Specialized in the treatment of behavioral issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, and hyperactivity. Each class will be held for 7 sessions and each class is 75 minutes. More than one owner may attend. Classes have limited availability to maximize individual attention to each puppy and owner.
Puppy Kadet Training is a great opportunity for you and your puppy to learn 36 different words and patterns. These patterns will be used in all sorts of environments including your home. In this class, you will also learn how to boost your pup's confidence by building a solid foundation so that your puppy becomes an intelligent dog.
Cis Frankel has helped my husband and me out tremendously with our Vizsla pup, Harper. When we decided to get a puppy, we were excited about the adventures we would have exploring the city, going on hikes, taking her on trips with us, and how fun it would be to bring the little pup into our lives. We both had puppies before so we were not naive about the amount of work a puppy takes; however, what we did not anticipate was a puppy who was literally terrified of everything - to the point of visibly shaking and not being able to walk down the street.

Although she markets as a world-class trainer, these group classes have no structure or learning goals, operate out of a garage, with no precautions to the puppy's health, vaccines, or COVID - an overall uncomfortable experience. Once I expressed dissatisfaction, the underlying motives came out - $$$. This is not a legitimate business.

I started CIA with my 6 month old puppy who has benefitted greatly from his puppy class. The experience of learning in a real like city scenario is unmatched to other training programs I considered. Cis knows what she is talking about and truly understands different behaviors of different dogs and breeds, creating a targeted approach to your dog. Trust her process and be patient to see results. Cis makes learning with your dog a fun experience for both the pet and owner!

Brought our puppy to Cis' puppy training class and was impressed with her expertise-- she knows dogs and helps you understand what you need to do to properly communicate with your dog. She even will contact you outside of class time to check in on how your pup is progressing towards training goals, which is rare. It's clear that she genuinely cares about making sure every pup that comes through her training program succeeds!

Cis Frankel of Canine Intelligence Agency is amazing! I have known Cis for almost 16 years. She worked with my previous dog and has recently been training my new puppy. I have taken both group lessons and private lessons. All of the lessons have been very effective. My puppy is only 4 months old and is already very well trained. People are very impressed when they meet my puppy. Also, my puppy loves Cis! I would highly recommend Cis and Canine Intelligence Agency for private and group lessons.

NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. So let me be honest, Cis is an a great dog trainer for private training. However, she has almost zero sense of how to run a business or a group class except collecting your money. She lacks Organization, starting one class with "so, what do you guys want to learn today"? Sure she has a book, which she hands out with glee at the end of the first class, then promptly never refer's to it again?
She is too cheap to buy a commercial space, so frequently your in the hastily blocked off ALLEY (yeah, its illegal to use alley for a business and neighbors drive thru class) of her personal home where you can try to have a class when it's 99 degrees with no shade. Oh, her garage has air conditioning, but to save a buck, she wont turn that on. Her other favorite play place is the Oz park, where its illegal to take a dog off leash (she does it anyway). She. frequently plays favorites for her classes with owners, during inclement weather, she says folks who travel farther are the determinant of if the class will be postponed?
In the end, we stopped going after another owner accused us of treating there dog for bad behavior, when we pointed out it was not true, Cis came over quickly to scold us for rewarding one of her "favorite" customers pet? She does not insist on Dog's medical records, so your taking a big chance. I have tried several services and I can say highly organized, commercial space places with documented training plans, videos, and a website are the best option (and are cheaper). So save your money and go elsewhere (I went with Tucker).

Working with Cis has been a great experience not only for our puppy, but for us as well. We have all learned a lot, and our dog has made so much progress the last 3 months. The classes are small and in many different environments which really allow for personal attention and socialization. Cis covers all the basics, but also adds a layer of training specific to the city such as leash handling and street safety, which has really made walking are dog a lot of fun! I definitely recommend working with Cis and we will continue to!
