her medicine and restrictions, there are no issues, she is always taken care of like mom would! Thank you to the Cascade Kennel staff for taking such amazing care of my baby, so grateful!

Cascade is amazing. My pupper goes there for both daycare and boarding when we travel and she starts to get excited the second we turn into their driveway. And, when we get her out of the car, she starts to pull me to the door because she's so excited! The team there takes such good care of my dog (as evidenced by her excitement). She plays and gets nature walks and special treats during overnights and they give me a report about how she did after every visit. I'd recommend them to anyone who has a dog that needs lots of love and fun playtime for a day or several days.

Horrible experience here. You have to pay for walks for your dogs, if you dont they are expected to relieve themselves within their own kennels. Dogs are caged next to each other like a jail cell. When i went to pick up my dog he was shaky, freaking out and i could tell something was up. Looking inside i see 5 dogs barking super loud and i question if my dog was even able to sleep during his boarding time! Honestly you are better off finding someone on rover.

This review is for the board and train program specifically. Dawn is a fantastic trainer and will have your dog trained in a shockingly short amount of time. The real work will be for your dog to respond to you like it does to Dawn, which takes a ton of consistency on your part after the training program. I was nervous about corrective based training, but really it is corrective/praise based training.
My dog really appreciates the structure and set of rules Dawn follows. It's of utmost importance that your dog can understand the rules and that it's fair, otherwise corrective training wouldn't work. Once your dog has learned the command, it will either go 1) command 2) verbal/physical praise OR 1) command 2) correction 3) praise. So your dog will always end on something positive. Ps.
I have a very anxious dog. The structure really helped his anxiety out on walks and to follow what I say. This program will not be a fix all, but will give you a great foundation. You can/should continue working with Dawn after the program to tackle anything that comes up later.

Cascade Kennels Training. We decided to keep one of our foster dogs, a rottweiler / shepherd / chow mix that had not been socialized with either humans and dogs. We brought her to Cascade Kennels Training for the 4-week board & train, and Dawn, Liz, and Dan did wonders on teaching her how to interact, and us on how to communicate better and keep working with her.
The difference after those four weeks was amazing! Over the past five months, we've sent her back twice for advanced training when we've had to travel, and she's so much more confident and comfortable around both people and other animals. Can't recommend Dawn and the team enough!

Cascade Kennels Training is 5 star all the way! Recently I adopted a deaf dog - this was more of a challenge than I was ready for alone. I called and talked with Dawn and dropped my dog off for a 4 week board & train program. I knew this was an investment in my dog and would ultimately strengthen our bond. I just had no idea how true those words were.
My dog learned so much. Dawn communicated with me via phone and text the whole time. I received photos of him and even got to visit and see what he was learning. It was obvious that he was receiving superior treatment and loved the trainers. I left a dog at the kennel that I didn't know how to communicate with; 4 weeks later I learned what they taught him and brought home my best friend. It didn't stop there - Dawn has answered all my questions since we've been on our own. Best money spent, next to the adoption fee!

Our nervous golden border collie mix loves Cascade Kennels and is always happy to return. He is a smart one in that he puts the brakes on every time we approach the door to the vet but never here. He is happy to see us when we pick him up but I can also tell that he trusts them and for a nervous rescue dog, this means a lot. I never feel guilty leaving our dog here and always sign up for the potty walks and nature walks!

We have used Cascade Kennels for years. Unfortunately, our recent visits for grooming caused serious health problems. The groomer expressed anal glands externally (even though it is listed for our dog not to do this). Our dog had significant swelling after this and developed an abscess which needed antibiotic treatment. The vet confirmed that it was likely due to the groomer technique.
These things can happen, but I called to let the Kennel know and they went on defensive mode instead of apologizing. We decided to give them another try many months later.we were told that the price of the grooming would increase since our dog didn't like her arms being worked on. (I suspect the issue was more with my requests and complaints rather than with our dog's grooming. Now, our dog is sick with cough and congestion. Will not go to this place again.

I have boarded my dog several times here. She comes out happy and healthy with no signs of stress. It's obvious she's been getting all the extra services paid for. She really likes the staff. People should be aware that the best a kennel can do to prevent kennel cough is to require proof of vaccinations. Your dog can pick it up anywhere. Cascade kennels has a good reputation amongst the dog community.

I have boarded my dogs here twice now. The first time, my older dog came back with kennel cough. Also, both dogs are on different foods and they fed them the same food even though both foods were labeled with names. The second time, my older dog got kennel cough AGAIN and my younger dog came home with vomiting and diarrhea. No one told me about the coughing even though I had called everyday.
They told me my younger dog had some soft stool but was okay now. 3 vet visits later and I will not be using this place again. They do offer amenities that other places don't but it's not worth it with how sick my dogs got.

I recently boarded my sweet 13 yr old English Springer Spaniel, Big Mac here and I am amazed. I was a little worried about leaving an older dog, because you just never know when that final day will come. After reading the other reviews and touring the place, I felt comfortable giving this place a try. I also had Big Mac groomed before picking him up and the grooming was excellent. I will be a regular customer.

I have been coming here the past week with my beautiful foster dog Bella, she has a torn ACL and is on seizure medication. I was unable to keep her at my apartment due to stairs. They were so amazing with her in every way. She always came back to me so happy and never acted weird after being there. Everyone there takes the best care of her! I will be coming back here with any future pets!

I have boarded my Chihuahuas here for years. After today, I will never board them anywhere else. I would like to make the strongest possible recommendation for Cascade Kennels. Today, in the middle of a baseball game while we are down here in Phoenix, I got a call from Kelly at Cascade Kennels to let me know that she had taken my Chihuahua, Mia, to the vet because an eye abrasion she had looked much worse.
Not only did Kelly take her to the vet without hesitation, but she also stayed with Mia during the afternoon, holding and comforting her, while the vet, ophthalmologist, and I made a series of cross-country phone calls to decide on the best course of action. It was decided that Mia needed emergency surgery. So Kelly took Mia to the emergency hospital, checked her in, and continued to stay with her until she could be medicated to the point where she could relax and await surgery. Kelly sent me photos of Mia, as well as photos of Mia's brother, Raul, back at the kennel, letting me know they are both OK and in good hands. It's so hard to be far away from my little girl while she goes through all this, but I know she is getting terrific care at the Animal Emergency Hospital in downtown Redmond and that she was snuggled and reassured all day by Kelly, who went above and beyond to care for Mia today. Cascade Kennels has a customer for life in me.
