Amazing self service dog wash. Super friendly staff and a good selection. A little more costly then some pet supplies but not at all outrageous.

Bought some dog harnesses from here & the young girl was very helpful. Another girl helped us with some dog food & she was also helpful. Nice clean store good variety of various pet supplies. We are definitely returning.

They have a pet scale and full washing facility. Lots of goodies for my dog to choose. Very cool!

We live in MD where there are no Chow Hounds (can you imagine). Whenever we visit Grand Rapids we pay a visit, pick up pet supplies &, most important, use the self serve dog wash for our chocolate labs. They're happy (well, maybe not so much) and we're happy.

Closest pet store to my house but with no fish supplies at all. like I'm telling you a 5,000 ft building and they're using 10 ft for tropical fish. There's 6 ft of shelving area that is 20% full of stock. I don't understand because I know a lot of people have tropical fish. And everything else that they got there is mainly for cats and dogs. But you can get all that at meijer's right behind it for cheaper.

New puppy? Enjoy this relaxed environment with your new puppy and stock up on food, treats and toys. Give them a bath even. Found the perfect leash for this little guy. Thanks for allowing me to shop with my new best friend.

I've been a frequent shopper at Chow Hound since 2007. Their staff is helpful and friendly. I appreciate that they do free same day/next day (dependant on when you place your order) local delivery on in stock items. The selection of dog food varieties covers pretty much anything we could need. I was glad when they added their Cottonwood location so it's between my home and work. Also the dog wash stations in many of their stores are great if you don't have a tub at home or if you've got an extra large doggo.

Picked up latter for birds PLAYHOUSE/gym.im constructing went back got basket.and crickets for giekos to eat.they load me up im a haft to start FARM.LOL

Leo has excellent customer service. He helped me pick out the perfect toys for my kitty Vader. 10/10 recommend. Give him a promotion.

I've been going here once a month to bathe my dogs at their self service station since July 2018. I never started experiencing any problems and was enjoying it until my last two visits. Last time I went into an available cleaning room and the tub was still filled with hair. I went to next station and after I bathed my pups I went to grab a towel and they all had stains all over them.

The brush I wanted to use still had another dogs hair clumped in it. I thought it would be a one time scenario but today I went in and the conditions of the available rooms were unacceptable. The first room I went into had hair all over the floor. The second room had two broken aprons, one with muddy paw prints on it and the other was covered in dog hair (as seen in photo.).

I went through about 7 towels to find one without these weird giant orange or black stains only to find the towel pictured. I would expect the towels to be clean and not have giant stains all over them. I like chowhound overall but after these last two visits I don't think I'll be going to bathe my dogs there again.

Decent selection & variety of dog foods, they do carry cat/fish supplies as well, but I was slightly disappointed on the lack of dog "treat" options I had. But for a smaller in town pet store it's great! They let me come in 5min before closing with zero complaints, (I had just drove 10hrs with my new pup) & i needed a few last min things for his first night.

The following day Allison helped me sign up for the rewards card & filled me in on the return policies etc. Her customer service skills are exceptional & made my experience a good one, thanks Allison!

Love the rewards program here. The staff is always very friendly. You can bring your puppers in with you too, if you want! They offer bathing stations for less than $12 which comes with, literally, everything you would need to bathe, pamper, and dry your dog (or cat?). Also they print tags there in store for about $6 and it takes less than 10 minutes. We got a neat one with a peace sign on it. Nash loves it!

I just left here. Very impressed! The staff here genuinely cares about animals, as well as helping people! I am getting a hamster for my two young sons to teach them pet responsibility, and I am in the research stages now. With so much information online, I wanted to actually talk to someone. Stacey helped answer my questions (I had a lot), and I will definitely be coming back in a couple days to get all of my supplies and possibly the hamster. Thanks again!
