We found this place when our dog had an emergency situation. They were able to see her that same day and gave her great care and attention, and answered all of our questions and eased our concerns. The treatments offered were great and very reasonably priced. Everyone there was very nice and helpful and we're glad we found this place!

My Maltese had been lethargic for a few days so I decided to take her there on an emergency basis. I called on a Friday and they told me that they could see her with a two hour wait, which I opted for. Great staff! I was also quoted an emergency fee. To my surprise, Dr. Kerr was able to see her in under 30 minutes. He identified what was causing her pain immediately and suggested CT scan of her back and head.

Her back was causing her pain and also her back teeth. He warned me about possible back surgery and some teeth extractions. I left her there overnight. To my surprise, they only charged me $80 for a walk in visit. They also gave me a printed cost of what it would maybe cost, low and to high end. I picked her up the next afternoon and they had refrained from back surgery and any extractions.

She's home with meds for a bit and doing great! The bill ended up to be on the very low end of the quote. He even gave me some free food that he thought would work well for her that I could purchase through Amazon. I highly recommend this place!

We trust our dogs to Dr. Kerr and his staff. They are kind, thorough, and make sure your per will be treated in the event an emergency visit is needed. They were recommended to me when we moved to Punta Gorda. And I highly recommend them to everyone!

I wish I knew about them sooner. I was originally referred to them for physical therapy for my labrador and I was immediately impressed with the office and staff but especially with Dr. Combs. The physical therapy was amazing and I decided to make them my primary vet for both of my my dogs. They take their time to thoroughly explain everything: diagnoses, medications, future care, etc.

They are compassionate for your animals' health and ensure all the steps are taken to make them better. One of my dogs has recently become a frequent flyer at the vet and after my poor experiences at his old primary and emergency hospitals, it has been very hard for me to trust anyone with his care. But those bad experiences help you appreciate top tier experiences. I can confidently say that this is THE BEST vet clinic you will ever go to.

Dr. Kerr is the best, he will tell you like it is. If you like sugar coating go somewhere else, if you like the hard truth regardless this is your place. I deal mainly with working dogs and he has gone out of his way to see to it that our needs are met.

We are beyond thrilled with this clinic! Words can not describe how grateful our family is for the help of Dr Combs and Burnt Store Animal hospital! Our 5 year old mini schnoodle was brought into see Dr Combs due to him having paralysis in his lower body. He did not have function of his back legs AT ALL before starting treatment with Dr Combs. We were told by a neurologist that our boy would most likely not walk again, and if he did, there was only a small 40% chance he would be able to move like a normal dog.

After only a couple sessions of acupuncture and laser therapy and despite the odds, our boy IS WALKING AGAIN! Not only that, he is moving and improving at an exceptional rate. Without Dr Combs help we would not have our happy, energetic, and super loving pup back! For that, we are SOO very grateful. We were able to get in on short notice with our newly adopted dog. Everyone was kind and helpful. Great care from the vet. All our questions answered and then follow up calls to check and see how the dog was doing. Very professional and caring.

I love this hospital! They always treat my dog (A 115 pound chicken) with kindness. Dr. Kerr is kind and knowledgeable. I have worked in vet med myself for the past 10 years and am a self proclaimed picky, "high maintenance" client yet they all take their time to speak with me and address all my concerns. My pup (Luna) broke her leg and when everyone else was turning us away they made time for us. Dr. Combs was very patient with me considering I was a mess. They even called today, the day after, to see how she is doing.

Our little Jack Russell got nuetered this week and is doing well. They were very caring for him. They use a post surgery jump suit, so no cone.

Dr Kerr and staff was the absolute best with care and creating our first time visit a great one. My grandmothers dog had surgery on his eye and Dr Kerr explained everything and really gave the compassionate care i was hoping for. Amazing staff, and excellent care. I had a last minute health certificate for a new patient cat and they were able to fit us in. I called 19 other pet clinics and no one was taking new appointments or able to do health certification- so thankful for their customer service and support.

I have been looking for a good vet for several years and I am so happy I found this place. Dr. Combs is a great vet. He showed my pup compassion and love the minute he walked in. He actually took the time to educate me and made my pup feel so comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and professional. An overall great experience

Dr. Combs, Dr. Kerr, and the staff are all amazing! The whole office is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Combs and Dr Kerr both took the time to draw pictures and explain my dog's injury and the surgery process. Every time I call or email, I have a very quick response. My dog isn't scared to go in the office or in the rooms. She actually gets excited! I really can't express how much they have helped me and my sweet girl.

Dr Kerr and staff were great, very attentive and loving towards pets. Dr. Kerr spent a long time with us during our initial visit getting to know our Spaniel, gave us sound advice as he transitions from pup to adult. Seems very knowledgeable and up to date, very hands on with his practice. He fees were reasonable. We feel comfortable using him as our vet.

Dr. Kerr and Erica are the best! I brought my two kitties in for check-ups. They noticed the bladder on my one kitty seemed a little odd. Dr. Kerr explained everything thoroughly, went over different options and how they could address it. So they ran a CT and realized it wasn't what he originally thought it may be. They gave the girls their booster shots - and now Ally has stopped her howling today! I can't believe how much better they are both feeling. Thank you, Dr. Kerr and Erica.
