Doggie Spa & Day Care

My nervous little dog Mira had a nice visit. She was made welcome, she had a wash and trim and looks and smells beautiful. She was very happy when I went to pick her up that was nice to see. We will visit again.

I took my dog Sotis to Doggiespa and got him back around 1,5 hours later. He was trimmed, washed and blow-dried perfectly. Gem (the owner) was very kind and careful with him, which I could see immediately as he was happy! Brand new equipment, very clean and tidy place. I highly recommend it for all pet owners who want their pet to be treated nicely by a professional. We ll be back for sure!

Sure, we think The Doggie Spa is aces, but what really counts is how our dogs like it, right? They LOVE it, always excited to see the staff when we arrive and barely even giving us a good-bye glance. The team is smart about dog behavior and attentive to special needs. We highly recommend them.

Great place to board your pet! The owner and staff are very attentive to all the dogs and take the time to make sure they are happy and having a good time! When we take our dog there it is like he is going on a little vacation himself. He just loves it there and seems to know he will have a great time! We can go away and not worry about how our dog is being cared for and treated. We know he is getting the best care possible while we are away. I recommend Doggie Spa and Day Care to anyone who needs a place to board their dog!

We've always had a great experience leaving our dog here. He must have a great time, because as soon as he recognizes where we are his tail starts wagging. He practically pulls me to get in the door and never looks back as he heads in. I guess that says it all.

I also had a very hard time getting someone on the phone at this place. Their drop off/pick up hours are limited (similar to a hotel, they say), but I'd still like to think they had someone staffing throughout the day. I wanted to actually speak to someone, but after 6 attempts over two days with no answer, I left a message with my reservation information.

I was at work when they returned my call, and they basically said, "call us back to make an appointment". Thanks, guys! It concerns me if there were to be a problem while I was boarding my dog, and wouldn't be able to get through to them. I did end up using them for a 4-night stay for my 6 month old puppy, and everything went well. While the address is Chapel Hill, I'd recommend google mapping it--as it was about 35 minutes from my home in SW Durham. I probably won't use them again based on the distance, but I have no complaints about the care of my dog.

My dog just spent his second visit with Doggie Spa @ Day Care. He liked it (thus so do I!). Kirk and his staff are great.

I hate boarding my dog but when I have to, this is the only place where I feel comfortable leaving my pet. Once I had to board my dog who was severely incapacitated by wobblers syndrome and sarcopenia, and they attended to his needs way beyond their professional framework. He was constantly monitored and the staff didn't hesitate to call me to update me on his status.

They also made sure that throughout his stay he always had a clean bed despite his incontinence. It's also great that they provide a wash service before pick up, so the dog can head straight home nice and clean.
