Bartlett Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers The only "cage" your dog might see here is the crate he or she will sleep in at night, if you bring one for your dog. Most Memphis area kennels won't allow pet pick-up or drop-off on Sundays. Most Memphis area kennels won't allow pet pick-up or drop-off on Holidays (so you pay for an extra day that you wish you had your dog). Some Memphis area "doggie hotels" actually charge you EXTRA for playtime on top of their already ridiculously high prices. Obviously, absolutely no aggressive dogs allowed (we have a simple test, before we let your dog stay with us).
Services
We've been Bartlett residents since 1976, and lifetime owners and carers of pets. That's Sheila pictured above with Princess, Sebastian and Lindsey, (all adopted from the Bartlett Animal Shelter). We started this business because we love dogs (cats, too). Since we retired from "jobs" early (or so we thought), we decided we could use extra income (exercise too!); logically this was the ideal business for us.
Most all of 38135, 38134, 38133 and parts of 38002, 38128, 38018, 38016, We sometimes go outside these limits, but a mileage surcharge applies. Normally there's no extra charge for "MULTIPLE CATS", or feeding rabbits, turtles, fish, hamsters, gerbils, etc. depending on your circumstances. DISTANCE SURCHARGE - Usually add $1 per mile per visit for each mile over 6 from us.
We board a limited number of dogs to stay at our private 4 acre "Canine Country Club". We have huge fenced areas where your dog runs free and plays with other "guests" and our resident "host dogs". We have several fenced areas so only dogs compatible with each other are together. Your dog gets to be a "DOG", meeting new friends, socializing, and being in a "pack". When not out playing your dog lives in a comfortable 10' x 11' (A/C or Heated) ROOM in our barn, usually with a very compatible "friend" or two.
Our biggest problem is not knowing of another place like this to recommend when customers call and we're booked up. Our fees for day care and overnight stays are so reasonable we're proud to print them on our home page. 8:30am - Out to the pasture for another 20 minutes or so playtime & exercise, and back in to rest.

If I could rate no stars at all, I would. To Bartlett Pet Sitters - I do not appreciate whatsoever the way it seems you treated my dogs while they were in your care. Memphis having a TICK on his eye and you saying you didn't even CHECK to see what it was when you knew something was in his eye? Ridiculous and unacceptable. I asked you multiple times this week how Tilly was doing with eating and taking her medicine and you refused to answer my questions, so it now leads me to believe you did not take care of her at all. Also, the way you spoke so negatively of her the whole week and to my face when we just picked them up leads me to believe that you treated her poorly.

She is a very good and well behaved dog who is medically anxious and that was something you were told more than once. The fact that I had to ask for their food and we had to come back for their bowls is also ridiculous. It also bothers me how oddly they were acting when we picked them up. Memphis had no emotional reaction whatsoever, which is highly unlike him, and Tilly would not stop uncontrollably shaking.

You claim to run a business but it seems you are actually just half way baby sitting dogs instead of actually taking care of them. We will not come back and we are EXTREMELY unsatisfied, upset, and angry.

We have used Bartlett Pet Sitters for years and have had a great experience. Our pups love spending time there because they have lots of fun and are treated like family. Highly recommend.
