Dog daycare, known as doggie or doggy daycare, describes pet care during the day while owners are at work or on vacation. Dog daycare is often used in conjunction with dog walkers or pet sitters. Our clean, cageless facilities feature open playgroups, in a fun, safe and colorful environment. Our facilities supply overnights and boarding, an alternative to a traditional kennel.

Our puppy loves going to Dogtopia! Our 6 month old puppy goes two to three times per week for dog daycare. She has a blast playing with the other pups and I've seen her getting pets from the staff working in her room several times. We love being able to check in on her during the day with the cameras. The owner, Matt, is so friendly and truly seems to love dogs. I appreciate their prompt drop off and pick up services- the staff is very attentive! We have really enjoyed taking our girl to dogtopia and look forward to more visits.

I went to Wagtime frequently before the pandemic. My dog loved it. But the customer service under new management is extremely poor. My dog grooming appointments have been canceled multiple times in a row on several different occasions. Often I don't find out it's canceled until after I have arrived, and I am never offered any compensation or perks for the trouble and inconvenience.
The haircuts also vary wildly from one appointment to the next, even with the very same instructions. The staff at the front desk are usually complaining about their job or seem annoyed to be there (with a couple of exceptions). It makes me sad to write this, both because my dog loved this place and because it is the most convenient place to my house. I will not be coming back.

Wow, Dogtopia is a life-saver! I love that I can watch my pup 24/7 on the live camera to see how she's doing. She always looks like she's having the time of her life, and it really gives me peace of mind. I also love seeing that there is a live human in the room with the dogs to give them some attention and monitor the situation. All the staff members are wonderful, and everyone I've met has been so friendly and obviously a dog-lover. I also like the ease of booking with the website and mobile app. Dogtopia is simply the best!

We really had hoped to like this place.but will not be back. They nickel and dime you for every little thing. It is already more expensive than other places in the area and then they insist on having your dog come in annually for daycare in order to allow you to board. Each time I have boarded here they make mistakes on the reservation and call repeatedly for little items they forgot to ask you about when you made the reservation.
And here is the worst part.you have access to a camera while you are away and we watched them let a pug hump our Cavalier for HOURS while our dog tried to get away. We have to call multiple times and ask them to keep a closer watch.

Amazing! While visiting DC I was able to confidently leave my pups here while I toured the sights. Thorough meet n greet, then web cams to check in on their progress throughout the day. My older dogs were pretty well suited to the room they were assigned. There are several options and levels of activity. Every dog that entered while I was there was absolutely stoked to be there. One was hesitant at first, then saw their favorite coach and brightened right up. That's always a great sign!

I left my puppy for the first time with very specific dinner instructions for the first time that it was extended hours. They TOTALLY FORGOT to feed my dog and tried to offer a free spa treatment as compensation for the neglect. I would never leave my dog overnight, I won't bring him back for daycare, and I certainly would warn other dog owners about entrusting their pets with them. They can't even remember one meal time. Who knows what they do for the rest of the time that our pets are there.

The staff are friendly and my fur boy absolutely loves spending time with his freinds. As soon as we drive near the building he begins wagging his tail and running around. He can barely get through their door before wanting to join his friends. We utilize spa, day care and boarding services. I am never worried when he is in their care.

Went to pick up our dog after getting "The Works" treatment. They charged us an extra $25 for "de-matting" brushing treatment. We brush our dog everyday and he has never once been "matted". We got no call asking us if they could do this unnecessary service. We brushed that aside and paid regardless. After leaving and stepping outside we noticed they didn't trim his nails (especially his very long dual claw nail) which is supposed to be included in the package.
We brought him back inside and asked them to please trim the nails since we had paid for that service and they very clearly didnt do it. We got some extremely rude attitude from the groomer who came back and tried to make an argument about how our dogs "quick" was low on all the nails. I politely said that we have gotten his nails cut before many times and they have never had an issue and his quick is certainly not as low as you are stating.
They took him back to do the nail trimming and *shock* were very easily able to trim the nails. After bringing our dog back out to us, we politely thanked the staff for doing the nails and once again received a rude comment and an eye roll from the groomer. We will certainly not be brining our dog back here. If they openly treat the parents like that I can only imagine how they must treat the dogs.

We love Dogtopia Lake Oswego! Denali is so excited as soon as we drive up and happily worn out when I pick him up! The staff and canine coaches are amazing and so friendly. It's clean and bright and the webcams are an added bonus to check in on my dog throughout the day. You can even schedule grooming services for daycare days which makes it all so easy! Highly recommend!

My dog, Ivy, celebrated a year of going to Dogtopia yesterday. I continue to wholeheartedly recommend Dogtopia. The dogs are assessed for temperament and size. Ivy has been going to the Toy Box for the last year. I love watching her excitedly enter that room via webcam. She seeks out the canine coaches for pets. She plays with other dogs and lazes on a cot usually with one to three furry buddies.
The customer service is excellent. Staff are friendly and responsive. I also highly recommend boarding and spa services at Dogtopia. Ivy is happy and relaxed after a day at Dogtopia.

I started bringing my dog Chip to Dogtopia last year when COVID hit and he wasn't getting much playtime with other dogs. I chose it based on the staff, cleanliness, multiple play rooms for different sizes (mine is a little guy) and safety. I never worry about my doorbolter getting away from the staff and I know they are watching the dogs all the time. Almost a year later Chip and I are both thrilled with the Dogtopia experience.

What can I say about Dogtopia! My dog Tripp, he's 9 months old, has become totally socialized, made many friends and he loves going! He gets excited when we pull up in the parking lot! The staff is so kind to both of us. They greet us with open arms & at the end of a long day they give me a recap of how his day was and the new friends he's made.
I love that they have nap time and play music for them to relax. I especially love the live camera so you can watch your dog interact throughout the day. I even share that with my clients and they love it. It puts me as ease knowing he's in good hands. It's a VERY clean environment. I would recommend Dogtopia in a heart beat and I have. Love the 5 treatment! Most of all Tripp feels safe and loves it! Thank you

We have been visiting Dogtopia since last fall and we love it! Like many pet parents, I'm really picky about who watches my dog. I can say that without exception, I completely trust every member of the Dogtopia team. I especially appreciate how the manager Pat makes himself accessible, answers questions quickly and makes my dog feel loved and at home. If you're looking for a safe place to socialize your dog and burn off energy in a safe environment, I would highly recommend!

Updated review: We have been members at Dogtopia for a few months now and love it! The staff go above and beyond to offer the best customer service and will even text me while I'm at work if they notice something out of the ordinary with Koda. My pup has been out of daycare for the 2 weeks due to a broken toenail and the staff mailed him a get well card signed by everyone.
They really go the extra mile to make sure the dogs are cared for and loved on. Also shout out to the groomers! Koda had the softest fur after his spa day. We couldn't be happier with Dogtopia Lake O!

Honestly I am enraged by this whole experience. My dog is now injured from what happened yesterday in the care of your facility from what you guys let happen to her!. I shouldn't have had to call while I'm at work to tell you guys that the person that was supposedly "watching" my dog to do her job correctly. and even when I did call to let you guys know what had been going on you still didn't even stop it or watched her closely like you said you would!
Ever since that dog came in and wouldn't stop leaving her alone I had to watch the cameras non stop in hopes that she would correct the behavior from other dog that would not leave her alone and kept on mounting her multiple times, non stop! You guys say that is normal behavior and that's playing. Yes, it is somewhat playing behavior to the extent it shouldn't happen more than just a few times.
But the fact that the dog would not stop doing that to her and wouldn't leave her alone for more than an hour is absolutely not okay behavior. I've talked to my dogs doctor and an animal therapist and explained to them the traumatic event that happened they were both in shock and in an agreement that shouldn't be okay to have let that happen!
They explained that that is aggressive dominance behavior and that is solely on that specific dog! And that shouldn't have had let go on and it should have been stopped immediately and the dog should have been put somewhere where the dog couldn't get to my dog anymore. and as for the person working she should have been physically turned facing the dogs to watch them at all times but instead she wasn't not!
You should have a cleaning kennels procedure in place to where they are clean AFTER the dogs are gone and or before so you would have your full attention on the dogs and not busy doing other work. Maybe you should have two people in there if that one person can't do what she's suppose to do. is to watch the dogs. You guys advertise SAFE-play.
But what happened to Charlotte was the complete opposite. I had expressed seriously multiple times that my poor baby cannot defend herself and she is too submissive and you all reassure me that she will be well watched and taken care of. that in fact did not happen and resulted to an injury. Also you need to separate out all the dogs that are too big!
The dog that had did this to my girl was way too big to be in that damn room from the beginning. That dog is not toy size! That is a medium to large size dog! There were way too many big and overly heavy dogs in there to begin with! The definition of a "toy size dog" is VERY VERY SMALL dog. so the fact that you call that the toy size room is a bunch of freaking BS. I hope my dogs traumatic incident will make you guys change your ways and do things the correct way!

The Dogtopia staff are extremely professional and kind. It was immediately clear to us (and our dog) that each staff member is a dog enthusiast. We felt very comfortable sending our dog here for daycare, and really liked the secure access to the video feed so we could watch our pup on her first day back at doggy daycare since March. Drop off was easy and safe, and the entire staff wore masks (including the handlers in the daycare rooms).

Dogtopia is amazing! The staff is incredible. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. It's tough to find a place you feel comfortable leaving your dog but this place is clean, well maintained and you can watch your dog all day on their cameras which is so nice. We've done both boarding and daycare and our dog always comes home happy and tired. We tried a few different places before finding Doptopia and I am so thrilled we found them!

My 9 month old pup loves Dogtopia! She has learned to regulate her energy and play with pups appropriately. She is so happy when I drop her off and tired from all the play when I pick her up! Also, the indoor play hasn't affected her potty training at all! She knows that our home is different than the indoor "dog park" at Dogtopia. The staff is great, personable, and really loves your dog and all the dogs that come into daycare.

The team at LO Dogtopia is incredible, nice and love my pup, Rigby, just as much as I do (if that's possible). Special shout out to Pat, Angie and Courtney. They are always great with sharing updates and letting me know how Rigby's daycare stays have been. Rigby is a happy pup because he gets the time to hang with other dogs, burning off energy, he's an extremely social little guy. We will definitely be back again and again and.

We found this place through a recommendation on Nextdoor and a recommendation from a neighbor walking by with her pup. We couldn't be happier! The staff is incredible loving and communicative. Most importantly our pup comes home happy! The extra touches they offer. photos, reports, live cameras. Great place!

Our dog loves going to Dogtopia and we love taking him there because the facilities are clean and modern, the staff is friendly and caring, the location is convenient, and I love that they have a webcam so I can watch him play. They were even able to clip his claws without a problem (its next to impossible for us to do it at home).

I love the staff that work here, they're always great when we come. I recently left my dog here for about 4 days and checked in on her through the webcams every few hours or so. I never once saw the dogs go outside unless that's done while the cameras are off and the dogs seem to wander around aimlessly in their playrooms. But there isn't much playing going on.
Staff members are pretty much constantly cleaning and might pet a dog here and there. I've left my dog here numerous times but I wish the staff actually played with the dogs and gave them stimulating activities to do rather than standing around all day.

My dog is suffering from an illness and has multiple hygiene problems as a result of it. I had explained this to the owner the first time that we try to take care of her needs at home and bring her to a groomer about once a month. He still yelled at me about her appearance in the check in area in front of others. After he did this twice, I switched to a better priced mobile dog groomer who has a lot more compassion for what my dog is going through and our circumstances. While I can understand becoming upset over seeing a dog with an illness, this individual had no courtesy or professionalism in their discussion regarding my dog's care.

My Pomeranian needs a lot of grooming because she's so fluffy and since I recently moved to Columbia, I decided to try out this place because it has good reviews. I've taken my dog to this place three times and each time my dog comes home clean, well groomed, and smelling great with nicely trimmed nails. However. I have decided to not go to Dogtopia anymore due to some concerns that arose each time I went there.
My dog is a VERY friendly and outgoing dog who loves people so much it's almost annoying. She's always been very comfortable going to new places and the vet, doggie day care, and more. What greatly concerns me is that I didn't recognize my dog every time I took her there and picked her up because upon seeing the entrance and front desk and leaving. she would shake so badly it was as if she was vibrating.
She was absolutely terrified each time and it is completely out of her character to act that way. I tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt but it happened each time I took her there and this has not occurred anywhere else and thus i have decided to try other places in the area.

Took my pup in for a trim. I made it very clear that I only wanted an inch off the body and gave specific instructions NOT to touch his face or tail. I picked him up and he was completely shaved, face and all! The groomer said he was matted.there is no way. He was on a regular schedule of every 3 weeks as well as being brushed at home. Lori was sweet and kind to my dog but can not cut breed specific. Every dog that came out looked exactly the same.like a poodle! I def won't be returning for grooming.

Dogtopia in Clarksville is amazing! They take care of our dog so well, with love. You can tell that they are wonderful because our doggie practically runs out of the car and into the building.he knows where he is and can't wait to get in to play with the other dogs. Wonderful owner and wonderful place. Highly recommend.

I took my miniature poodle to Dogtopia for grooming because of the great reviews on Yelp, I won't be taking him back. The grooming was fine except for the nasty 1/2 inch nick under his arm, unacceptable. And he's limping.my dog is limping after going to that place!. Also, it was expensive. Matt did point out the nick to me and I do realize accidents happen but this wasn't a tiny nick. My dog was freaked out when I got home back, none of this has happened before.

Used several times for extended stays for our springer spaniel and Brittany. They loved it there! The place is clean and the staff is great! We are military and have used kennels all over the world. This is one of the top ones. I only wish they had a grassy outdoor area for exercise. They can pick up bad habits relieving themselves inside on the floor all the time. But I would highly recommend. Only wish they boarded cats too!

Our greyhound, Comet, was rescued at age 3 and took a several years to fully trust and love our family. For 10 years, we avoided placing him in a kennel, thinking he would be more relaxed at home with a sitter while we were on vacation. When our sitter suddenly fell through last year, a friend recommended Dogtopia of Clarksville. I was so nervous leaving him for the first time that I cried in the car on the way home.
Then my kids started crying and we almost cancelled the ski trip. Well - we were wrong! Comet was so happy to be around other dogs and the loving care of Matt, Jackie, Ashley, Sue, Ron and all the other staff. Comet returned several times for extended vacations and was always sad to leave when we picked him up. Comet was almost 14 years old, and they accommodated his every need without hesitation.
They did not just treat him as a "big dog" and place him in the room. They observed him to see where he was happiest and varied his visits according to his needs. Comet lived a long life, and passed away right before Easter, 2 days before another stay at Dogtopia. My only regret is that we did not let him visit Dogtopia sooner and more often. Pets truly are members of the family. We felt like the staff at Dogtopia understood that. They seem to love their jobs and the dogs.

If our 2 pups even think they're going to Dogtopia they start FLIPPING OUT with joy! When we pull up they fight to get out of the car first. We love watching them on the internet cameras playing with their friends. When they come home they sleep all night and we feel great knowing how much fun they had. Customer service? WOW! When it's raining at Dropoff time they come outside with an umbrella and grab the dogs right out of the car for me. Seriously? What could be better than that? Awesome owners and employees!

What can I say but how great this place is and how wonderful and caring the staff here are. My pure bred Chocolate Lab, Gracie absolutely loves it here. She gets so excited even before we pull up to the building. We are getting off the freeway and she starts to go nuts because she knows where she is going. We have been boarding her here over 4 yrs and have never had any problems.
We have had her boarded there from a long weekend to 2 weeks. Gracie always comes home clean, exhausted and happy. I also like the fact that whenever I call to book her stay there is always availability. That's appreciated when we have short notice on having to be out of town. I have to say Matt is one of the nicest people at your place. Always courteous and pleasant on the phone and in person. Needless to say we are loyal customers and will continue to board Gracie here as long as you are around. I highly recommend this to doggie parents.
