Doggy Haven Resort is like no other dog boarding and dog daycare facility in the Seattle area! We believe that dogs should be allowed to socialize and play with one another during their stay in our first-class Bothell resort, romping around the playroom and outdoor play areas under the watchful eyes of our trained canine companions. After a full day of play and social activity, our boarding guests retire to climate-controlled rooms with glass fronts, off-the-floor beds, heated floors and soft music.

Doggy Haven Resort was established in 2002 to serve the boarding needs of our daycare clients. There was a search for property in south Snohomish County that would enable our daycare clients to not go too far out of their way to see us. Doggy Haven Resort sits on nearly five acres in a quiet valley next to a horse ranch.
At Doggy Haven University socialized dogs can get the physical and mental stimulation that they need to have a happy and healthy daycare experience! At DHU we focus on the whole dog. Your pooch will enjoy small playgroups matched with similar playstyles, comfortable rest periods, cuddles, positive reinforcement guidance, and daily report cards including photos.
We are open for boarding with modified hours, curbside service and exercise during the state mandated health restrictions. Doggy Haven Resort is happy to offer all dogs boarding with us their own personal, cozy room with full glass-front, kept cool by a climate-controlled facility and warmed with radiant-floor heating.

One of our wonderful staff lives on site to provide care for all of our guests overnight! All other times we have a full complement of staff to care for the dogs on the same schedule morning to night, even if our front office might be closed (like the reduced hours on the weekend or during holidays).There is no one easy answer for this, but the short one is: maybe.

Fritz the Doberman- Doggy Haven Resort was Fritzi's home away from home. He loved going there twice a week and would always go crazy the closer we got to DHR. My wife and I can't thank the staff enough for how they treated our dog. They always greeted Fritz with a smile when we dropped him off. Although you can never truly know how well your dog is treated at a day care facility, one thing is for sure, we sincerely believe they treated him very well.
Their policy of always giving dog owners a report card and photos of your dog at the end of the day is something that we cherished. Fritz is now living in Tarifa, Spain enjoying daily walks and runs on the beautiful beaches of Costa de la Luz in Southern Spain. He is very happy, but no doubt misses his friends and staff at DHR. We have been looking for boarding services in Bothell/Millcreek area and after lot of trials at different places we tried Doggy Haven for our 2.5 year old pug, Leo. We were really impressed by their boarding room with suites created like big glass cubicles. This gives it a very roomy feel. The suites are in a big room which is temperature controlled and has very soft ambient music playing, which I liked personally.
The suites are sanitised well. They have their own kitchen, refrigerator, food storage system for each dog who boards. We were really impressed with their system. They also offer grooming services, which I feel is a great convenience. Most importantly, everyone on their team are very responsive and maintain prompt communication. They take very good care of the pets in their care. Mary, Kellie, Ryan, Amber all are amazing! Leo never looks back to say bye to us when we drop him off there.
He is royally spolied by the love and pampers while at DH, and we are so thankful for making him feel at home, while away from home! All we were looking for while searching for boarding, that Leo should be SAFE, happy and his needs are taken of in our absence. All of these were checked off at Doggy Haven. A big kudos to their team and highly recommend exploring Doggy Haven for pet boarding.

Friendly and Canine-Educated Staff. They spend a lot of time playing with the dogs and supervising them. When boarding they also send you daily reports. They care a lot about the health and safety of the animals in their care. And also work with dog owners to create a detailed profile for your dog before they accept them into care. My dog is so anxious by nature- I get anxious about trusting her care to new people. But DHR are behavior and training-focused. I would definitely recommend them. Just plan ahead, they're always booked out.

Our two pups love their stays at Doggy Haven! It's become their home away from home when we go on trips, and they have a ball (pun intended) playing with the other dogs in the yard. When we bring them home, they fall asleep so fast from all the energy of playing. The staff are so friendly and have taken great care of our dogs, including one of our pups that has some allergy/health needs.
One time they promptly mentioned an issue when she had a small sore on her face so we could treat it quickly. Our dogs are very comfortable with the staff, even our shy one. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our pups to be at.

We tried Doggy Haven for doggy daycare for our 1.5 year old dog. When we picked him up they gave us the wrong dog. I was mortified! When we got home, our dog drank water continuously for 5 minutes. It was apparent that he was not offered any water all day. Then we noticed he was injured. He was limping pretty good. Injury was not mentioned when I picked him up. I called them and they did not answer, nor did they return my call after leaving a message. I strongly suggest that you find another doggy daycare or boarding facility.

My dog ended up in the ICU for 4 days because she was so sick by the time she was finally taken to see a vet and hadn't been taken to get medical care promptly. Very poor, manager gave no real apology and took no responsibility and I've been landed with a significant vet bill for her care. Don't use this establishment.

I am NOT pleased to be writing this review about Doggy Haven but when I receive lousy customer service I need to speak up. This is my 3rd time here and the 1st appointment was great but now it has taken a big turn for the WORST, since. First my 2nd appointment was CANCELED the morning of and this was after I had already given my dog her sedatives and was ready for the Grooming appointment.
I received a call from the front office staff while I was enroute to Doggy Haven that they are canceling my appointment due to the Groomer having to leave work unexpectedly and that they could not get me in for that day and I would have to reschedule for a later date. That is horrible customer service and it really upset me after having given my dog her sedatives for just that appointment.
Ok I rescheduled for approximately 3 weeks later due to scheduling. I called Doggy Haven front office the day before my appointment to verify and confirm that we are all set. Boy was I WRONG. The front office confirmed and said that we were all set to go. OK I thought that I was good and wouldn't have any problems. Nope I was wrong. The morning of the appointment my dog had a small potty accident so I bathed her and I arrived approximately 5 ish mins late for my appointment but she was ready to go and again I had given my dog her sedatives for the Grooming appointment.
When I arrived I was met by a really rude lady that was checking in my dog. She started with starring at her watch and saying that your dogs rabbies records have expired and that she needed them within 5 mins or that we would have to cancel the appointment (literally while holding her hand out with 5 fingers) how rude. I was really caught of guard and since it was a Sunday my vet is closed and advised her that my dog is up to date and all of her shots and vaccines and that I submitted them during our 1st appointment and that I had called the day prior to my appointment to ask the front office staff if we were all set for my appointment and was told yes.
I could have easily asked my vet on Saturday (the day before when I called Doggy haven) to fax over my dog's vet records so that Doggy haven would have the information that they needed but AGAIN I was told by the front office staff when I called the day prior that we were all set to go. This again is horrible customer service. So back to the the morning of the appointment at check in.
The rude lady finished her spill and then I told her about my horrible previous experience and that my dog is up to date on her shots and that my vet is closed but I may have my dog's health history print out at home and AGAIN I reminded her that I had given my dog sedatives only for this Grooming appointment and how much of a inconvenience and waste of my time these experiences have been to result in my dog being given sedatives and yielding in NO HAIR CUT!
Also I reminded her that I had called the day prior to verify my appointment and that I was good to go and was told YES by the front office staff. Her reply was I don't work in the front office and it really summed up my experience with Doggy haven resort. They have lousy customer service and I will NOT be going back to this place again. I would have given zero stars but that was not an option. Plus to find out that I have a 3 year rabbies vaccine for my dog that expires in 2024 that is on file with them. As I said I will never go back to this place.

I have a Shepsky. Being half shepherd and half husky, she needed to be around other dogs to socialize. I chose Doggy Haven. A year later, my dog goes once a week to see her friends, she absolutely loves it. I now also use Doggy Haven for boarding and grooming. The staff is always amiable, and you can tell their love for animals is a passion within. Day care, grooming, or boarding, Doggy Haven is our place of choice.

Been taking our dog here for grooming since our previous groomer is no longer available. Doggy Haven came with many referrals from friends, so we made the change. The facility is huge and well laid out on a big lot in rural Bothell. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Love that they have early drop off times at 7:00am. Also appreciate online booking with a checklist of services you want included! Fenway (our dog) always comes back clean, trimmed and in a great mood. Nice to have such a professional team so close by and not feel gouged by the prices.

My good friend uses this facility on a regular basis. They really provide personalized care for your dog. Everyone I've interacted with here is great. A real bunch of animal lovers. Remy can't wait to get here. He starts crying with anticipation the minute we get close. I highly recommend them for the high quality of care they provide.

We left our 8 month old dog for a little over two weeks. She seemed to have a great time and cane home happy & clean! We were able to tune into the Facebook page to se photos! Thanks for taking great care of our active pup! Update: she just did another long stay and my kids love the updates "nightly report". They enjoyed finding out how much she ate, the description of her day & who she played with and especially the photos. I feel confident leaving my 4 legged baby here!

Love Doggy Haven. I've seen a night and day difference with my pup. With covid being so. fun(?). it's hard to socialize my fur baby. The trainers are out of this world and understand behaviors and psychology of dogs. They help me with understanding my dog and honing good behavior. They are gentle, creative, and very knowledgeable.

My dog goes for daycare about once a week, not as much during Covid, but I'm trying to get him back as much as possible. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. I really feel like my dog is in good hands! He comes home tired and happy : the groomers also do a great job. I love that I can get him groomed and then he can go straight into daycare. The staff does an amazing job in all areas. Thank you! Winston is a happy pup!

We brought our rescued VERY shy Sadie here to get her some 'manners'. Wow! Sadie learned so much! She can be with other dogs and be calm. She can 'sit' and (almost) 'stay' and we're teaching her new things. The click-and-treat method is fantastic. The trainers are outstanding. Each dog got attention every session and the trainers adapted to every dog and their situation. Very impressed with this group. Thanks so much for teaching US how to help Sadie.

Our doggies love it here! Very clean, with smart animal-loving employees and awesome grooming services. It puts our mind at ease to know they are well cared for and are so happy to go in when we drop them off (not the case at another nearby doggy daycare we've taken them). During the pandemic, our dogs have suffered the most from inability to get groomed. We have a Scottish Terrier (Jackson) and a Poodle-Bichon (Lexi) and Doggy Haven Resort was a life saver! They practiced extremely safe methods of protecting both their customers and themselves. Also, we managed to get our puppers looking and feeling great!

I decided to check this place out because I used to live really close to it I'm hoping to get a neighborhood kinda community feel when I get a service done. I took my havashu puppy to get a groom at 16 weeks old and they did a wonderful job and exactly as I had asked, i only wanted his face his belly his booty and his paws done, so I decided to book another appointment.
I was called a week later to be told the the gromer that I had booked with is leaving because her husband makes too much money as the lady on the phone giggled I thought it was very unprofessional. I booked with another groomer thinking maybe its just the lady on the phone. I bring my pup back in for his next haircut, and I show a picture of how I like him to look and try to tell the groomer how much I care for his coat, she interrupted me to tell me it looks like a 9pic and I clarified I did NOT want him shaved long and scruffy is the look, giving the same instructions as before face, booty, belly, and paws.
When I picked up my dog i was in shock he had been totally shaved down, i e-mailed the facility about my concerns and recieved a courtesy email from the manager in reply. I told them how I felt and sent my pictures their way to put in my file so this wouldn't happen again and never received a reply, so 5 days later I reach out to the mager again to re express all my concerns and recieved an email saying she was out of office but they would put the pictures in my file.
I dont feel as I ever got anything out of my efforts. I did not like that I had to email 3 times just to get some pictures in my file after a big mistake was made. I dont think I could have been more clear during consultation then to be super specific and to show picures. They were kind to my dog and kind to me but overall unprofessional and kind of rushed is really not what I'm looking for.

This is for GROOMING ONLY! I brought my dog there 3 years ago and we loved what Debbie did with him. In fact we been recommending them for years to our Samoyed community on facebook. That stops today. I tried to reason with them, telling them that my dog does not like to stand on the table for more than 3 hours, is there a way to groom him first, trim him, than give him a bath and dry him later.
Thinking we could also let him dry at home. NOPE was their answer. They just seemed like they really did not want to deal with my dog. Also told me that it would take 3 hours just to brush him. Dematting is extra and they charge by the minute. And they could not give me an estimate until they saw my dog in person. Way too much for me. I'm done with this place and will no longer deal with them.

I've never used the boarding service at this place, only the grooming for my Aussie and Training for my Border Collie Mix. The groomers here are awesome. They listen to the style you want for your dog, as well as offer suggestions. My Aussie is a shy nervous dog, but he is always relaxed during the grooming sessions and looks great when they are done.
As for the training, I highly recommend Kim and Jen and the levels training classes. We adopted a Border Collie who had no training, and very little social skills. The levels are great because you can move at your own pace. If your dog needs more time to learn, they get it. And if they are a quick study, they can move up to the next level as needed.
We also used Kim for individual training sessions and her knowledge and experience shined through every session. She is great to work with and provides so many resources outside for Doggy Haven so you can continue training.

I really appreciate the consistently good care provided by these folks. They really get to know each dog well, and to provide information about how the dogs do while staying with them (we've only used daycare thus far). My two Border Collies are very different from each other, but their attention to each one has been excellent. It's really helpful to have calm, cheerful, energetic and informed staff to interact with every time we come in. I've also used their grooming services, and I've been very pleased with how they look after these!

Doggy daycare is the best invention ever! My 16 month old Australian Shepherd has endless energy and having him in daycare two days a week is an absolute god send. He comes home happy and exhausted. Doggy Haven is the cleanest and most friendly facility I've seen and it's close by, thankfully! The dogs literally all look like they are smiling and now I know why!
Top notch service, great package discount pricing and lovely clean and safe facilities. It's definitely peace of mind that they are so thorough with health and temperament assessments beforehand too. Ask for Leah! This place is awesome. Leah has been grooming our now 16 year old dog Charlie for several years. I've told her she can never quit because she's the only one who can touch him without him panicking. All staff are great. We haven't used their boarding or training services, but I wouldn't hesitate if the need ever arose.

Fantastic staff and professional results. Clean facilities, they remember me and our dogs. One time the groomer made sure she knew that she has nicked a small skin growth on one of our dogs back. I would not have noticed if she had not pointed it out. It is easy to see how that could accidentally happen and I really appreciated the disclosure. I now know to make sure future groomers are aware of this special spot. Woof! :-

Debbie has twice groomed our Samoyed, Lucy, and each time she comes home looking great! The staff overall are always kind, making recommendations such as using the correct lead instead of a harness. This should help keep her fluffy hair from getting matted. The facility is well kept and they offer a lot of services at one location. We discussed some training options as Lucy is young still and they offered some custom tailored options that weren't included on the website. It's nice to know they'll work with us as individuals rather than just another paying customer. I definitely recommend looking into Doggy Haven for great priced grooming. I honestly can't speak of the other options they offer.yet.

I am writing this review for the grooming at Doggy Haven! I originally had came here on a online deal which due to the amazing service, friendliness of the staff, and clenliness of the facility we have became returning customers of this amazing facility! For price Doggy Haven beat our previous groomers. Which is impressive due to the quality of service that we received! Our mini Aussie couldn't be happier!
