Aspin Hill Memorial Park Report

The Aspin Hill Memorial Park (AHMP) is owned by MCHS and dedicated to people's love for their pets, and pets' love for and loyalty to their owners. The eight-acre property provides a respite from the outside world in the center of Montgomery County and is open to the public year-round. With over 50,000 pets and people buried there, Aspin Hill is full, and no plots are available for sale.

Low-cost core vaccines Report

MCHS is pleased to now offer affordable vaccinations for cats and dogs at Hanna's Clinic located at 601 South Stonestreet Ave., Rockville. Vaccination appointments are available on most Thursdays. Only one pet per 15-minute time slot. If you want to bring more than one pet, please schedule more than one consecutive appointment.

Pet Relinquishment Report

As a private rescue with limited space, we can't help with every request, but will assist if we can. Please provide vet records showing status of vaccines, age of spay/neuter status, and rabies certificate signed by the vet.

Poor service from the moment I walked in. Talk about bad first impressions. I went to donate food, and I was greeted by an older white lady saying you can't bring your dog in( no sign anywhere advising on this). As I am struggling to balance the cans of donated food, she kept repeating/yelling this. Her approach was overall rude and made me want to take my food elsewhere, but I thought of the dogs not her. I was disappointed.

Very friendly staff. My dog got neutered here for a very inexpensive price. Also got a microchip and nail trimming. I would definitely recommend this place. The veterinarian clinic will charge you triple and probably not even do as good.

Today I donated gently used towels and sheets. I was able to leave my donation on their table outside during their regular business hours. I was thanked through the door although unexpected, it was nice.

Had my dog spayed & microchipped here, they were really quick, answered any questions we had, were very communicative about the surgery and pick up availability. My dog's surgery went very well & has healed really well, my dog is a happy pup

I adopted the best tempered and most well behaved dog I have ever had from the Montgomery County Humane Society. The staff and facilities are excellent and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly. They are also very honest about the dogs and their primary concern is that they go to a good home that is going to be good for both the animal and the new parents. When we get our next dog I will be returning, I don't think a better experience would have been possible!
