Wolf River Retrievers is a full time retriever training facility located 35 miles North East of Memphis. It is convenient to Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas. Wolf River Retrievers is owned and operated by Chris Christopher. His passion for duck hunting and success with dogs led Chris to devote himself to the the full-time training of retrievers.He is dedicated to all aspects of training games; hunt test and field trials alike. Chris knows what it takes to have a great hunting companion who is obedient in the duck blind and listens in the field.

Chris loves dogs that love to retrieve and he will use training techniques to encourage and teach confidence, obedience, success, and reliability. Most importantly, Chris will promote your dog's natural desire to retrieve. All dogs have different learning styles and paces. Chris will work with your dog to meet its individual needs and to accomplish the goals you have for your retriever.
Wolf River Retrievers is located 35 miles North East of Memphis, TN. It is a full time training facility on 68 beautiful acres with access to thousands of acres across the state of Tennessee. Dogs are boarded in safety and comfort in a 55 x 35 foot covered kennel, with electricity, water and industrial fans.
I can attest to my experience with the services offered by Chris Christopher. In the spring of 2006, I purchased a lab pup in hopes of training my next gundog/hunting companion. With all of my prior hunting dogs classifying as "meat dogs" who were only steady to shot and were capable of multiple marked retrieves, I decided that "Ace" was going to be a "handling" dog.
