FurtheLoveOfYourPet is a personalized pet care service provider. Each client receives the highest quality care and dedication and we earnestly try our very best to always be available. We try to accommodate on call service requests but almost always require at least a two week notice to reserve housesitting/Overnight/Vacation requests and at least 48 hours to accommodate dog walking and pet sitting services. If a rush hour booking is requested, a rush hour fee will be incurred. Maria is the ultimate service professional!

Maria Viegas has over 15 years of Anesthesia-Free dental cleaning experience. Too many owners don't take a regular look inside their pet's mouth. When dental care is ignored, tooth and gum disease can cause pain, as well as contribute to infections in important organs (heart, liver, kidney). Dogs and cats instinctually hide pain, so a cracked tooth may not elicit the kind of reaction it would in us. Regular dental care can add years to your pet's life. Anesthesia-free dental cleanings are appropriate for dogs and cats with minor tarter buildup.
Fur the love of your pet is just wonderful! Maria (and Linda too) have been taking care of our sweet puppy during the work day a few times a week. They provide midday visits for Bodie to play and potty. They are prompt, provide pictures and updates of how Bodie is doing, and genuinely care about the wellbeing of our boy, which is priceless.

After moving to San Diego in 2017, I started using Fur The Love of Your Pet to take care of my two cats anytime I travel, and I've had a wonderful experience. I've had both Maria and Linda cat-sit for me, and both of my cats know and love both of them. It's such a relief to know when you're away from home that your pets are safe. I always receive a notification of the sitter's GPS location when they arrive at my house and at least a couple of cute photos of my cats, along with a message with any notes or questions. Maria also offers nail cutting services and did a great job with ours on her last visit. Highly, highly recommend this business for your pet-sitting needs!

Maria is fabulous! She's reliable and always makes sure to send us updates on our sweet baby girl, complete with reports and funny pictures. I appreciate her updates and her attention to details like how many times my pup goes to the bathroom and how often she eats. She makes sure our pup receives lots of love and attention and it makes all the difference in the world to us. I recommend her services.

How do i start by saying Maria is great. I've never had a dog walker before and was looking for a great one. I downloaded wag, rover and ultimately found Maria on yelp. She first came over and met my dog and she was great off the back. My dog instantly loved her. I set up an appointment and she came over right on time and sent picture of my dog. She let me know how the walk went and at the end send a check list of what my dog did. Example, pee, poop.
She makes sure she has plenty of water and gives her treats as I asked her too. Recently it was my dogs birthday and out of the kindness of her heart she brought my dog a treat. I honestly don't know what else anyone would look for in a dog walker than charismatic, loving, and super friendly. I highly recommend you chose her as your dog walker!

When we discovered Fur the Love Of Your Pet it came from staff in our long time vet's office. What a find! For the last 2 years Maria, whose soul is deeply entangled with her furry friends, has reliably fed, played with, and handled other well-being duties as needed by our kitties. She was invaluable when taking on end-of-life maintenance fluids and medications for our 18 yr old cat while we needed to be out of town.
She has kept up in her formal training as a vet tech. Each visit is documented real time over her cell phone to us showing a gps map with her current location, a brief description of our kitty's health along with a photo, and the time checking into the house and leaving the house. She has good communication skills, good attention to the cat's needs, and a real love for her furry charges. Do not hesitate to trust your pet to Maria!

Maria and team have been caring for my pup for about two years now, and it's given me ease of being away from home during the work day for so many hours. She always notifies me when she's onsite and how things went while she was there, and her communication is very reliable. I also appreciate that she's bonded, certified, and insured as it gives me peace of mind to know there are reliable people in my home taking care of things when I'm not there. My dog also super appreciates the treats, belly rubs, and attention she gets!

Have been using Maria for about 4-5 years now so this review is long overdue. Maria does a great job looking after our kitties every time we go out of town. She is flexible and easy going and most importantly an animal lover. I could tell the minute I met her. I have been pleased each time I use her. Her services also include: picking up the mail, watering plants, food water play time with your pet, leaving daily notes, and she even texts us pic updates! Leaving my kitties for a long time is hard enough, but knowing they are in good hands with Maria means the world to us! You won't go wrong with her.

I travel quite a bit for work and have three cats and relatively new to San Diego and did a Yelp search and found Fur The Luv of Your Pets which had great reviews. Maria also had exceptional reviews as well as credentials which was a great start. She scheduled an appointment in advance if my first trip to meet my babies in person. Our initial meeting was amazing as all three of them instantly walked up to her to say hello; this typically does not happen.

In addition, Maria is very knowledgeable and provides helpful recommendations and she keeps me informed of how Mason, Malloy and Blue are doing. I've been hiring Maria for pet sitting of my two kitties for about a year now. She is wonderful with my kitties and they love her! Maria has pet sat for me while on extended trips, Most recently though, she swooped in and saved the day while I had a medical emergency and was hospitalized. I was out of kitty litter and on my way to buy more when I had to go to the ER.
I contacted Maria from the hospital and she was able to pick up litter and feed my cats. I don't know what I would have done without her! I've also boarded my cats before I found Fur The Love of Your Pet. Its definitely reassuring to know that my cats can stay in the comfort of our home and are in good hands with Maria. Our family LOVES Maria & Fur the Love of Your Pet! She has been taking care of our fur babies for almost 4 years now and she is part of the family. Our dogs adore her, and run to greet her every time she comes to the door, which is a definite sign to me that she is good to them!. She is loving with them and very responsible with our one baby who has allergies and needs special supplements and care. I trust her completely with my kiddos & would recommend her to any friends or family!
