My pup loves the parkour classes, and the beginning obedience was very helpful!

If your dog is even remotely reactive, don't come here looking for help. Got kicked out on the first day of class because our dog was barking along with other dogs. New place new dogs is always tough on the first class. And the substitute trainer did not offer any insight or suggestions to help us maintain our dogs focus. The one star is for our full refund which I appreciate but outside of that, real sour taste in my mouth.

I love this place. My now 4-month old Golden Retriever Josie will be graduating from the STAR puppy program soon and she has excelled! Also, as a new dog owner, I have learned a great deal from this class, especially that dedication is everything. Not only that, but my bond with Josie (who has a very dominant personality) has strengthened deeply. We have signed up for another obedience course after puppy graduation! Can't wait to continue. it's been so rewarding.d

Diana Harris is an awesome instructor and dog handler. She uses positive training methods, reads dog body language like she can hear them thinking, understands the psychology of dog training in depth, is always on the side of the dog, has skills and training suggestions to aid even the most experienced handler, and loves her work. She has a straight forward, clear manner, is more than willing to help address tough issues, and explain the how's and why's of what she's teaching.

She has decades of experience to draw from, in many disciplines, and it shows. (My opinion is based on taking taking nose work, rally, and S.T.A.R. puppy classes from her and parkour from one of her team. I've had everything from a completely deaf dog, to an old guy, to a crazy puppy learn great skills from her. I've volunteered at shelters training dogs over two decades, had the opportunity to work with several other great trainers in our area, and even attend World Clicker Expo and learn from some of the best animal handlers worldwide.)

We love this place so much! They have everything you could need to give your dog a fulfilling and we'll behaved life. Our puppy whose taken STAR puppy and Intermediate Obedience is turning out to be a great dog. They are super knowledgeable, experienced and have creative approaches to different problems for individual dogs. We plan on teaching our dog agility there next!

Diana does a wonderful job. She helped us so much with our new puppy, even though he was crazy to start with. The classes are fun and really set you up to work with your dog at home.

Great instructors - so helpful and informative and nice. Lots of space to work and learn with your dogs. So far my puppy completed puppy obedience, then Basic obedience and it's making a world of difference - can't wait for the next levels - Thank you all!

Our puppy took the STAR puppy class and now he's in the agility classes. This is his favorite place in the world. He whines and cries at the door on agility days because he's so excited to go to class. All of our classes have had opportunities to work with your dog around other people and dogs off leash. It has done wonders for our communication, bond, and his responsiveness even in high distraction environments.

The staff is highly knowledgeable about dogs, and I have seen his agility skills grow so quickly with Doug. It's been so great for our puppy's confidence. He gets the chance to exercise his mind and body. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to work with their dog.

Started training recently, but my wife and I love this place. The trainers don't treat dogs like objects, they treat them with respect and recognize they have their own thoughts and feelings. They focus on building confidence and trust between you and your dog, so when you ask them to do something, they'll listen because they want to, not because you're forcing them to. After we finish puppy training, we'll definitely be back for more classes!

The trainers seemed to do a very good job. However, as one other review noted, they do not call you back. I received possibly a couple call-backs in several months and finally had to conduct my questions via email. I brought this up to the instructor, who verified that "email is best for THEM." In beginner class, my puppy never learned how to "heel." I did miss one class but I understand they taught tricks during that class.

They also taught tricks in the last class. Tricks have their place, I suppose, but I personally would have much preferred learning real obedience techniques; I can figure out tricks on my own time. Also, for the record, this is my only experience with dog training and have no other experience to gauge this one with, so I hope my review is fair.

I took my one year old puppy to Seattle Agility Center for obedience training and the results are fantastic. We learned important skills including sit, stay, come and walking on the leash. The approach used by Seattle Agility is positive reinforcement, which I appreciated. On one occasion my puppy and I were the only students to show up to class. Dianne patiently sat with me and answered all of my questions about my puppy's behavior, gave me a lot helpful tips and then gave us a private lesson. I highly recommend Seattle Agility Center.

I am currently enrolled in Star puppy class at Seattle agility center, which is a 12 week program. I have a Belgium Malinois puppy. This is a very highly driven and very intelligent dog. I feel that Diana and her staff are amazing in their knowledge of how to train dogs as well as training doggy parents to be responsible dog owners. They train you to work with your specific breed of dog, all dogs are different and need to be trained to bring out the best in your dog. I will be taking more classes with Seattle agility center!. They are truly amazing!

I've been taking my French bulldog to the Agility Center since May 2012 and have worked with all the trainers (or at least 4). They are all great and focused. It's all about building confidence in yourself and your dog and having fun along the way. Diana and Doug are awesome and I look forward to building up our skills so maybe one day we can compete! If you're interested in Agility - THIS IS THE PLACE!

We just finished Agility 101 at Seattle Agility Center. The instructors were very patient and supportive of our pack of fearful dogs. They took the time to work with each dogs individual issues. Our dogs have gained confidence and are more balanced, even outside of classes. The practice arena is enclosed and huge. The equipment is safe and well maintained. Prices are affordable. It is well worth the drive to Maple Valley. We plan to continue with classes!

I have taken agility classes with Seattle Agility Center for some time. I love the instructors and my dogs are having a lot of fun. I also take Nose Work classes and am getting ready to compete with my dogs in this sport. This sport is amazing and so much fun for the dogs and handlers. They have classes for all levels of dog with many class times and dates to meet peoples schedules.

I am sorry that you drove so far for a practice session. I was there that evening. The website is very clear in that practice sessions are only for students enrolled in classes. I really don't think that you should say something derogatory about a business, because you didn't read the infomation correctly or give them a call. I have know the owners a very long time and I have an elite agility dog and a puppy starting out. They are very good and very fair!

I drove out here of one of the open practice sessions it took 1.5 hours from seattle because of traffic, when I got there because I am not currently enrolled in classes I was sent away They did not alow us to run any courses because of insurance issues. I know that you have your policies but I wont be driving back out. there are better places in the area.
