You will learn how to train your dog using positive motivation. We are situated just outside Memphis, Tennessee in NE Shelby County. Training is a pleasure year round in our air conditioned/heated indoor training facility. At Hideaway Farms we trust that obedience training and agility training should be fun for the dog and the owner.

Obedience Report

Obedience training helps you and your dog in many ways. Training helps you to establish your role as the leader of your household "pack." Training also establishes a line of communication between you and your dog. Teaching a few simple commands that your dog can respond to, and then be rewarded for his proper response, will begin the foundation of understanding and communication for a lifetime relationship.

Class Schedule Report

Private lessons are available and sometimes better for any problems you may have/need to work on. Call for info. This class is for puppies and young dogs. We teach all the basic behaviors using very positive methods.how to use treats properly and how to wean off of treats properly. This class is for dogs that have completed the basic beginner class.

Instructor Report

I have been training and showing dogs in obedience trials since 1984. I have put many titles on different breeds of dogs in the American Kennel Club (AKC), the United Kennel Club (UKC) and the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). The most respected and honored title is the Obedience Trial Championship or OTCH.

Seminars Report

Explanation of the individual stations as well as how to perfect the performance of each station. Advanced Workshop here at Hideaway Farm. Refine your handling and polish your dog's heeling, fronts/finishes, etc. Problem solving all open & utility.
