As a cat lover and owner since childhood, I found it increasingly more difficult to form a good relationship with a reliable caretaker for my kitties when the need arose. Home service provided by friends or neighbors was simply not dependable and often inconsistent with my desires. Inappropriate behavior from my pets during my absence became a regular problem.
Often, I would return to find terrible messes, sick kitties, and once a missing feline family member. Disappointed, I turned to kennels, only to find small cages and other unacceptable conditions.

We had to leave our boy for two months on short notice and they were amazing! The staff are so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble - like receiving extra shipments of his food/medication and storing frozen food. He had a nice big room with a window and lots of ledges to climb and sleep. They took such great care of him, we couldn't hesitate to board him here again. I only wish they were closer to Denver, but they're worth the drive.

Our two cats stayed here for two months. The Cat House took phenomenal care of them; they were quick to respond to any emails and helped me plan for an international move. Our cats didn't develop any behavioral changes and seemed perfectly happy and content when we picked them up. The Cat House let us bring in all of their favorite blankets, a special chair the cats loved, special litter, and provided them their special diet to a tee for two months. I can't thank them enough (especially Alicia). They made a stressful expression as smooth as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Cat House!

My wife and I moved from Grand Junction, CO to Longmont, CO and through our move had to board our two cats. We went with cat boarding and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Our two cats were well taken care of for over a month. Daily litter cleaning, living space, and play time. I felt comfortable immediately with the staff and even though it was hard having to board them I felt safe where they were.
We were able to visit them as long as we called ahead. I also appreciated they only board cats. Even though our two cats live with two dogs having it be just cats makes it less stressful for the cats I feel while they stay. If we ever have to board cats again Cat House is where I will go.

The Cat House was a super cute little place and the staff was so nice! The cat condos are HUGE compared to other cat boarding places, and they all had windows and shelves everywhere! It was clean and very quiet, since they don't have a bunch of dogs (like most boarding places). There are a bunch of birds inside for the cats to watch. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well without me and probably never will, but I do believe this was the best experience it was possible for him to have. The other cats appeared content.

These folks really have a wonderful facility! The place is big, clean and the cats are happy. We were able to enjoy our trip while they enjoyed theirs. They let us bring the cats 1 day early and pick them up 1 day late. The price is very reasonable and they aren't stuck in a small cage. They have ROOMS for your cats and birds to watch for their entertainment. Highly recommend

I've had my previous cats stay here before and made reservations for my new whippersnappers to stay here. One of the best things I can say about this place is the cats there are calm and happy. It's peaceful. They've designed this place with cats in mind with nice rooms, natural light, birds inside in two places as well as a window in each room for cats to look out. It's clean, smells good and most importantly, the cats all seem happy to be there. I feel good about my kitties going here for my upcoming trip.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My three cats were boarded there long-term, and it was great. All my little guys were happy and healthy, and they really enjoyed deviling the birds everyday. The place is laid out so that the cats are in large rooms (not cages) with shelves that they can run around on. Almost all of the rooms have windows as well, so the cats can look out, and the front of every room is wire mesh, so the cats can see what's going on in the main rooms, too.
As well, any cats who want to come out and roam around the place can do so twice a day. All in all, I was very lucky to have found The Cat House, and I would recommend it everyone. The people there (Alicia, Felicia, Lisa, and the owner Mick) are all great people who really care about your cats. Finally, one reviewer here said that it was "extremely overpriced, " but I can't believe he is talking about this place. Boarding my cats there was considerably cheaper than boarding them at my vet (where they would've been in small cages the whole time), and it was a much, much better environment. I would definitely board my cats there again, and as I wrote earlier, I would recommend The Cat House to anyone. It really is that great.
