We have boarded our two pointers here several times and are pleased with the care they have been given. The owners are very easy to work with and the prices are affordable too! They're not open on Sundays so you do have to budget that extra night of kenneling, but their prices are affordable enough that it's never been an issue for us and kind of nice to get one extra night at home before we pick them up! Definitely recommend Sleepy Hollow Kennels!

Our family has used Sleepy Hollow for our boarding needs for 40+ years and they are the best. Our dog's cannot wait to get back to party time at SH! We went to pick up a Lab years ago and she wouldn't leave, she was in the baby pool and quite comfortable! Johnny and Scott are terrific, caring and professional people who love the animals and it shows!

I was making a last minute trip out of town and explained I needed my pups groomed the next morning. The gentleman I spoke with was so sweet and understanding. I have an Alaskan Malamute/Golden Retriever mix who needed to be cut and another large dog who needed to be bathed. They did an excellent job and charged less for both than what other places had quoted for the one cut. I am very pleased with these guys and highly recommend them!

I have been taking my dog here for the last 3 years when we go on vacation, which is usually about 1 week. She has always loved going there, before we found SHK, she hated being boarded. Now she loves it, from the time I drop her off, to when I pick her up, she is happy. We get her bathed before pick up and she smells wonderful. I highly recommend them if you need a good, trusting, facility to keep your pet.

We have boarded our dog at Sleepy Hollow many times over the past two years. The owners love animals and they always take great care of our dog. He is happy when we drop him off and when we pick him up. That's a good sign! As for the one review that I read about the puppy being covered in pee and feces, that absolutely has never been the case for my dog.
The last time I dropped him off for the Thanksgiving holiday I asked if they could shave him before I picked him up (He sheds terribly in the fall). The owner said he would try, but they would be extremely busy with it being a holiday weekend. I was so happy to see that he made the time to accommodate my request. They do everything they can to keep the animals and customers happy. I highly recommend this kennel!

I brought my 4 month old American Bulldog to Sleepy hollow for a Friday to Monday stay. Would have been Friday to Sunday but they are not open on Sundays which forces you to pay for an additional unnecessary night of boarding- first negative. They charge $22 a day which was the only positive of my experience as this is the lowest price i have found in the area.
When I picked him up on Monday I found out why it was so inexpensive. My dog was covered (almost head to toe) in his own pee and feces. I am well aware that any grooming would have been an extra charge but i would have gladly paid it to avoid him having to tolerate this. As he is a puppy I am sympathetic to the fact that he still may have an accident from time to time while crated, but the personal care that they claim to provide, in my opinion, would include not letting the dog spend the weekend covered in his own feces.
He also had three of his nails that were split and frayed and it did not look like anyone tried to fix or correct this issue while he was there. Needless to say I will not be taking my dog to this place again.
