Wash Your Dog

I have visited this place 2x. I wash my 2 large dogs and it has always been a great time. I needed a little help with clipping some nails, no problem. My 2 dogs came out looking super fluffy and feeling great. Very friendly staff that is willing to work with my really anxious dog. Lots of shampoo options and very knowledgeable on several skin conditions to help your pup feel good while also look good.

My dog Ceres (pit bull) and I weren't sure what to expect but, we had a great experience. The place was clan and neat and since it was our first time the groomer walked us through each step. I would definitely go back.

Best groomer in the area! Patient with the dogs, does a great job. Be sure to tip her! She really cares about each puppy!

Experience at it finest. Kind ppl who care about your dog. My lil homeless pups were found in a trash bag and Carla was the best to them. The owner is fabulous and the volunteer from Alter held them all the time!

A great experience. Glad I found this place. This was the only local self service dog wash I could find locally but I guess when you have one this good you really don't need anymore. Two thumbs up.

The owner is great with the dogs and very helpful. It was our first time at a groomer. Bella enjoyed her blueberry facial scrub!

Pleasant employees to help with the wash. The supplies were pretty good. I wish they had a deshedding shampoo. It was a little pricy I thought but it is nice to leave all their fur there

So happy to have found this place, listened to me about what I wanted, treated my dog so kindly and professionally, and provide a near stress free environment for my timid, fluffy girl. Will absolutely continue to bring my dogs here, Darlene is the best!

I love this place. Always helpful. Always ready. The store people know there stuff and can advise what shampoos to use for just about any dog. Our two dogs tolerate it enough and they offer other services.

For many years I washed my dogs in our bathtub. That was fine, until we adopted a beagle shepard puppy mix. Once he was adult sized, he was impossible to keep in the tub at home, and we both ended up soaked. I love the self service at Wash Your Dog. It is an affordable option, that doesn't kill my back, we are able to get in and out quickly, and my pup leaves smelling good.

My dog is very active, and is outside in off leash settings often, so it is not unusual for him to get dirty and need a bath at least once a month if not more. I also have a very social dog. He goes to the park and doggy day care, and the possibility of briefly being able to play with other dogs running around the space is a positive for us. He actually enjoys going to Wash Your Dog and trots right in, even though he doesn't actually like the bathing part. I can see how that might not be the right fit for everyone, but for us, it is part of the appeal.

We took our senior dog in to the Shroyer Road location to use the self serve dog wash. There were several dogs loose that came up to greet our dog. No problems but it was a little intimidating for our dog. He is very arthritic and has bad hips and cannot do more than a couple of steps. What was really surprising is they had slick vinyl or laminate flooring everywhere including the 5-6 steps our dog had to go up to get to a platform before then having to go down into the tub.

There was absolutely NO non slip treads on the stairs and our dog was slipping and could not get up without us basically holding him the entire way up. Then we had to lift him down into the tub where once again there was no rubber mat or anything to keep him from slipping. We then had to lift him out of the tub and put him down on the floor as there was no way we were going to try those slick steps again.

We could not get him out of there fast enough and will NEVER go back. Why the owner would not have treads or mats to keep a dog from slipping to prevent an injury is beyond me even if it is not a senior dog. I would avoid this place at all costs!

Absolutely do not take your dog here. Took my dog for a simple nail trim. The first time they had misplaced equipment and only cut didnt file his nails. Charged me full price. Second time the cut them to short and he was whining in pain. Then filed them squarley not roundly. Had a friend take his dog in for there full grooming service. Paid close to 60$ for a wash/fur removal only.

Same poor quality on the nails too. Only did a few on the many things listed on the full service grooming. But the guy working there was quick to point to the tip jar. Just low quality. Could have bought a pair of nail clippers for what they charged to do the nails and could have just done it myself

Wonderful place! Normally my dog Molly is very nervous around other dogs but the environment was so nice and calm even though several other dogs were also there. The guy that set us up was super nice and played with all the dogs while he was walking around and they all loved it. Very well priced and clean which are huge pluses in my book! Highly recommend to anyone who is tired of fighting with their dog in the bathtub at home!

We had a great experience with the professional groomer at Wash Your Dog. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and cut our pup perfectly. We also loved that he was able to hang out with the other dogs there while he waited for us to pick him up. We'll definitely be back!

Best self service dog wash I've ever been to! Everything was nice and clean and they couldn't make washing your dog any simpler. They also have tons of accessories like poo bags so you can shop local for pet accessories too.

Today is my Black Labs 13th Birthday! We decided to give his a spa day (for lack of a better term) The young lady working today was fantastic. She was beyond accommodating and helped my wife and I tremendously throughout the process. She also successfully clipped his nails for us. (Huge Bonus) Now my dog no longer resembles Freddy Krueger! I loved her commitment to customer service.

She really did go above and beyond in my book. I highly recommend when looking to make your pooch look squeaky clean that you consider this location first. Thanks for helping make our best friend a little extra handsome for his birthday!
