I owned a grooming shop that specialized in grooming cats for 30 years and am now retired but still breeding the Maine Coons. Our cats have been doing TV commercials and ads for Ralph Lauren, Lands End, Pet Supermarket, Ford, McDonalds & TV specials for Discovery & Gala channels just to name a few!
Services
In order to improve our breeding program we have recently imported some Maine Coons from Russia. We are now able to produce many colors which include smoke, calico, brown, black, cameo, red, and silver. We do not breed white or polydactyl. At 8 weeks old, our kittens are taken to my veterinarian for a check up, inoculations and a fecal check.

I purchased my Maine Coon kitten from Leigh and found that she also groomed cats. I placed my cat in an animal spa while visiting out if town. He appeared very timid when I picked him up but he had many hair tangled in his coat. I remembered that Leigh groomed cats. I called and made an appointment. Took the cat to them and picked him up with knots shaved and nails clipped.
He was not as beautiful with his coat shaved but in three months all was back to normal. He was brushed daily and purrs waiting for his brush. I returned to have him bathed and keep his back nails clipped. He was noisy during the bath but was a great looking male. Also received excellent guidance in continued care and possible adding to our family of cats. A good experience for cat and satisfied owner.

I believe my dog was injured while being groomed here. She had a deep puncture wound on the right side of her neck which was hidden by all her hair and I did not find for a week she is a Golden DOODLE very shaggy hair and long. We have been many times and She has always left with a bandana on her neck after her groom. I Dropped her off before work.
She was there from 8 am till 3:00 when I finished work I picked her up. The owner told me she was not putting a bandana on her because they did not want her to Mat I didn't think anything of it I just said OK. Now thinking about it the reason why they didn't put a bandana on her I believe is they didn't want it to stick to the wound hoping I wouldn't find it I am so upset I was not informed my dog got Injured. The groom was 125.00 and 800.00 at the vet. Check your dogs to the skin. Very sad I trusted them.

I started going to Miracle Workers 12 years ago and became friends with the owner, Leigh. She becomes friends with everyone that comes in the store. Over the past 12 years I have been impressed with the staff (some from New York Madison Square Garden Fame) and the great family atmosphere they all have. Their work on show dogs, pets, and Leigh's work with difficult cats is legend.
I spoke with Leigh about the review from the gentleman above. Leigh said he came to the store, advised her that other groomers refused to do his cat, that the cat was mean and was too difficult. Leigh is also a cat lover and one of the only groomers that does cats. Three women routinely fly from New York, spend the day shopping, while Leigh grooms their cats. Leigh is an animal lover, and took this feisty cat and lovingly bathed the cat by pouring water over it gently with a pitcher, instead of a shower hose.
The cat was groomed to perfection, and the owner said he was amazed and left the store happy. Leigh does not answer her phone on weekends as she is usually camping or riding her horse. She responded back Sunday, when she received his message. He advised he had taken the cat to a vet, who could find no apparent injury, perhaps soft tissue damage? Leigh immediately offered to refund his money if he was no longer happy with her services.
She also advised him, that if he had pointed out any injury at the time he was in her store or returned that day, they would have gone to the vet immediately. I know for a fact she should have charged him twice as much as she did, because of the difficulty involved. Nonetheless, she never cashed his check since he was not satisfied. Leigh and her staff have a following that goes back 20 years because of their love, caring, great grooming and wanting to have friends not just customers! Any dog or cat owner will love this place.

Long story short- My cat was injured during a grooming, which I didn't realize until she limped out of the cat carrier when we got home. Quickly called the groomer back up and they promised to return the call ASAP, didn't hear back from them until I called almost 2 days later. Meanwhile I am forced to take my cat to the vet for x-rays the next day as she continued to be in tremendous pain.
The groomer refused to take responsibility and outright refused any financial liability for the injury, even though it definitely happened as they were giving her a bath. Just not happy with their attitude or professionalism. Definitely will never go back.

I went here for the first time today, when I was greeted the lady was so nice! She asked me exactly what I wanted & when I picked up my pup he was exactly how I wanted! They even made him a bandana with his name written in glitter glue free of charge what a sweet surprise! The lady that helped us out made small talk and I am def going back! The pricing is great too! Way better than petsmart!
