Services
At Dirty Paws our number one concern is customer satisfaction along with the health and well being of your furry companion in the San Diego Area. All dog grooms have set appointments times and are usually no longer than 3 hours. We provide an all inclusive full service groom, which includes bath, hair cut, nails, ears and anal glands at one price.
San Diego dogs are active and our weather is ideal for days spent on the trails or at the beach. Let us take care of your fur babies bath needs. Not all dogs require a hair cutting service but they do need scrubbing and brush out in between those active days of running and playing. Dirty Paws offers a detailed bath service to assure your pet returns looking and feeling their best.
We offer Self Wash services for when your pet needs a quick bath in a convenient San Diego location. Our store is well equipped with raised tubs and offers shampoo, towels, and high powered dryers. Please call and schedule your self-wash time slot. Leave the splash and hair mess here. You just provide the love.
I did self service for first time today, great option for a difficult dogs! Nice and clean place and great staff! I will be right back! This place is awesome! I take my 2 year Cane Corso and he loves it. They have all sorts of shampoos and stuff to make them smell nice. Other places use cheap products so your dog ends up smelling the same but dirty paws is the real deal.

I've brought my dog here to get washed for two years, and I've never had a problem. The last two times were a different story. On each occasion, I got my dog back still wet all over and not particularly clean smelling. She was still shedding hair, too. I had two years of appointments where I got her back dry, and smelling fresh so it definitely struck me as odd.
More importantly, two days after my latest two appointments, my dog was in widespread pain. She became lethargic, was constantly panting and would flinch everytime she was touched. Before I realized what was going on, I tried to pet her to comfort her causing her let out a horrible yelp. She even whipped around and almost bit me - something she has NEVER done.
Her skin was obviously causing her pain. The first time I chalked it up to coincidence that she became ill right after coming here, but after the second time I'm convinced it's related to the wash. I don't know if it's different products or difference in technique by new groomers. Regardless, I cannot subject my dog to the trauma of being washed here again. :

We've been coming here for a while, we took our last husky and now our newest member which is another husky. Extremely nice customer service. You can wash and dry your dog yourself they have everything. Aprons, products, air dryers and even perfume all for 15 bucks or you can have them clean your dog for more. They also cut hair and nails. Highly recommend.
