I've been using Doggywalkers for a while now for all my out of town trips. They are so nice and professional, I'm able to schedule visits every time even in busy peak times. The price is the best in the area, and they send cute reports of each visit by email to me. Highly recommended for at home pet care.

Horrible management. September 2019 - Innocent client dog killed and the caregiver seriously injured because of negligence of management. Clients are talked about badly by managers daily. Employment turn over is very high for caregivers and that alone is an obvious sign of the working conditions. No high standards of care for clients animals

We have been using doggywalker for the past 2 years and I love them. We will be moving soon and I am so sad. We consistently had the same dog walker for 1.5 years, but she was recently deployed. Robbyn returns your emails promptly and they have a very flexible cancellation policy. Our dog loves the dog walkers. They leave a quick note/or an email - whichever you prefer.

We used rover and baroo in the past and the dog walkers were unreliable (cancelled on us a few times when it snowed) and inconsistent. Doggywalker you guys are the best and you will be missed!

Theo absolutely adores Heath, our doggy walker. One day I was home sick, lying in bed feeling sorry for myself, and Heath entered to walk Theo. Heath came through the door and greeted Theo loudly and lovingly with a "Theoooooo!" followed by lots of pets and love when Theo ran to him. When they returned, Heath continued to pamper Theo and give him treats and talk to him just like I do.

Through all of this Heath didn't know I was home and sick. I am so happy that my precious pup is taken care of when I'm at work, and taken care of by people who genuinely love the dogs they walk!

I used Doggywalker in Alexandria for about two years and would still be a client today if I hadn't relocated to a different state. It's hard to give a set of house keys, and access to your baby, to a stranger, but I never regretted choosing this company. The walkers are totally professional, but also super kind and caring to the dogs. This isn't that guy dragging six dogs around town.

They are one on one with your pup. They were beyond perfect. On many occasions I found myself stuck at the office and was able to get someone from DW to make a second visit to my house at night. Having options like that available is critical if you have to be at work for unexpected situations.

I used Doggywalker and bought a 1 month 30min visit package between 10:30 and 12:30. Today, the walker didn't show up until 3:10 and the visit was only 20min (they have different prices for a 20 vs 30min visit). No one called or texted me they were going to be almost 3 hours late. I got home 10min after the walker left. Luckily my dog didn't have an accident.

I called the office and the woman tried to argue that the visit was 30min. I told her I have it on video with a timestamp so she condescendingly offered to refund me $2. She also tried to brush it off by saying they were late walking other dogs too. I am currently waiting for an owner or manager to get back to me so I can pick up my keys from their office ASAP and get a refund for the month package I bought.

It seems that they don't want to take responsibility for late visits or walkers that cut time. Edit: Keghley contacted me and was very understanding. They will return my keys, refund today, and cancel future services. Thanks!

Doggywalker is FANTASTIC! They have been taking care of our pets since 2016 and we wouldn't trust any other service. They treat the pets like your own and will send you daily emails (with pictures!) about how the pets are doing. We have a chinchilla and that did not deter Doggywalker, they welcomed it! Special shoutout to Robbyn E. in particular!

Dean and his team provide superior service. My dog was always excited to see his "person" arrive for her walk, and I came home to a detailed note about what she had done that day. I never had to worry that she was being taken care of during the day. Highly recommend doggywalker!

The staff at Doggy Walker are all amazing! Great rates, and always felt comfortable with the staff. They really go above and beyond to ensure they are taking care of your pets. I have to say all of our animals absolutely loved everyone! They took such great care of our dog: Maverick, and our two cats Henry and Aurora. We would absolutely keep using your services if we still lived in the area! Our animals already miss everyone at doggy walker. I highly recommend using them if you ever need any dog walking, sitting or pet services.

Great company! Doggywalker offers monthly rates that will save you money in the long run. Their staff is great and I felt comfortable leaving the keys to my apartment to them. I found competitors to be less trustworthy, less experienced and inconsistent with their rates.

As two working dog parents, when we got our 2 month old puppy we knew we would not be okay with leaving him home alone all day. Doggywalker has been a lifesaver for us. Their monthly packages may seem expensive but are not too bad when you break it down to the daily cost. Becky comes and plays with our puppy twice a day and leaves very detailed notes. She clearly loves Pumba and he has a lot of fun during her visits. We plan on continuing to use this service for a long time!

Beatrix is a great walker for my hyper dog! My dog is not always friendly with strangers, but she loves Beatrix, and is definitely calmer after her walks. I'm very relieved knowing my dog is in good hands.

Please exercise caution when leveraging this service. I hired their team to watch my cats over the fourth of July holiday last year (2016). It started with the pre-visit where the sitter was late, really didn't pay attention, didn't seem interested and didn't take notes. I figured she was a quick study. When I returned, the plants were not watered, the wet food barely used (i.e. one spoon scoop only over a week's + time where I go through at least a full container once a week), there was barely enough dry food, the water bowls were next to empty, I scooped two days worth of "cat business, " one cat was matted, none of the cat treat containers were touched, none of the toys had been touched and I was left one short note where over a week's worth of visits were slated.

Upon elevating this, the sitter lied and said she took the plants outside (i.e. two of the three were already outside), she thought the plants did not need watering because it rained (i.e. they were under a fully covered patio), didn't realize there were upstairs water bowls (which there were not and does not answer the nearly empty bowls), none of the cats ate wet food (which they do twice daily with me) and no comment on the electrical outage.

It took some back and forth, but I did receive a partial reduction, which was still more generous than any visit(s) I did receive. If I did receive visits, I'm not sure what she did.

They dont treat your pets as pets or clients or treat you like customers they treat you like family

I moved to the area about 6 months ago and was new to the whole idea of having a dog walker. I did extensive research and decided on Doggywalker because they had wonderful reviews and affordable pricing. We have a large dog (about 110 lbs) who is a lot to handle. The dog walkers did wonderful with Kyser! Brianna was our regular walker and each day she would leave a detailed note and tell us how much she enjoys her visits with Kyser.

I know Kyser enjoyed them as well. I can't thank her enough! These guys were always accommodating to our varying schedule and din't even get mad the time I forgot to cancel and they showed up to no dog in the apartment. Unfortunately, I am relocating and am unable to keep services with these guys, but they were great. I definitely recommend!

We used doggy walker for almost 10 years before moving. The company is ok but.what was exceptional was some of the walkers. Robin and Holly became family. They were so good and all my pups loved them, as did we. Robin was with us through us losing three of our guys and helped us raise our puppies. We miss her and recommend the company because of people like Robin. Miss you Robin D and M! And B, T and F.

I appreciate that it is always the same person that comes to walk my dog, and that it is REALLY easy to log in and either cancel or add walks. DoggyWalker has been a dream come true for me and my dog, Eunice, since 2009. They are reliable, friendly, and give me peace of mind. My dog has a designated walker, Sarah, who comes every afternoon to walk Eunice. She leaves a detailed note about the walk, and I know she takes good care of my dog. DoggyWalker has always been available for weekend overnight stays, even with last minute notice.

They try very hard to get Eunice's walker for these stays, and if it is not possible, they assign someone who has visited with Eunice before. When I was living between two apartments, DoggyWalker went above and beyond to accommodate me and Eunice, agreeing to check the online schedule each day to see where they could pick up Eunice. DoggyWalker is dependable and affordable. I'm so happy to have found them.

We absolutely love the folks at DoggyWalker. Our walker Liz lives us a detailed note after every visit and on the few occasions when someone else was sent, we were alerted ahead of time and received a follow-up call from the owner himself telling us how it went afterward. We could not be more thrilled with the love and care our puppy receives from the entire DoggyWalker team -- even our cat adores them and has been known to cuddle up for some attention. I've been using Doggwalker.com over the past 7 months for my Rottweiler. My dog walker, Laura is fantastic! She is an obvious animal lover and Sierra is always happy to see her. I trust them 100%, they are very accommodating with requests, even last minute ones.

Just been a client for two weeks. Amazing customer service and I have an amazing, well walked dog. Best investment I have made going into the city! A class act, I would totally advertise for them if they gave me a t-shirt. I wish there were more businesses like this!

The company is great at getting business. They sent an amazing woman to my house to meet my dog and gather information about her. Then, they pulled the bait and switch. They assigned a different walker to me, and he was an extremely odd person. After about a month of being walked, I noticed that my sweet, sweet dog was extremely skiddish around males.

In order to investigate, I worked from home to observe the walker's interaction with my dog. Well, there was none. He exploded into the house, huffing and puffing, pounded up the stairs, put her on the leash and drug her out - never even speaking to her. When they got back from the walk (which was exactly half of the time I was paying for), my dog RAN upstairs to get away from him and he THREW treats upstairs after her.

While the online scheduling feature they offer is great, the office personnel are extremely unresponsive. I have cancelled my service but have only had one set of keys returned.
