Great grooming service, super sweet staff! Need cash for tip- And lovely shop with the best treats :

I called to book a grooming appointment today and had a really unfortunate interaction. The first thing he asked, "Has your dog been groomed with us before?" I replied, yes - several times. He said, "oh it looks like you haven't groomed with us in over a year." (sounding immediately turned off). He said, "oh well in that case we don't have appointments for 3-4 weeks".

I played along and said, "okay, well can I book one and if something comes up I will reach out?" He said, "we take deposits so you'll have to call back." My dog has been groomed there several times and I've always tipped well and bought things in the shop. I never cancelled an appointment either. I was just very put off by this interaction - he just came off so pretentious and unhelpful. I understand they put priority to frequent customers but wow, what a turn off.

We moved to the neighborhood a few years back and Akesh and his staff quickly became favorites of ours. They're incredibly kind, flexible with trying out new products for the pup, knowledgeable about everything in their store, and always with a smile. Outstanding for every day products and grooming alike.

Akesh, is why I come back to this store! He is so friendly, personable, and kind. He remembers my pets and their likes and dislikes. He even remembered their size when it comes to buying ridiculous dog clothing for them! Prices are fair and competitive, and if he doesn't have something he knows where to go to get it and will do his best to get it for you. This is my pet store and I'll go here no matter where I live in Chicago.

I've been here before in the past and Jude did a beautiful job on my dog. I had another appointment with Jude but had to switch the day and groomer. Before my dogs full grooming, I met with Angel to discuss clearly what we wanted my dog's cut to look like. Some mild matts were noted on my dog and we discussed to not completely shave to the skin. We both agreed with this plan.

My dog is groomed every 2 months with no issues and brushed almost every single day, so when she came back completely shaved, I was shocked. When speaking to the manager he was very unapologetic and rude about this situation. He also tried to blame me for other bad reviews in the past that he deleted. he then proceeded to give me back her cut fur in a bag trying to make me feel bad for some mild matts my dog had.

I originally did not want a refund but because he was being so disrespectful, I asked for it and he said no. DO NOT COME HERE. Update: Angel, the groomer, was paid in full with tip, yet she is telling lies on her instagram account to get clients to write good reviews on her and the owner. I already apologized for any inconvenience I caused them. yet they continue to spread lies.

This shop is a gem of the neighborhood! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and will go out of their way to be accommodating. I've been bringing my little cockapoo in to get groomed by Angel for over a year now and she does an acceptable job every time! So much love for this shop!

Wow, I honestly cannot imagine a less professional business. Not only did my dog come out looking like I groomed him myself while I was sleeping, but the way Angel acted was honestly appalling. The fact that people think they can run a business like that blows my mind. BUYER BEWARE. Do NOT go here! Way better groomers in the area. Edit: this company is trash and having friends and family contact me on social media and yelp harassing me is a horrible look.

I see you posted someone else's review on social media and called her a clown. Wow. CLASSY. An owner with any kind of desire to continue their business would apologize for this behavior. Sorry sorry excuse for a company. Tl;dr nightmare of a business. Take your money elsewhere.

While the retail section of Doggy Style curates a wonderful selection of dog supplies, the real magic lies in their grooming staff. Angel is a wonder with big dogs and long coats; she consistently keeps my great pyr looking as spiffy as possible! Beyond being a magician with knowing how much to take off while maintaining the coat the breed needs, she also has the touch to make them love her in return-- Winnie always knows what's happening when we walk in and immediately perks up!

Angel is a fantastic groomer. You can tell she has a ton of experience and spends time educating us on how to better maintain our dog's coat. She always leaves our Bernedoodle looking so cute.

Akash is a amazing, and really takes his time answering any questions about grooming or nutrition needs. Angel has been grooming my dog for some time now. She always does and amazing job! Pluto absolutely loves her, and even lets Angel trim his nails! She has even done some adorable dye (of course its dog friendly dyes) jobs! You cant find this sort of customer service anywhere else!

This is my favorite pet shop in the city! Akash is very attentive and knowledgeable and always makes great recommendations based on your pets needs. Angel is THE BEST groomer in the city! My dog is an 108lb panther basically, who hates water and getting groomed, but he responds so well to Angel! I couldn't get in for over 3 months because she was still on her honeymoon and booked solid and I waited because no one has ever done as amazing as a job as she does- or is as gentle and what I call a "dog whisperer" my dog loves her. So so I! Run, don't walk to doggy style!

My biggest concern originally before the haircut was not wanting them "shave" her fur or her face, but make her face round instead. It's sad to say, but my dog is ugly and it looks like she was shaved as if she had an infectious disease. this is clearly what i tried to avoid. The manager was very passive aggressive and rude when we were trying to resolve the issue of my dog's haircut. I was really taken back by the way he responded and handled the situation, very poor customer service skills.

The best pet store in all of Chicago. The owner is tremendously helpful and introduced us to raw feeding, which has been a lifesaver for our Labrador with a sensitive stomach. Always friendly, always happy to help, and a great local store that everyone should patronize. Highly recommend.

Buy Primal raw frozen & freeze dried cat food here. Always have the favorites stocked and recommendations are solid with experience.

I highly recommend Doggy Style pet shop for their pet sitting services. I've used their pet sitting services for my 2 cats for several years when I travel. They come right to your house and feed, play with, and give meds to my cats, as well as scoop litter. April and the pet sitters are very trustworthy and dedicated and really care about the animals.

They also provide text and picture updates during their visit, which provides peace of mind. What I like best is that I don't have to worry about my cats while I travel because I know they're being taken care of, especially since one of my cats needs daily medication.

Recently moved to the neighborhood and needed a groomer for my almost 13 year old long-haired dachshund. Tried Doggy Style a few days ago. Angel did a wonderful job and took great care in making Ozzie comfortable in a new environment. Thanks so much!

We have been seeing Jude for grooming for about a year ago and are always really happy with our dog's grooming - she is a labradoodle. Jude is very sweet and easy to work with. We also buy all of our dog food and treats from Doggy Style. The owner, Cash, is so friendly and always gives our dog treats when we come in the store. She drags us in to visit whenever we walk down Division!

Everyone has said how great the store is, but I'd like to review their grooming. They were excellent. We brought our 65 lb goldendoodle there and they did a great job. Akash got back to me promptly when I asked about pricing and grooming services. They called a day before to confirm the appointment. They were very reasonable with their prices. Much better than some of the other groomers in the area.

My wife and I are really happy we were able to find a good groomer within walking distance of us. It's a lot less that we have to worry about now. Highly recommend this shop for grooming. It's easy to tell that these people just genuinely like animals as well, which makes it even easier to keep coming here.

Had a great experience here as a first time customer. Kayla and her team were responsive and so kind and friendly. During quarantine, we had let our mini golden doodle get a little scraggly and were so pleased when Kayla could fit us in for a Sunday afternoon appointment. I got a call the day before to confirm the appointment and it was a breeze dropping off our pup. Kayla was even great with our other dog who we brought in to browse around the shop!

Our dog is usually nervous at the groomers but felt like she was in such good hands. She got a really even, professional cut and her face (which can often get cut a bit wonky with her curly doo) turned out to be so cute. The feedback after the cut was a really nice service, she let us know what parts were more matted and therefore a bit more sensitive since they had to shave closer to my dogs skin. Grooming services and the selection of treats here are great. Don't hesitate to support this local business which goes out of its way to provide an excellent experience.

This place is very nice and fancy! Why not a 5 star? They are so pricey! Everytime I want to buy something I can't because of the expensive cost. They have plenty variety if things for your pet. They even have frozen bones! I ordered a name tag for my dog Barry, and the staff was so nice, friendly and helpfull!. Place is very clean, they are allowing inside shops with fave mask, social distancing, and constant hand wash!

If you want fancy dog leash, unique chicago flag style, and specific dog food, this is your place! Has a great location, even just to pop in and take a look around. I really like it, I wish their prices were a little more budget friendly! But I come when I'm walking by, just to checkout their new things!

They gave my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel an adorable puppy cut, along with the full grooming works. She looks and smells amazing, and skittish as she usually tends to be after grooming, she seemed surprisingly calm and happy after this appointment. Very happy to have Doggy Style close! We even left with a fancy new leash.

My 10 month old goldendoodle just got groomed there and it was absolutely amazing! I couldn't ask the groomers name but she did an awesome job and the owner Akash is super nice and professional. My puppy gets pretty anxious about things like this so we told them in advance that he might be a little anxious/squirmy. And the owner told us not to worried as they have the experienced groomers and can handle anxious puppies.

He asked us to come in before the store opens so they could take some extra time to groom my puppy. Very friendly and great service! affordable pricing as well. This place is awesome :

Dog walking services are the best. Rebecca, who walks our dog Ollie, loves dogs and is available for walks and overnights. I always was hesitant to bring someone into my house, as I am super private. Rebecca is totally trustworthy, sends photo and update on walk and Ollie is excited to see her.

We LOVE Doggy Style Pet Shop. My pup Gigi always comes back looking fresh and on point. She's a mini goldendoodle, and has come back from other spots looking. crazy. The groomer at Doggy Style does the exact cut I had always wanted, and each time it is consistent with the cut before. The staff is also super upbeat and happy which I love. They seem to love their job and I just love going in to see what new merch they have too. Lots of cute leashes and collars. :

I hate that I'm writing this because it means I've had to find a new dog walker and it's only because I'm moving :( I can't say enough good things about this shop and their dog walking services. Rebeca has been my walker for over a year. She was so patient with my little guy who can get a bit feisty. If he was having a bad day she'd do anything she could to get him on a leash.

She would send me the best pictures and just by her daily updates I could tell how much she really cared for them. Kayla, the manager, is so nice and so accommodating. If I had to switch days or times she did everything she could to make it work. She even made mock up schedules to see if they could accommodate me after my move but I'm just too far :( I've also loved every time my dogs have been groomed there! They'll walk the dogs, take them to get groomed and drop them off all while I'm at work! They also have self wash tubs that are convenient and fairly priced. I'm so sad to see them go!

They have dog friendly birthday cakes here! Found in the mini cooler, located as soon as you walk in by the register. There was a vendor with free samples there when we went on Saturday. DO NOT park in the parking lot by the bank across from this business. It is private parking with a sign. Two guys in a black SUV wait for you to leave the parking lot, boot your car wheel, and then charge you $170. To avoid this fee have one person wait in the car-- that way they can't charge you!

This place is awesome. I brought in my 160lb English Mastiff to do a self bath. The bathtubs are low to the ground and have an entrance in the back. If you have a big dog that's a huge feature. The tubs are big and the water can be adjusted however you'd like it. Lots of brushes available to use as well. After over a decade of having a dog in the city and going to various self service places this was the most enjoyable.
