Dr. Norman knew she wanted to be a vet since she was 5 years old, always finding stray animals and wanting to help! That desire to care for and help animals drove her to work hard until she achieved her dream and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from U.C. Davis. After graduation, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to complete an internship and practiced there in a mix of general practice and shelter medicine environments. She is excited to relocate to Boise to be closer to her family and become a part of the community.
Even the best pet owners are, from time to time, faced with situations involving their pets that require immediate attention. In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours, please call ahead, if possible, and proceed directly to our practice. Every experienced visit to AAH has been incredibly pleasant. The staff are kind, caring, and professional. all the 'family feels'! Have never felt rushed about or out. each individual takes thought and time. Dr. Norman is a world of knowledge! She's gentle and takes her time with details and educational things. I remember our first visit. my mind was blown when she came in and introduced herself and then sat on the floor with our dog! We AAH!

Woke up to my dog screaming in pain early this morning and rushed him to this vet's office we have been to previously. Got there at 7:30 opening and walked in to immediately be told no to any possible emergency services. Not even a hello from the front desk girl or any questions about our situation. I will stop recommending you or ever come back. Truly shows how much you people care about pets

My family and I have been so impressed with Dr. Norman. We have been to many vets throughout Boise and Meridian, but have not found a vet as compassionate as her. She is always calm, gentle, respectful and knowledgeable about our dogs. One of our dogs is more aggressive and she handles him so gracefully. Taking a pet to the vet can be so stressful, but Dr. Norman makes it a positive experience for everyone.

My husband and I really are happy in finding Ada Animal Hospital. Dr. Norman and the rest of the staff are always so nice and attentive to us. We have a 15 month old Cane Corso and get nervous bringing him to the vet sometimes. Let me tell you, this is the place you will feel comfortable bringing a large breed puppy to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, with not only the breed, but welcoming a puppy in a new environment. Very easy to schedule with and always in a good mood. I'll think we've found our vet. : thanks guys!

Everyone there is very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Norman is very patient and never makes me feel rushed. She listens and respects your views on things. She is great with my dogs. Four stars instead of five because it can be hard to get an appointment sometimes, they can be so busy and because the building is very very old with a small waiting room but other than that this place is awesome and they really make me feel like they care about my fur babies.

It is clear that Dr Norman has a heart for animals and their care. Their health and well-being is her foremost duty. Her staff is friendly and professional and share the same love of animals. This is the only practice I would trust for the care of my furry family members! Extremely fair pricing and upfront about what is needed to keep animals in their best health. I take my pup and my 4 kitties here. They are so affordable. They love my babies like they are there own. My pup has sever reaction to the shots and they make her feel so much better. I love how they always call to see how your babies are doing. There communication is great. I'll never stop. I love the team and the crew they are the best.

Very thorough and they really care! They treat animals like one of their own they helped my buddy andre out when he was very sick and could barely breathe and couldn't eat. Was caught off gaurd when they called me to check in on him and make sure he was getting better extremely happy with the experience and affordable rate will always come here for now on if need be

It's in an older building, so it threw me off for a sec, but when I went inside I was instantly greeted with smiles and hellos to both my pup and I. The staff was great, the doctor was super friendly towards my pup and let me stay in the room during the entire appt. I couldn't be happier with the care and love they gave to Walter and I. I cannot say enough great things about this place, and as a new "patient" I couldn't be happier. Thank you gals for welcoming Walter and I with open arms.
