They have watched our dog a few times and we are super happy with this place. The staff is friendly and did an amazing job taking care of our dog Zeus. When we picked him up my dog smelled so good. They washed and cleaned him before we got there. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. They are so caring and CeCe really likes it there. Only 1 time so far but really enjoyed meeting them. They gave us great advice for our labradoodle tummy problems. Thank you!

My dog had his first day at Shores Kennels yesterday and I can already tell this place is going to be an absolutely perfect fit for him! I love all the open space they allow for the dogs, I can tell that all of the staff are genuinely concerned with the dogs' wellbeing and happiness, and they are very flexible and easy to work with for scheduling. Compared to other daycares around the area, I could tell my dog was excited to go to Shores Kennels as soon as we pulled in the driveway yesterday morning. Thank you!

This place is Amazing! Donna and her staff always is ready to run the extra mile for the good of the Dogs. My husband and I Travel to see our family out of town and left our two dogs with Donna. She was amazing, she treated our smallest dog Pippa like her own dogs. Pippa is very shy around strangers and other dogs but Donna went the extra mile in making her feel comfortable.

Our bigger dog, Baloo is more outgoing and had the chance to meet other dogs and interact with them, he was playing all the time. We are very happy with their service, at the time of pickup our dogs looked very happy, clean and in good conditions. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place. They will take care of your baby.

Shores Kennels takes the stress out of leaving our dogs when we go out of town. They get the best care, the playtime and amount of space they have to run is wonderful! The kennels are newly renovated and a great place for the dogs to lay their heads. The first and second time was hard leaving them but after seeing how much fun they have while there, we know they are in good hands! SO lucky to have found Shores Kennels for our boarding needs. Donna of Shores Kennels is an angel on Earth. In March 2017, she saved 3 lives when an EMT/former police officer was faced with the possibility of having to surrender his two best friends to the Humane Society. Tons of people shared the story in an attempt to save the dogs from a shelter. Donna stepped up and took the dogs in with no money up front.

She's still boarding them & taking exceptionally good care of them. She posts lots of pics of the dogs on Facebook so that their human can see them and bridge this time apart. She has received very little money so far, from fundraising efforts. When Donna first contacted me, she said she was doing this because she would hope that someone would do the same for her if she were in that position. If it weren't for her, 3 lives would've been destroyed. Literally. God bless this woman & staff. Thank you!

Staff is very friendly and was very helpful in meeting my needs. My dog requires medication and special care and they were able to provide her with her unique needs. When I picked her up from her stay she didn't want to leave. I will definitely be boarding her here in the future.

My husband and I took out 9 month old puppy to Shores Kennel for a day of play time and grooming. Worst experience ever! Grooming staff was inexperienced and unable to complete a simple bath with nail trim. I tried calling the kennel several times throughout the day to check on my dog, and no one answered the phone all day- I kept getting voicemail. Will never return or recommend this place to any animal parent- EVER!

We love Shores Kennel our dog Sully enjoys running around with the other dog during his stay. We like how they post pictures on their Facebook page so we can see what he is up to while he is as we call it Sully's spa vacations.

We took our 2 Russian Toy Terriers here at the last minute, over a holiday weekend, and they were very flexible and helpful. The dogs loved running around and were really treated well. I would highly recommend Shores Kennels.

We brought our dog there approximately 2 years ago so this is kind of a late review and things may have changed since then. However, when we picked up our dog from this kennel his nose was all scraped up and scabby. Apparently, he had been placed in the last kennel and was trying to see what was going on outside so he continually rubbed his nose up against the gate, as we were told. I'm just not sure why he was not moved to another kennel or brought in. We typically do not use kennels and will definately do more research next time.

We have used Shores Kennel a number times with absolutely no issues. Our American Bulldog is 130 lbs. so accommodating him based on his size can be challenging. They've always listened to our instructions (medicinal, walks, diet) and contrary to the previous poster, have been incredibly friendly. Cost-wise I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary and they seem competitive with other kennels in the area. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs to board their four legged friend.

My wife and I left our dogs there for two days the weekend we got married and when we picked them up Sunday morning and took them home we noticed they were infested with fleas. The night prior to taking them there we gave them baths and they were flea free. When I called to let them know of this, the lady who answered immediately got rude and defensive by saying that in 24 years they have never once had a flea problem and that the staff gives each and every dog a quick look over to make sure they don't have fleas prior to check-in.

She then went on to say that it is impossible for a dog to get fleas in two days, but right after that she said they (her staff) probably didn't check my dogs which totally negates what she just said. Also to prove my point on the incompetence of the staff, they tag your dogs with a named collar for identity purposes. I pointed out each of my three dogs to them multiple times so they knew which one was which and they still tagged them with the wrong name collars.

If they can't get something as small as that right who's to say they don't overlook other things such as fleas? Also beware of the little extra hidden fees. When we requested a quote we got an email that outlined the per day price for our dogs and when I dropped them off they added on roughly $25 extra for "processing fees". When I questioned those charges the lady got a bit rude with me and stated they were charges to place the above mentioned identity collars on the dogs for my protection and theirs. I will never board my dogs with them again and the BBB will definitely be hearing from me as well about this.
