Services
Sometimes it's tough to know where to turn when your dog, cat, iguana, or other friend -feathered or furry- is needing a friend when you're not at home. That's why we created Special Friends Pet Sitting Service! Special Friends has been providing professional pet sitting services throughout the Dayton area since 1997.
If you're heading out of town and need someone to care for your pets at home, look no further! Special Friends offers 30 minute and 1 hour visits up to four times per day, giving you peace of mind while you're away. Do you have an elderly or special needs pet that cannot be left home alone overnight?
What do you charge for vacation services? A. Our base rate is $24.00 for the first two pets, and each additional pet is $2.00. For example, 3 dogs would be $26.00 per visit. 2 cats, a dog, and a rabbit would be $28.00 per visit. Visits are a minimum of 30 minutes, and we do offer extended hour long visits - contact the office for rates!

Trustworthy. Friendly. Most important. Family. If you love your pets, you should no longer pay high fees for boarding services. Special Friends Pet Sitting treats you and your fur babies like family and are reasonably priced. Alicia is a professional care giver and we love her. She always went above and beyond caring for my pets.

Alicia reached out to me in response to my request. She went over all our needs and so much more and was able to put me in touch with one of the walkers, Robert. He was in touch the next day to set up a time to meet us as we needed someone that next week. I received text during/ after each visit, with photos too ( bonus)! We then used SFPS for mid days for the next month! We highly recommend SFPS for your pet needs!

Took good care of pet. Played with him, emailed us photos, checked mail. Neighbors said she came morning and evening every day. Offered to fill bird feeders. Returned house key on the day of our return. She came to meet pet before we left and discussed pet's habits and procedures. Will use Special Friends next time.

Highly recommend Special Friends for your pet needs. I had foot surgery 8 weeks ago and my two Australian cattle dogs were not getting their long walks. I reached out to Special Friends and the owner, Alicia, within couple of days was able to provide an awesome dog walker, Dani. My dogs love her and she is so wonderful with them!

Special Friends provides a very professional and reliable pet sitting service. Michelle takes excellent care of our cat Jessie while we are away, providing daily text updates with pictures. We feel very confident leaving Jessie in her care and the updates and pictures help us to not miss her so much. Highly recommend!

Alicia and her staff are very thorough, kind, trustworthy and professional. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle who took great care of my dog Lonnie. I have been using Special Friends for over two years now for my beagle and lab. They provide quality pet care at a reasonable price. My dogs are better in their home as opposed to being boarded. My sitters, I have worked with Megan and Whitney, are wonderful about communicating with me while I'm out of town for work. I feel that they are always in good hands, especially because the sitters are trained in pet first aid and CPR.
