We moved to Chicago recently and were scared to board our dog since we don't know the area well yet but had a close friends wedding to attend to. Dogaholics went above and beyond! Every worker we talked with were so nice & accommodating & they all loved our sweet girl! They never got annoyed when we asked questions and were so attentive. Highly recommend them as we were blown away. A special shout out to Jake who had to deal with me & my fiance's million questions and was so nice & patient! Will definitely be going back.

The absolute best daycare. The staff is incredible, very attentive, and genuinely cares about your pet. Leo is always so excited to go and comes home happy and tired.

Dogaholics is amazing and I can't recommend them enough! I would rather wait to get my dog an appointment to get groomed with them, then take her sooner to any other groomer. They're so sweet and gentle, always remember/recognize me and my dog and always to a fantastic job grooming her. I'm so thankful to have found people I can trust with my best friend.

Have been taking my dog here since I adopted him insect 2020. Dogaholics is fantastic. Great frienfly and caring staff. I know my Charlie is in good hands when he's there.

I cannot say enough good things about dogaholics! Our dog loves it there and in never afraid of going in when we drop him off. They are a little pricy, but the peace of mind knowing your dog is safe and happy is well worth it.

We have bringing out dogs for grooming for many years. Cathy does a wonderful job. She is professional and so kind to our pups.

I've just started taking our pup, Sadie, to Dogaholics, for daycare. They have been wonderful from setting up an appointment for her evaluation for their services, to welcoming us and filling us in on their services, to greeting us when we arrive and filling me in on how she does while she is there. Sadie is a COVID pup and suffers from separation anxiety, but, she comes home from Dogaholics pretty calm and unscathed, so I feel confident that she is not feeling any trauma from attending daycare, which is a testament to their caregivers. So far, I couldn't be happier for Sadie and for myself, as they provide a much needed break for us a couple of days each week. Thanks, guys!

I have experienced many groomers in the Chicago area, for my long coated shih tzu. The grooming service at Dogaholics has out performed all of the others! My shih tzu looks like a show dog when his grooming is complete and he seems calm and happy when I pick him up. Thank you for your dedicated and loving service! I highly recommend you!

Love this place and more importantly, so do our pups! Staff is awesome and always happy to see the dogs and take very good care of them when we board them. Super convenient to our home, easy process of check in and out. Board our boys their quite often and trust them implicitly.

We love Dogaholics! We have been sending our dog to daycare during the week for over a year now. They are great at posting updates on Instagram throughout the day, we love seeing our puppy in videos! During the summer they offer pup ice cream which is a great treat for our puppy. We have also had a positive experience boarding our dog here a handful of times from one night to ten nights. Highly recommend!

We bring our husky here at least twice a week and absolutely love it. We have busy schedules and really appreciate having the option for him to be picked up and dropped off when needed. He always has a great time and is so excited to go (he loves watching for his taxi to show up and then sprints to the door). The team is wonderful and communicates well with us.

We always know he is in good hands when he is there. We have used their grooming service as well and have been pleased but we have to remember to book early because they book up so fast (always a good sign!)

They made it right! Called us multiple times and emailed to get our dog scheduled for our engagement pictures. THANK YOU!

Our favorite groomer in the Southport/Roscoe Village area! They work quickly, usually taking about an hour or so before I'm called for pickup. Murphy always comes home looking fresh, trim, and smelling like bubble bath.

Dogaholics is truly one of a kind! The staff cares and loves the pups like their own. My dog is always so excited to go to daycare and is absolutely in love with the entire staff. They post instagram updates of the dogs at daycare having fun which is always great to see too. You can even message them and ask for an update on your dog. One of my favorite aspects of dogaholics is that there is an outdoor space.

In the winter, they can frolic around in the snow, and in the summer, they bring out mini pools and hoses to keep the dogs cool. It makes me happy knowing that my dog gets to play outside and socialize with other dogs. When I use to have to work late, the staff was always extremely accommodating with late pickups. I truly cannot recommend this place more.

Finding a facility you can trust to care for your dog and love them like your own is special. This is that place for us thanks to the Dogaholics team! Great grooming experience! My dog is a collie-corgi mix, and not only does her fur grow super fast, but she sheds a lot, so she's a bit high maintenance. They did a great job with her cut, and she 100% benefited from the de-shedding service. She looks (and probably feels) so much lighter now. I was also happy that they were willing to go back in and trim under her tail and down her hind legs. She's definitely got a corgi butt but when I first came in to get her, the cut was a bit choppy.

The staff was very nice when I pointed it out, and took her to the back and evened her out. Finally, very grateful they let me sit inside while we waited for our Uber (which took ages to arrive) on this extra cold day. I'll definitely be coming back!

Had such a nice experience here the other day! They only take walk-ins for nail trims, so I popped over there the other day during lunch. The woman immediately was able to take my pup in, and he was in-and-out in less than 5 minutes. He even came out sporting a little cute bandana. It was just $12, which is a fair price and definitely around the same as you'd pay for those big-named pet stores. Highly recommend!

Dogaholics has had my business & the care of my dogs since moving to this neighborhood, over 7 years ago. But, I'm writing a review now, as our lives have been turned upside down & so much has changed; but Dogaholics has kept up & continued to offer the same attentive, warm hearted service, I've experienced since I 1st walked through their doors.

Their adjustment to Covid has been thoughtful & seamless. Even as they reopened after a mandatory shut down, their staff never broke stride. During the brief closure, I held my breath, nearly walked my dog's legs off & hoped, another small business, in our community would make it back. Dogaholics persevered & surpassed my expectations, adjusting to our new normal, with ease.

Truth be told, drop offs & pick up are easier & more efficient. Our family has 2 dogs. My youngest, my bulldog is deaf, highly energetic & sometimes anxious, due to his disability. While my Mama dog & I have done our best to teach him the basics. Dogaholics offers him the freedom, open play & ability to just fit in & feel like a normal dog with the same consideration & expectations, as others. And for that, I say THANK YOU!

I took my 5 month Pomeranian puppy here for a grooming after finding this place on Yelp. The reviews led me to believe this was an established and reputable place of business. I dropped off my dog and gave simple instructions. Please keep him as "fluffy" and true to a Pomeranian as possible. Tapper the feet and clip his toenails. I picked him up after an hour to find him almost completely shaved.

Who shaves a Pomeranian double coat?! His face was full and beautiful before and it has been cut so short that he is unrecognizable. I'm so disappointed. I will never come back especially paying $65 for this.

I have been taking my shih tzu here for over 3 years. Every other week for grooming. Kathy is the groomer and she does an amazing job. We have always been so happy with the service. The staff is so professional and friendly. Kelsey is amazing and treats our fur baby like her own. Cannot recommend more highly

We have been taking our hound dog Boomer to Dogaholics since he was a puppy (he's 6), and we couldn't be happier with them! All the handlers are incredibly kind and loving. Plus, they do such sweet extras, like posting loads of adorable pics on social media, giving out doggie treats for the holidays, and keeping me updated on Boomer and his buddies at daycare. Boomer is crazy about the treats, naps, and playtime he gets with them! I can't wait to start bringing our 2nd puppy as soon as she's old enough

Dogaholics has been our pups favorite spot since we moved to Chicago last August! The staff are amazing and respond to any questions or concerns quickly. Highly recommend this daycare for any dog!

Great local place to all your pet care beds. Our golden retriever loves getting groomed there and they do a great job.

I love Dogaholics. Their staff is incredibly kind and caring. I've been taking my dog, Mr. T, to doggy day care for about a year. He always gets super excited when we get close. When he gets home it's dinner time and after a long day of being social and playing he is relaxed and ready to go to bed. I can't sing their praises enough. It's very comforting to know that they take care of your dog as if it was one of their own. I appreciate their attention to detail and excitement when Mr. T arrives. Thank you so much Dogaholics!

We have been taking our corgi Gus to Dogaholics for almost three years now (daycare, grooming, and boarding) and have nothing but good things to say. We have no doubt that it has helped him become the friendly and sociable dog that he is. He is always excited to go and never wants to leave. The staff is fantastic, especially Sammie and Kelsey. They are truly passionate about dogs, friendly and professional, and Gus adores them.

We have his Playaholic of the Month picture framed in our kitchen! We are moving just outside of Chicago soon and are completely heartbroken to leave Dogaholics (literally more than anything else), but we will definitely still use them for our boarding needs!

Our two dogs love Dogaholics! They look forward to going to daycare and get so excited to see their friends. The staff is amazing - so thoughtful, caring and really take the time to get to know your dog's personality. We also utilize the grooming services, which are fantastic. We are so lucky to have Dogaholics in the neighborhood!

All I can say is, "meh". New to the area and decided to get my golden mix his first hair cut to get a break from the heat. Called Dogaholics and first appointment I could get was 11 days in the future. (nice - I must be in the wrong biz!) The day before his appt I got an email saying "if you dont send your shot records in, we will cancel your appointment".

I found that rude, as I never got an email confirmation or anything else in ten days asking me to upload said records, or I would have. My dog gets baths all the time, and I've always just brought his shot records with me when I drop off, but. Whatever. Dropped him off and said "first cut, want to make him cooler but open to your advice as I've not had him cut before" - the tech nodded her head, said ok and took my dog. Ok, whatever.

They finished in 90 minutes, charged me $100 and put on a bandana. He didn't smell shampooed, and he still has a ton of hair, but his legs and hind quarters seem to have been trimmed. Noticed the next day his nails were super long - maybe that wasn't included in the hundred bucks, guess I should have asked. IDK - not an expert on dog grooming but def wouldn't spend a hundred dollars on THAT experience again. Live and learn i guess.

I can't give Dogaholics enough stars. The staff truly cares about the dogs they are looking after and it is obvious in every interaction you have.but even rarer is they are truly out to serve their members. I have my puppy, Maggie, there on a 3x week monthly package. Unfortunately, due to medical issues, Maggie is temporarily unable to attend daycare by order from the vet.

I called to temporarily hold the reoccurring monthly payment until she is able to go full time. Not only did Dogaholics suspend the account, but they refunded me for the half month that Maggie hasn't been able to go to- which was totally unexpected! This is an incredible company for both the puppies and their owners, and I can't wait until Maggie is able to come back full-time!
