Very friendly and accommodating, very clean, and they're open 24/7 with someone from the staff always there including overnight caring for the dogs. Very pleased!

We reserved a "Private Suite" for our 5lb Pomeranian for three nights. When we dropped her off we also dropped of her favorite Bed and Blanket. So she would be more comfortable. When we returned to pick her up they brought her out to us without her Bed and Blanket. When I asked for those items they pretended to not be able to find them. Then after about 10 mins they were brought out to us covered in large amounts of diarrhea.

I told them that there is no way that came from our dog she is only 5lbs. The employee told me that a large dog had gone to the bathroom all over her bed and blanket. I asked how that could happen since we had paid for a Private suite. The employee had no answer and did not even apologize. I left our saturated items there and will never return.

Our two Dachshunds love The Dog Resort. We take them a couple times a month for fun with others doggies. They come home tired.

We use the daycare service here and we love it! We decided to bring our dogs with us on our vacation and we are so happy we found The Dog Resort. The staff are very friendly and we love the report cards that they make at the end of the visit. Our dogs are always tuckered out and content at the end of each stay.

We are out of state visitors to the Ft. Meyers area and were looking for a pet resort for our 13 year old Havanese, "Bear" for 13 days. We talked to the people from The Dog Resort and were optimistic this was the place for our dog. Let me start by saying our dog has anxiety issues when "mom" is not with him. After dropping the dog off we felt comfortable calling after a week and one of the Dog Resort staff conveyed how well Bear was doing.

We called the day before notifying the "Dog Resort" we would be arriving around 10am and please have him ready. We arrived at 9:45 am to pick up our precious Bear. As they brought him out we noticed he was very subdued. We had left anxiety pills for Bear to be used only if needed. Let me just say we did not receive any of the pills back at the handoff.

The staff also did not have his bed, blanket, eye medicine, bowls, extra soft food in the cans, and on and on. The poor dog smelled so bad from pee that he was almost unbearable to be around. The presumed owner asked if we still wanted to have him bathed and at first I was so mad I declined the offer only to take him back in to do what they were suppose to have done before we got there.

As of this date we are still waiting for Bears meds to be shipped back to us AT OUR COST. I'm not sure if our Bear was treated differently than the local resident dogs but I can assure you we will never be back after all this. Our dog has still not recovered to the once happy, lovable companion we left with this group of sitters. I can personally confirm this resort IS NOT what the reviews state. Have an inventory of your items left at this or any other pet resort and hold the owner/staff to the quality you expect for your pet. Very pissed off owner.

I took my multipoo to this place for the first time. She had a long beautiful tail that we had let grow with just being trimmed, since she was a puppy. She had some mats in hair as long haired multipoos get around her neck and legs. I knew they would have to cut her hair short, nothing new to me. However they were told specifically to not cut the hair on her tail.

This place literally shaved all of the hair on her tail. When I called extremely upset about what they had done. All that girl who "groomed" her said is she had to shave it, because she is claiming it was matted. She is a liar! She stated that it is only hair and would grow back. How absolutely unprofessional. I asked her if it was that matted especially after expressing I did not want it cut, why didn't she call?

No instead she stated, she should not have to call and discuss with me what she does with my dog. Who in their right mind thinks that is appropriate? I can tell you, it sure is not me! I will NEVER take my dog back there again! I should have just waited until my groomer in the Cape had an appointment. This girl Ariana or whatever her name is.should not be grooming dogs!

She not only made my dog look absolutely hideous, but has no remorse what so ever for what she did! I added 2 photos, the first is what they did to my dog. The hair on her head is all choppy. The second is the last time she was groomed 5 months ago and she still has her long tail and was cut short. No comparison!

Buddy loved his visits! Nothing like this in my area. He is coming back any time I'm in town! Bathing was fine. Will try more services as time allows.

I absolutely love this place! My dog Dudley is almost 15 years old and has some issues, but I am always confident leaving him here with no worries! He loves it there and they genuinely love my dog! He's stayed for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Best place he's ever been to! Very very flexible hours which I appreciate and great rates.

The kind and attentive staff put us at ease and our puppy, too. He had a great experience and was never fearful or left alone, even at night. I highly recommend the Pet Resort and we are so glad our neighbor recommended it to us!

The Dog Resort is always accommodating and helpful with whatever our pup needs. All the workers are super kind and treat our puppy with lots of love and affection. I always feel comfortable when we drop him off that he will be safe, have fun and come home tired : we are so so appreciate of this business!

This doggy day care and boarding is the best in town hands down. Our Dog is obsessed. Anytime we say "daycare" she goes nuts. She has the best time there and they take amazing care of all the pups!

This is the best doggy daycare in our area. Our dog runs to the door when we tell him we're going to see his friends- lol. Staff are so sweet and make me feel like my dog is the best dog in the world. Our dog has stayed overnight several times and when we pick him up he is exhausted from having so much fun, no issues. Highly recommend this place.

I come here to see Amy for Doggy Dental. She does an amazing job without using anesthesia. I have such a difficult time brushing my yorkies teeth but Amy gets all the plaque off in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend her!

Brought my dog in for the week of Christmas. She has separation anxiety and I left specific instructions regarding this. She has been there in the past, so they are aware of her issues. They didn't follow instructions and she ate her bed due to anxiety. She also wasn't eating much. I would think they should have contacted me since they had my cell number.

When I called in to check on her the person on the phone laughed that she ate her bed. I requested to speak to the manager. All she could say is they should have done better. We made the change half way thru her stay to keep her with the pack at night. When I returned to pick her up they had no notes in the file of any of the issues. In fact they were going to charge me for private suite sleeping until I had them phone the manager. Complete lack of communication! Place smells bad too. We will not be returning.

We recently started using this facility for doggie day care and just picked our dog up from a week of vacation. I was initially skeptical of cage-less boardings, but after getting her used to it during day care, it worked out well. We also had a suite for evenings to give her some separation time. Our dog was a bit assertive with other dogs, but this definitely helped.

When we came to get her today, I watched her on camera just walking around the other dogs, as calm as could be. We will definitely use The Dog Resort moving forward. Very reasonably priced as well. Very friendly staff and well organized.

I would not even give a 1. My roof was being replaced and I thought it would be human to take my dogs out of the house for the days while I am at work. I called on Saturday to reserve time for Tuesday through Friday. I arrived on Tuesday to be stressed out and told "no one knew of me because nothing was written down". The girl I talked to finally arrived and told me I selected Monday.

I knew full well I didn't say Monday. I left my dogs albeit choiceless because I had to go to work. I got a call saying one of the two needed a vaccine and couldn't go any further. Made arrangements with my vet to squeeze me in and thought it was all good. Then another staff member presumably the owner told my son I needed to call. I called and was told there was no room to do their "evaluation" until Friday.

I tell you the woman COULD CARE LESS about what I was told and by whom. With this much shoddiness I would caution about leaving your dog with them. An owner who cannot stand behind an employees mistake, an owner who would rather have dogs subject to loud roofing and banging? This is not a humane person at all. And the icing on the cake was when I told them I only needed 4 days of daycare, I received the loudest sigh, like I had wasted their time. Doesn't a good business woman realize that if I'm overly impressed and happy with a first experience, I'd come back? Truly truly appalling.

You read the unprofessional note your staff member wrote. Thank you for the unused days refund. She has been at another day care twice this week and is very content there. If you see past post I am not the only one who feels they have been kicked out. Golden puppies have a lot of energy and I told two of the staff members to call her name say target to get her refocused. I hope the best for you but report card and no communication with dog owner parents isn't really a discussion.

I love this place. I have a 2 year old, 4 lb yorkie that, yes I am overprotective with. I knew she needed her teeth cleaned but I didn't want her put under. I talk to people about non anesthetic teeth clean and had mixed feeling. I was very apprehensive on our way, but when she met me at the door and calmly took Daisy in her arms I knew this was going to be great. When I came to come pick her up, Daisy was asleep in her arms. Nothing else mattered. It was a wonderful experience and we will go back for all services.

Dogs came home very thirsty and smelled even though they said they had a bath. One dog had broke out with sores all over her body. Too many dogs there. Need to set a limit of how many small and large dogs they take per day and for boarding. Most staff friendly but some are rude.

My family and I care into town from the northeast for a few months and are here with our two cats and sweet Golden Retriever Perry. We wished to find a good reputable daycare to maximize social time for Perry and visited with a few well reviewed daycares within the area. The Dog Resort truly stood out to us for multiple reasons, 1. We found wonderful caring staff here from day 1 to 3 months later!

The staff truly loved Perry and helped to shape him into the wonderland dog he is! From Gayle the owner to Syndee, Angela, Matt, Michelle, the list goes on. 2. If you bring your dog in for grooming, the groomers do a great job here! 3. The hours are fantastic here! 4. Dog Resort sells high quality dog and cat food! A++++++ Stellar service all around!

Being new to the area, I went in to ask for a tour of the facility. The lady at the register responded with, "we don't give tours but you are more than welcome to look through our cameras." Looking through a camera cannot show pet owners cleanness and smells. I walked right out. I would not recommend this establishment.

The people who work here are kind. They have, on very short notice, accomodated a much needed bath after a very hectic outdoor -in sand, mud & grit- romp in the woods. I called around 730 & he was out of the tub and dry by 9. That's pretty nice if you ask me. There are a couple of people who work there who greet me as a friend, by name. I dont go there often but when I do the time it takes to get there is well worth it. I live about 40minutes away & pass up many dog grooming businesses along the way.

Our 9 Month old Hungarian Vizsla got kicked out of here yesterday after going for about 5 months. I don't want to write a long review so I'll keep short. First if you have a high energy Dog like a Vizsla don't go here. They don't understand the breed. Second they have 90-100 dogs there a day and give the dogs toys to play with, how many I don't know but toys don't belong with that many dogs, it caused problems with our puppy cause she was protecting one and the staff misinterpreted that as aggressive behavior. Thirdly, they are a bunch of liars.

They told us the problem was brought to our attention and it wasn't. There are a couple nice staff members and a couple snobby young girls who should be working at Mc Donald's than a Dog daycare. Find a Daycare that's smaller and not so many dogs.

My neighbor and I took our dogs here One dog for just a bath and one dog for haircut. The dog that got the bath didn't that clean when we picked her up and her fur didnt have the shine that she usual gets right after a bath The dog that got the haircut looked like a mess. We gave them specific instructions on the haircut and when we picked up the dog she looked like an amateur who had just started to learn shaved the dog. Blotches of short and long hair.

Her feet not trimmed. I had to take out my shears to trim her up when we got home. We had booked the appointment 4days in advanced on a day they said was slow. We were to drop her off at 9:30 and we actually arrived at 9:20. The groomer wasn't in yet but they assured us she would be done by 1 pm and they would call us. My neighbor was to pick up the dogs as I was going to be shopping down in Naples and would not be home until 4 pm.

Much to my surprise when t returned home the dogs were not home. I called the shop and they were just finishing the cut on our neighbors dog and she would be ready by 4:30. Off we went so we would be there by 4:30. Needless to say she was not finished when we arrived. When they finally brought her out all we wanted to do is get the dogs home. But wait.

When we walked outside both dogs pulled us over to the dog walk area and pooped and peed. I don't they took them outside the entire time they were there. I was so disappointed that I don't even go back there anymore to buy my dog food. I go to Little Paws Pet Bakery. Darlene the owner is great.
