Within 45 minutes, during his evaluation, Ryan showed me how to help my very reactive terrier go from out of control to paying attention to me. If I weren't present for the entire session, I wouldn't have thought it possible. What a relief for me and my dog.

My daughter Darla Diamond went to a 3 week board and train here and a puppy class. She is almost perfect. I can take her anywhere and she is a polite well behaved lady that I'm super proud of. Even my boy who has a strong dislike of some people completely ignored a group of construction workers today. We walked right next to a construction worker today.

About a foot away. Only a person who has lived with a reactive/aggressive dog or bickering dog siblings would know what a hell it is and Ms Darla would have been sent to live with my sister which would be terrible. My only regret is I should have put him completely through the board in train as a puppy because they do not accept intact dogs. I'm considering getting his genetic material frozen and him neutered just so he can go here. Its clean. The pens are big. They don't have dog fights because they have to be pre-approved and its indoor/ outdoor. Ryan and Elisa are top notch.

We are officially 2 months post our month long board and train and I can't say enough about this training facility. Our dog, Raider, is a very stubborn American Bully with quite a few quarks which has earned him a very poor reputation amongst our community and friends. Raider spent a month with Ryan and now goes on daily off leash walks with me and my toddler.

I am completely in control of Raider and he is getting the life he deserves. I was a little nervous about signing up for such intensive training because I didn't want him to be overtrained and lose his personality, but his level of obedience is exactly what we had hoped for. Awesome program! Elisa was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had. I had a lot too. I would recommend Alert K-9 over any other training companies. I waited for three months to get into a class with them as I did not want the run of the mill PetSmart or Petco bs training. I'd watched a few of both of their trainings and I couldn't believe how awful the instructors were engaging with the puppies. Alert K-9 came highly recommended and I'm glad I listened. Elisa was so wonderful with all of the pups, she was right on with all of the owners and teaching us 24/7. I can't recommend Alert K-9 any more!

Alert K-9 is by far the BEST place to take your dog for training. Ryan trains the owners too. He is patient, very knowledgeable and very kind. I took my now deceased lab there for training 10 years ago, was the best dog I've ever had! Now I've taken my new baby and already he's doing well. Can't recommend Alert and Ryan enough!

Ryan and his team are absolute gems at what they do. Both of our dogs have gone through their training classes and the time invested has paid off. They really aren't joking when they say they "train the owner" - so expect to get real with yourself and your pup. We have, so far, participated in the puppy training group class, day and trains, and daycare. All of which have been great and helpful. Our girls love going and have benefitted from their services. Just went for a consultation with Ryan for my aggressive dog. I learned alot in just a short amount of time. He showed me a of couple things on how to handle my unruly large dog. I can walk him now with no pulling. Before my hands would hurt from walking him because he's huge and it felt like I was the one being walked. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable. However, I was most compelled to write a review not solely about his knowledge but about his honesty.

My dog has been very aggressive for the past 3 years. He was realistic about what he observed and given my dogs history that he may always be aggressive but could definitely improve his obedience which would help me in alot of other areas. He also recommended that I find someone in my area that could work more often with me snd my dog (I'm an hour and 15 mins away from K9 Alert).

While I was there he reached out to a couple people in my area that he recommended. Very good experience. I would recommend anyone in the Brentwood area who needs help with their dog to definitely check this place out.

I simply want to warn people that this establishment DOES NOT follow COVID protocols and the owner Ryan and his staff do not wear masks. They were highly recommended but I was there twice and not one person wore a mask. Unacceptable. Period.

There are very few places I will trust with my dogs and Ryan and his crew are the best. He's the best trainer and the kennel is clean and comfortable for the dogs. My dog hate to leave!

Ryan and his team have made our puppy class dreams come true! He is a great trainer! Very down to earth and funny all while training you to be able to teach your dog. He's thorough in each class and very knowledgeable about all breeds! I HIGHLY recommend him and his facility. We will definitely be back for continuing training and building on the foundation he has taught us to have a happy and healthy pupper!

This place is the absolute best! Not only do you do learn things to do with your dog they end up teaching you new things about yourself to handle your dog better. I highly highly recommend this business. I appreciate everyone there for all their time and efforts they put in to help us pet parents be better for our pups.

Ryan and his team do an amazing job and seem to truly care about what they do. Our dog has only been a few days and already showing signs of his bad behavior going away.

We were afraid we might have to re-home our 4 year German shepherd because of her increasing behavioral issues. We weren't able to get into a class for about a month due to COVID restrictions, but Sarah (I believe) gave us multiple training suggestions to help us in the meantime which really meant a lot! They seriously care about helping people and their pets.

On our first day of group training, we arrived early and our dog was already misbehaving. We were worried that she wouldn't be able to stay in the group class, but Ryan took his time to work with her before class even started so that she would be able to stay in group classes. In just those 10 minutes we already saw a difference in her attitude. Again, this meant a lot to us!

We are coming up on our last class, and her behavior has improved immensely. It's amazing to be able to take her on walks and have no pulling/barking. We will be forever grateful to Ryan and his team for making it possible to keep our dog in the family! We are looking forward to continuing education with Alert K9!

I highly recommend Alert K-9! Ryan and his team are amazing! We have a young golden retriever. After our initial assessment with Ryan we opted for 4 weeks Board and Train due to our schedule. We have 2 small children so this seemed to work best for us. During the 4 weeks we received updates on progress. On pick up day it was absolutely amazing to see how far our boy has come.

Our lives have completely changed for the better. Before training we were living in complete chaos. Ryan has given us the tools we need to keep moving forward. We will continue to use Alert K-9 for continuing education/training, boarding and daycare. I honestly can't thank them enough. Amazing team!

Our Bentley has been going to Ryan and the great Alert K9 staff for 8 years now. He goes for everything. his favorite is daycare! Ryan is the BEST trainer, and it is up to the Owner to make sure to keep her dog in check : Bentley and Ryan will both agree! I tell everyone about how much we love daycare, training and of course boarding!

We really enjoyed our class with Sarah. We met in pet food express parking lot and she was very attentive to every puppies needs. We came out of class with plenty of information and training to be the best trainer for our pup!

I would highly recommend this place. Ryan is a dog whisper when it comes to knowledge of knowing your four legged buddy. I took my dog Smokey there for a month long training session. It is such an appreciation to be able walk my dog with ease. I feel confident he will not run away and he understand the commands.

We have used Alert K9 since our dog was a puppy. She is now 6 years old. We have used training, day care, and boarding. Very happy with the staff and management of Training Center.

We brought our 2yr old GSD straight from the shelter and he needed a great deal of help with his manners. After a consult with Ryan we decided to do the 30 day board and train, Ryan took Duke and returned him the most well behaved dog I have ever met. He responds to commands immediately, his recall is amazing. If you call him while he's running off he stops immediately and comes right back.

You can say park it from a country mile and he'll drop to the ground. We are so pleased with the care Ryan and his whole staff took with Duke! Best decision we ever made. Duke is 4 now and still has all of the training that Ryan left us with! Thank you again for everything!

I can't say enough about Ryan and Alert K9 as a whole. We walked in feeling like our dog was out of control and left in 45 mins with some minor homework that change everything. Of course there's more to it and it's a process that we are still working on but I'm happy to say we have restored order back into our home with our fur babies. The daycare is a great way to socialize and Ryan takes time to see and evaluate each dog as often as possible. He just has a way with these guys and the owners . I'd highly recommend them!

We recently completed basic puppy training at Alert K9. Our experience was fantastic. Ryan and his team were extremely professional and have mastered the art of teaching puppies AND THEIR HUMAN PARENTS how to follow instructions. While this class is not a socializing with other puppies experience, we found that having our 5 month old Labradoodle around 13 other dogs, (ranging In size from tiny 4 lb breeds to very large puppies close to 100 lbs) was an added positive experience.

Our primary goal was to learn how to train our dog to walk on a loose leash, calmly by our sides without pulling. By the end of the class we had accomplished this challenging feat, along with several other new positive behaviors. We highly recommend puppy training with Ryan and will be back for continuing education very soon.

Wife forced me to take our 10lb shih tzu and I thought it was a lost cause as I didn't think little dogs were smart enough and based on age. Ryan is awesome and put us on track to correct some bad behaviors like barking at leaves, his shadow and pulling on the leash to name a few. Thanks again Ryan and team!

I have been so so so happy with the training we have done for our 6 month old shepherd mix. We started with Basic Puppy training and have moved onto continued education. We will be boarding our pup here soon as well. The understanding of the dogs thinking is like "magic". It is truly a gift, and I have been so happy with the investment we have made into teaching our pup to live up to his full potential.

I took my puppy here at about 5 months old, he is a rescue and half lab half Shepard. My biggest concern was I wanted him to listen and not run away or be a bolter out a door like my other dog in the past. Ryan is great! I purchased 3 individual trainings and we worked on the basic commands with the emphasis on name recognition and coming to me when I call him.

I love this place so much and all the people that work with my pup that I continue to bring him for their doggie daycare once a week, and also daycare and train once a week. He gets to see other dogs and the staff are always working with him even when he just there to play and not train. I highly recommend Ryan, he is so calm and very consistent. He knows how to get results.
