Myra's Toy Puppies

She is not a breeder but a broker. She sells puppy mill dogs and is well known for having seriously problematic dogs. Our baby has cost us in excess of 10K above and beyond the initial purchase price. It's not the puppies fault but Myra's. She will not admit who or what she is but she is the worst kind of dog person. Money grubber. We love our baby but she is so mentally deranged that she can not function as a normal dog. STAY AWAY from this woman

My boyfriend & I bought a 12 week Bichon-poodle from Toy Puppies Inc. Within 1 week of buying of buying Milo, he presented with GI issues (throwing up & constipation). Spent hundreds on vet visits to find out he was born with a parasite passed down from the mother. He is currently taking medication to rid the parasite and we are hoping for a quick recovery.

Moral of the story, I don't recommend purchasing from this breeder due to the risk that their may be parasites in the parents passed on to offspring as what happened in my case.

I have the most WONDERFUL puppy from Myra. VERY SMART. VERY PLAYFUL, VERY HEALTHY. You cannot do better than getting your fur baby from Myra. She is vey knowledgeable and so willing to share her knowledge and experience with you

My sister lost her 17 year old Pomeranian in the summer for 2021 after a good long life. While in Miami for the Boat Show 2022 we found Myra's website for her puppies and my sister decided she was ready for a new baby. Myra was kind enough to open her home to us and let us visit with her puppies. You can really tell from her interview process that she cares for her puppies and does her very best to make sure they go to the right home.

We are now able to take home a little Teddy Bear puppy who is so sweet and full of personality. Do not hesitate to call Myra for a well rounded and adorable addition to your family. Now Ozzy is West Virginia bound and we couldn't be happier.

I have been blessed with the most wonderful puppy from Myra's Toy puppies. It was love at first sight and now I have a lifetime companion and best friend. Not only is Myra a lovely lady to work with her home and kennel is immaculate and one can sense her professionalism, pride and care for the puppies she breeds. THANK YOU MYRA!

We got Olaf in August of 2021, and he has been a wonderful pup. He has such a spunky, but loving temperament, which is just what a Bichon should be! It's obvious that Myra takes the time to socialize the puppies, and she had separate areas for potty and play/stimulation to let the puppies start learning that there is a difference. I've never seen such a tiny pup be so good about puppy pad training, and when the time came, he had no trouble with his transition to pottying outside.

He's very smart & easy to train, and definitely loves his humans and cuddles. He shows no fear of strangers and is incredibly friendly with the neighborhood kids, who all love him just as much as he loves them! I highly recommend Myra's pups, and we're so grateful that we found her!

Myra was very helpful & professional. We were looking for a small dog for our 10 year old daughter after our previous dogs passed. Myra was very straightforward and very accommodating. She help us pick the perfect dog for our daughter. We got a Bichon Poo from her and we are super happy with our new puppy. I highly recommend Myra's Toy Puppies, if you are interested in getting a purebred, healthy pup.

Got my little girl Lilly from Myra in January 2020. She is the best girl in the world and so happy I found Myra. Only negative is I tried reaching her to get in touch with her siblings but no call back or anything. Would love her to meet her siblings. Lots of breeders set up Facebook groups etc with the litter mates to keep in touch but I'm having an impossible time finding her siblings.

I came across this breezes in 2007 when I got my bischon-poo from her. She was so caring and careful to ensure her puppies went to the right home. Well now in 2021 I got a teddy bear from her and she is amazing. We had 14 years with our first puppy, such a blessing. Now we have our second one and couldn't be happier. She is an amazing breeder and truly cares for her puppies. All her puppies have had the best care and have all their vaccines. You can't go wrong with a puppy that she owns. Thank you for making our home so happy since 2007!

Don't get heartbroken like me. We had purchased a bischon many years ago from Myra and it was a good experience so we decided to go back to her when we decided on getting a Teddy Bear puppy(Mal-Shi). I have been calling almost every week since September about the litters. After many stories or excuses, I was told she had a new litter and to call her at such and such a time to reserve an appointment.

I called when instructed. Guess what! All the puppies were spoken for:(. I could go on and on about our conversations. Finally she had another litter and I was able to make an appt! We purchased everything we needed for the new puppy. We needed to travel a couple hours so, we set out on the road the morning of our appt. Guess what again. She called and said she forgot if I was coming for a Teddy Bear puppy and if so, they were all sold.

We turned around and went home heartbroken. Never again will I deal with her and if you call and don't think something is right, believe your instinct! I wish I had. She doesn't do emails. Maybe, so nothing is in writing!

We are beyond thrilled with our Teddy Bear puppy Mickey. He is handsome, healthy & full of love. We can't thank Myra enough for her quality of care & support. I have referred others to her & will do again in the future!

Myra is Amazing. We just got a toy poodle. Has been with us 6 weeks and The most lovable little girl. We have had dogs all our lives and have never gotten such a well trained dog at such a young age. Anyone who comes to me will be directed to Myra. We Thank Her for our little lovable baby. Neal B.

I wanted to do an update review on my dog Toni that I bought back in September of 2017. He is such an amazing dog! Toni alerts when my sugar is low, my heart spells, and picks up things I drop. Toni also won't let me move when he feels I will pass out from either the low sugar or heart spells. Toni also will get things for me that he can reach (shoes, remote, etc). Toni is always ready to work and learn new things. He just wants to please me and get lots of love and attention. I'm so blessed to have such a fur angel. Thank you Myra for breeding such an amazing dog!

I have NEVER written a bad review about anyone, but Myra deserves one. I should have trusted my first instinct by her mannerism on the phone and hanging up on me to take another call. Nastiest person I have ever dealt with. She wasn't any nicer on the other 3 calls but we wanted a Bijon and she had one. She tells me to come pick it up on Sunday so we make reservations for a hotel, go online and order supplies for the puppy.

Not 2 hours later, I call her back to ask how she would like me to pay her and she tells me the puppies are gone! Not sure how this woman is in business. look at the other terrible reviews she has gotten. Stay clear. Next I will be contacting the BBB to let them know she should not have an A + rating. Thanks a lot Myra for disappointing our 8 yr old who was excited to have a puppy. I always check reviews but went on the word of a reputable person. I learned my lesson.

We bought a puppy from Myra. The dog got very sick a few days later. We brought the dog to our vet and he was diagnosed with Parvovirus. He was immediately rushed to 24 hour care. When I contacted Myra she said I should have brought the dog to her or her vet, which wasn't close by and doesn't have 24 hour care. After a week stay in emergency care, I contacted Myra again.

She yelled at me and said that I should have brought her the dog (which meant the dog would have died.) She was extremely rude. Luckily, the puppy did survive, due to the care of the 24 hour hospital. Do NOT buy a dog from her.

Wow! Not a very good "business owner" very rude. I called to get basic information and she had no time to answer, really, the entire Country is on lock down. leading me to believe she is not a breeder but a front for PUPPY MILLs. I was going to call back at the end of April 14 days but after reading the reviews NO WAY.

I bought a male "Toy Poodle" from Myra, and at 4 months old he is almost 11 inches tall. According with the AKC a Toy poodle stand no more than 10 inches tall. She lied to me and over charged me.

It has taken me 8 years to write this review because I honestly didn't want to write a negative review. But it is wayyyyyyy overdue. I bought a Bichon back in July 2009. My mom and I came in and she surprised me by purchasing me. Toby Wan Kenobi. He was so sweet although I noticed she used some type of powder around his eyes so we wouldn't notice the tear stains.

Fast forward to 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. Toby has now had luxating patellar surgery on both knees and torn ACL surgery on both knees. Total cost over $8,000 over the last few years. We are now doing acupuncture in hopes it is not a torn meniscus. I have been to hell and back and love Toby with all my heart. I urge you to STAY AWAY from Myra. Do not get a puppy from her! I never wanted to say anything bad but this is crazy! No owner should have to go through this! STAY AWAY! You can see by my Yelp reviews that I am a credible reviewer.

Myra sold us a puppy 2 years ago. He is a mixed breed of shitzu, bichon. He is happy, lovable, amazing character, does not bark a lot, very smart and obedient. He is incredibly friendly to people and dogs. He has changed our lives for the better; and having had dogs all our lives the character of this puppy stands out regarding the rest. Thanks Myra!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been calling for over a month to see if I can purchase a havanese puppy. I called recently to check in and she told me she sold the whole litter to a profesional breeder for show! Absolutely ridiculous. Waisted my time and disappointed me. She then went to say she had one left but I would not be able to get him until maybe third week of May. Three weeks ago she told me I could get him this week! So sketchy and a total lie! So disappointed!

This pup was my second pup from Myra. My first dog was fairly happy and healthy. I returned this week to purchase again. The poodle she sold me SEEMED healthy but on the ride home began to choke/cough. I called Myra to inquire if there were kennel cough going around. She SAID no! I brought her to My vet and he administered medication saying her white count was low. 4 days later the pup wasn't improving.

When I called Myra said, bring her by let me see what I can do or get a replacement." "Replacement".didn't sit with me. I then looked for reviews which 4 out of 6 were not good at all. I'm taking the advise of others. DONT PURCHASE FROM MYRA. GOOD OBSERVATION A REVIEWER SAID WHERES THE ADULT MOTHER DOGS IF IN FACT SHES A BREEDER.

New ailment in our bichon similar to what others have said. Powder has a knee issues and is limping at under 7 years old. I have read that this is a genetic disorder, which typically occurs in toy dogs from breeding mills. I love my boy but I cannot ethically endorse Myra. Way too many issues over the years.

We purchased two Havanese from Myra. They are sweet as can be and adorable, however; I am CONVINCED that she does not actually breed these dogs herself. I believe that they are puppy mill dogs. When I picked them up from Myra, one of them had a horrible cough. I brought them to the vet immediately and was told that one had kennel cough and the other had a tick on him!

In addition, both puppies had Giardia. My vet said that is common in dogs in shelters and puppy mills. My advice is to ask to see the parents. Myra's house is beautiful and clean, however; there was no sign of the parent dogs. Shame on me for not asking to see them before purchasing my puppies.

We purchased a Maltipoo from Myra last year (March 2018) a little male we named Frankie. He has been very healthy and has an incredibly large personality. We had him fixed last year and thankfully have had no problems with him. It is unfortunate to hear about those who have had problems with their dogs, but we have had no issues thus far. He gets his regular check ups from our vet, he's on a healthy diet and is incredibly active. If anything, he might be too smart for his own good. He weighs around 6 pounds but thinks he's a 160 pound Great Dane.

Before purchasing a dog from Myra at Toy Puppies Inc. In Davie FL, I suggest you read "The Pet Lemon Law" which says, "A customer is entitled to receive a certificate of veterinary inspection by a Florida-licensed veterinarian stating that the animal was found to be healthy at the time of the examination".

I just got another Teddy Bear. Great temperament so he gets the 5 stars! I did have him checked out with my Vet who did a stool check. He had round worms. Vet said that it's transmitted through the mothers milk and he medicated the puppy with a follow up in 2 weeks. Other than that he was fine. As a courtesy, I contacted Myra and informed her to get the puppys' Mom checked out for round worms. Myra stated that she medicates all her dogs every 3 weeks. Myra provides a 48 hour policy return policy.

Like the others who reviewed here, I wanted to meet the mother and was told she was at the groomers. Also, I asked to see where puppies where kept and I perceived a reluctance. Unfortunately, due to a phone call she received, time passed and I got caught up with puppy and forgot about it. I didn't remember until I had the dog in my car on our way home and by then I was far away. Initially, I was told that my puppy was a Shih Tzu and Bichon mix.

Upon review of the paperwork before signing, I noticed breed stated, Maltese and Shih Tzu. I brought it to her attention and she corrected the certificate to show Shih Tzu and Bichon and blamed her secretary for the error.
