I've tried other doggy daycares in the neighborhood, but Wicker Pet is my favorite. I love how much they care for the dog, and they always do their best to make space for my sweet little Milo! I also LOVE that they have outdoor space for nice days. My dog comes home tired. The one downside is you do have to book ahead of time, but that's manageable!

We love wicker pet! We have done daycare and boarding with them and our dogs LOVE going there. As soon as we walk in the door they run to play with their friends and don't care about saying bye to mom and dad : Wicker pet us always been kind and courteous and takes such good care of our dogs.

I have worked at wicker pet for a couple of months. The manager, Brie, had let me go with no explanation. I was told that she has stated how she let me go Bc she "personally didn't like me". This is beyond unprofessional and honestly disgusting. I love the dogs there, but I was ok with being let go Bc I would not want to work in a place where everyone is not treated equally.

Lemon loves Wicker Pet (5 month old goldendoodle)! I can't walk past the door without her dragging me inside! The staff are extremely nice and help provide additional information on all their services!

We used Wicker Pet for boarding for our dog Colby for nearly ten years whenever we had to leave town. Their staff is loving and always treated him like one of their own. We recently lost Colby and the heartfelt condolences we received from the staff made me realize 1) this review is long overdue and 2) they really did know and love him as an individual dog. Also, they were just as perfect for Colby when he was a rambunctious youngster as when he was a lazy old man.

This place is absolutely amazing in how much they care about your dogs! I was very sick and ended up in the hospital yesterday. Being so I was very upset because I was unable to pick my dog up from daycare and couldn't find a friend near by to pick her up for me with such short notice. I called to explain what happened and to see if I could get her boarded, and the girls were so understanding and so accommodating.

Being in the hospital unplanned, I hadn't brought enough food for my pup to stay overnight and they ran out to get her more food so she could get through the night and the next day. The next day they even offered to bring her home to me since I had been so sick. Would recommend this place to anyone! So caring and such genuine good hearted people. I trust them so much with my girl! Thank you wicker pet!

So many thanks to Brie. I called in about my girlfriend's dog who was spending the weekend under their care while we traveled for her birthday. Brie was nice enough to take a super cute picture of our dog and text is to her as a birthday surprise from our doggo. Wicker pet has the kindest staff! Thanks Bri!

I don't trust dog-walking apps so we found Wicker Pet online when we moved to Wicker Park/Bucktown area. They do great and always let me know how my dog is doing. I love that they always speak highly of him or tell me when he has been bad. It's very convenient because if you have to cancel a walk last minute they don't mind. Will continue to use Wicker Pet, great prices compared to the apps as well.

We've had a ruff history with bad walkers and boarding facilities (Best Friends and Rover). Wicker Pet has gone above and beyond with helping us out with walks, boarding and emergency visits (there have been many). They have always done their best to accommodate us and it's been more than a pawsitive experience dealing with any of their staff.

Their facility may not be as large as others, but they truly get to know your pup and will limit the amount of doggies there if they are at capacity. We will continue to use Wicker Pet as long as they keep their affordable pricing and still take our crazy pupper! Thanks fur everything!

They are awesome! They always remember my dog and look out for her. She's young and still gets uncomfortable around a lot of big dogs so they watch out for her and put her behind the desk if she gets overwhelmed. I really appreciate the friendliness, patience, and personal attention.

Our pup Laika had the best of time attending daycare here with the occasional boarding. We attended 3x a week for a number of months and she was so excited on the days she knew we were taking her, she'd get ready to go by waiting by the door and fuss if we took too long. We just moved out of the area and we're sad to go. The employees are friendly and know each dog's name. Our pup is very high energy and having her worn out at the end of the day greatly improved my husband and I's quality of life, especially through the winter.

Wicker Pets is the place to be if you want your baby to have fun, be safe and have fun. My snuggles loved it here. In fact, we were there just once to pick up the forms needed and as soon as we got off the EL he knew where we were going You want a happy pet -- take him to Wicker Pets for a day of fun

My pup LOVES going to wicker pet. Sometimes I have to drag her out because she wants to stay. Brie and all the staff are wonderful and my girl loves them all. I have a puppy with puppy energy and they are always willing to accommodate her special needs (like helping her learn how to play with other dogs). Whenever my dog misbehaves (it happens), the staff notifies me and always asks for suggestions on what we would like them to do.

They are super flexible with the days we can bring her. Prices are great as well! If you are looking for a great daycare with reasonable prices in the west town area, I recommend wicker pet 100%.

Our dog has been attending Wicker Pet for a month. So far it's been a wonderful experience with them and I can tell Pixel enjoys her time there. They are very responsive over email. Whenever I pick her up they always have an update for me about her, but maybe that's because she gets into trouble due to her puppy energy. :P One thing that would have been great was to be given a tour of the place when we first came in with our dog for the trial day.

We have been taking our dog there twice a week for a year now. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our pup is always so excited when we say "are you ready to go to school?" She jumps up and runs for the door! Wicker pet has been amazing for her social skills. We used to take her to the dog park everyday and she has tons of friends but her socialization really improved when we started taking her there. When we pick her up she is wiped out and sleeps the rest of the day. She is a high energy dog that can easily run 6 miles and this place is too much fun for her to handle

My dog loves it here so much. She's a bit on the shy side, but as soon as we even head in the direction of Wicker Pet, she gets all excited. The minute we walk through the door her entire body starts wagging and she runs into the open arms of any one of the lovely employees who is there to welcome us. She comes home happy and worn out and sleeps most of the next day, so in my book it's win-win!

I have been using Wicker Pet for my dogs for a year or two. They get daily walks and occasionally are boarded. I definitely would recommend them. Brie (the manager) does a great job.she's always been very accommodating and understanding. We never have had any major issues but anytime anything has come up she's been nothing but helpful. Bailey is their normal walker and she's wonderful! She leaves such sweet notes & I know they're well taken care of!

My dog loves Wicker Pet. We bring him for daycare every other Tuesday and, when we can squeeze in a vacation, we board him there. When our pup figures out he's going to Wicker Pet, he practically drags me down the street to get there. Bree and everyone there is terrific. It's clear that they enjoy each of the dogs and their personalities. They are also extremely professional and really do care about being excellent caretakers.

I love the fact that they do personality testing before accepting a new client. During the dog-flu outbreak a couple winters ago, one of their client dogs got the flu so they sent an e-mail with information and required flu shots and even shut down their business for a couple days to disinfect everything. Amazing. I would recommend Wicker Pet without hesitation to anyone who needs daycare or boarding services.

Everyone at Wicker Pet is great and they take care of our dogs like their own. We use them for daycare. Dogs always just pass out when they come home since they have been playing all day. They are always super attentive and communicative if the dogs are sick or had any issues that day. We also use them for walks on days they don't go to daycare and they're great. Definitely recommend Brie and team!

-We absolutely love this place. They're always on point with walking and write us a note everyday to give us a rundown it went. Our dogs also love going in for Day Care. They freak out with excitement and run right into the back as soon as we get there. The staff is extremely friendly and flexible with last minute changes. Couldn't ask for a better place for our pups.

They are so friendly and LOVE our dog Frank. We take him there two days a week for day care and he gets so excited every time. We have also used them for boarding and did not have any issues whatsoever. It's nice that they have extended hours as well. I get there right when they open and they are always on time. Their pricing for daycare is also much better than other places we looked at. Frank had one or two minor incidents with another dog at daycare, but nothing serious. They just got a little too playful. They were awesome about telling us what happens and cleaning up his scratch. Would definitely recommend for boarding or day care!

I have utilized all of Wicker Pet's services over the past six months for my dog, Fiona: walks, day care, boarding, and grooming. Everything has always been fantastic! She is a bit of a character but they have handled her with care (even when she caught and killed a bird on one of her first walks) and given me some great tips. I really appreciate how much they clearly love all the dogs and how happy Fiona is to go there. It really puts me at ease, especially when I have her boarded there, knowing that she is in great hands.

I love Wicker Pet! I have used their dog walking services for over three years now and am always extremely impressed by how accommodating they are to my schedule and their thoughtfulness and compassion towards my very nervous dog. Brie especially has been a pleasure to work with over the years and runs a fantastic business. Highly recommend.

RUN, don't walk away from this place. We left our 2 dogs here for a week when when we got married and our dogs were NOT well cared for. First, when we got them back, they were very thin as if they hadn't been eating and extremely timid, hiding behind us and away from the staff, and these are very social dogs. To make matters worse, despite emailing them the day before we got back to make sure our dogs were ok, we came back to find one of our dogs with a huge infected wound on his neck (I posted the pic).

It looked like he had been bitten by another dog and it was never treated. The staff pushed us out the door so fast we only noticed it when we got to the parking lot. To top it off, when we went back about 30 seconds later to find out what happened, the doors were locked and no one was there. It took multiple phone calls and over an hour to get someone back there. Finally, as if all that wasn't enough, both of our dogs got kennel cough. I will NEVER even walk my dogs past this place let alone have them care for my dogs. They should be shut down!

I've been using Wicker Pet for walks for about 3 months now. They always come on time and leave a note which is great. I have no worries about the walks themselves. My main concern with them is their scheduling. To have a walk scheduled you must call before 830am the day of. Sounds reasonable, but I usually have to try them at least 3 times to get anyone.

I also had an issue changing from the 15 minute walk to the 25min. After 2 months of being billed only for the 15 min ones I gave them a call and low and behold they'd only been walking him for 15 min. (Even though I clearly specified 25 every time.) Anytime I do get them on the phone, they are always wonderful. Very polite and helpful. PS they only do walks from 11-3 Mon-Fri which is a bummer.

We take our 75 lb boxer to Wicker for up to a week at a time to board when we go out of town. He LOVES it. When we open the door, he runs in and dances with excitement. When we pick him up he is stinky but otherwise in good shape. One Sunday in the summer he was soaking wet when we picked him up because they had been playing with a hose in the back and he was so happy.

The people that work here are nice and seem to genuinely love what they're doing. It's not the cheapest, but when Ieave him there I know he is in good hands and when we pick him up he will be in good spirits and he'll be healthy and tuckered out. (We had to take him elsewhere at Christmas because Wicker was booked and when we came back he had some kind of stomach issues and was lethargic for a few days afterward - not going back there!) We will definitely keep coming back - and I highly recommend it!

I think the people here were extremely nice and the dogs seemed well watched; however, I did not take my dog here to get daycare, I brought her in for a wash and brush out. When I picked my dog up- her hair did not get brushed at all, there was still eye crust in her eyes, she didn't smell clean and there was tumbleweed in her hair. I was very disappointed and washed and brushed her as soon as I got home- exactly what I paid $32 not to do. : I was very disappointed and will not be going back to this location for grooming.

I recently boarded my cat for the first time here. He has special needs and needs injections so that made it difficult to find a boarding center that would take him). I was happy to find Wicker Pet to house him for the weekend. Overall, they did a really good job of keeping in communication with us throughout the weekend. They were very forthcoming about having issues giving him his medicine since he was kind of terrified of the environment.

The reason for the three is simply for the environment for cats to stay in. I think this is a great facility for dogs based on what I saw but not so much for cats. They are placed in a basement that smells and has nothing but dark cages the cats sit in all day. When I say dark, I mean the cages have a door that basically allows for no light to come in.

My cat was raised by us spending no time in a shelter so he was obviously terrified any way. Overall, the care was good and the price was beyond reasonable but I don't recommend taking a kitty here unless they are used to being boarded. I'd highly recommend better facilities for the kitties. They need light :)

My dog Tito is a weird dude. Particular and neurotic on one hand, affectionate and goofy on the other. At first I couldn't get him to leave the house on the days he knew he was going to daycare (he doesn't like changes in routine). Now, he clearly doesn't want to leave WP when I pick him up after work. And the noises of excitement when he sees Ben or Brie? Yeah.he doesn't do that for me. Is it wrong I'm kinda jealous that he likes the staff better than he likes me?

Not to mention the folks are Wicker Pet are SUPER accommodating - last minute drop offs or walk cancellations (he goes to daycare & is walked by the WP staff, usually Melissa who is great)? No problem. And. TWICE now I have locked myself out of my house very early in the morning wearing weird dog walking/workout clothes and Ben has saved me with the extra set of my keys they have on hand. And he doesn't judge though he really, really could. If Tito approves, I approve. And Tito's approval borders on obsession.
