Comfy Critters Pet Sitting provides pet care in your home while you're at work, on vacation, or just gone for the day to play. I provide cat sitting, dog walking, pet sitting and Live In pet care. I do provide visits for other pets as well, as long as the animal is non-aggressive. I am committed to providing a happy and healthy environment in your home for your pets while you are away.
Services
An initial consultation is required for all new clients. I will come to your home to meet you and your pets. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and ask or answer important questions. At this time I will be asking information needed to properly care for your pets. You will also need to fill out all necessary paper work and supply me with a key to your home. In your home cat visits provide TLC, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medication as needed (no shots) and cleaning Litter box.
Shari has been caring for my 2 kitties for the past 2 years and we (and they) have never had a better pet sitter. She is absolutely reliable, and the cats love her. In fact, we can tell how much they iike her by the way they behave when we get back - they are so calm and happy that it's like we never left!

Shari recently took great care of our cat Pumpkin while we were on a three week vacation. We have been using Shari's Comfy Critters Pet Sitting for several years now and have always been very happy with her services. When needed, Shari has also done a great job of watering our garden and lawn while visiting and feeding Pumpkin. If there is a conflict with our travel plans and Shari's schedule, she always has backup pet sitters to step in and help keep Pumpkin company and well fed. We highly recommend Shari and Comfy Critters for any pet sitting services.

Using Comfy Critters with Shari was the easiest decision a pet owner can make. She was very accommodating and exceeded my needs in watching my cats, as well as sharing her moments with them via her Facebook page. She also took great care of my house, and everything was in order as the way I left it. I came back to a very thoughtful "welcome back" note, as well as checking up on me returning on-time (if she needs to continue her visits). I was going to be away for 3 weeks over the holidays, so I needed someone to check on my cat, Softy. I picked Shari at Comfy Critters because she also has cats, and I can tell that she really cares about animals. She also has experience handling high-maintenance cats (old, sickly, or finicky), so I felt comfortable that she can handle my low-maintenance cat. Shari checked on Softy every other day, made sure she was well fed and had fresh water, maintained the litter, and kept tabs on her health for signs of sickness. Softy is pretty independent, though, so I wasn't expecting her to act out due to anxiety or worry herself sick.
On your scheduled return date, Shari requires that you contact her to let her know you arrive, otherwise she will assume you did not come home, and will continue to check on your pet until she hears from you. This is a good policy, especially if you are traveling because you can get delayed without email or cell phone reception to request to continue pet sitting. I gladly recommend Shari for your pet-sitting needs. She is professional, communicative, and most importantly, a lover of animals!

Okay, I'll admit it; I had a hard time relaxing on vacations because I'd worry if all my "babies" were taken good care of while we were gone. That changed about 7 years ago when we found Shari. We've finally found someone who is reliable and whom we trust in our home to take care good care of our animals. She even texts me after her visits and will send us a picture or two of our cats being pampered to ease my mind. Finally, I can stop worrying and enjoy our vacations!

I really can't say enough about how good Shari is. First, she came over and met our two adorable cats Maggie and Lola, spending some time getting to know them and our home so that she could give them effective care. Then, she communicated really well over text and email as we got closer to our trip away. Next, she cared for Maggie and Lola like we would--playing with the cats, feeding them and interacting with them. Best of all, when we came home Maggie and Lola were happy and healthy! I wish there were 10 stars to give Comfy Critters! I have four dogs and three cats. My dogs are senior citizens and most require medication or special attention, and one of the cats has long term renal failure. They all love Shari's daily visits. Shari is absolutely on top of how each animal is doing every day. If someone isn't feeling well or is off their food - I get a call or a text.
If there are any concerns or questions, I can count on Shari making sure I'm aware of them. There are always notes written about how the kids are when I get home at night. I never have to worry that Shari is going to miss something. The bottom line is that Shari is absolutely amazing. I've worked for Washington's top Animal Welfare organization for the past eight years, and I've had a lot of exposure to many different pet sitters.
In my opinion, Shari and Comfy Critters are the best. She has great ideas to help make my menagerie of animals happier and more manageable. She takes the time to make everyone treat balls to play with when she leaves. When she leaves on vacation, she always makes sure that she organizes coverage for my animals so I don't have to worry about it.
When I asked the front office at my vet in Issaquah for a recommendation for a local pet sitter, the answer was unanimous: Shari from Comfy Critters. They said she is trustworthy, reliable, the animals love her and she gets excellent reviews. I have to agree with them on all counts. It was the best decision I could have possibly made for my animals and my peace of mind. Shari has provided daily walks for our two golden retrievers for the past two and a half years. Our oldest dog "Jack" was 12 weeks old and "KIta", our younger dog, was only 8 weeks old when Shari met them and began to provide care. We trust Shari explicitly and she has proven to be professional and exceptionally reliable. We also use her "live-in" service during our vacations so that our dogs are able to be in their own home and environment while we are gone which we find to be comforting versus alternatives.
Some might say animals are a good judge of character and based on how our dogs react to Shari it says a lot to me about how they care for her. I recommend Shari and Comfy Critters to anyone that needs some assistance or extra care for their loved pets.
