Pet Care Plus

Prices are somewhat on par for a groom. Disorganized admin/front desk who routinely makes mistakes, and *slow* grooming services. I'm talking 5 hours instead of 2-3 for one dog.

As I've started traveling again it's been fantastic to know Tucker is with such kind and loving care at PCP. I always feel well informed on how he's doing and he always enters the door of PCP excited and leaves pooped after several days of fun. Grateful for the entire team!

I took my dog to another groomer and was very unhappy with the service. I found Pet Care Plus and couldn't be happier. Summer did an excellent job with my F1 mini goldendoodle, especially when her hair is not typical for a goldendoodle. The value was great too. I'll definitely be bringing my dog back to see Summer!

I have tried their grooming service twice now. I highly recommend Summer the groomer. I liked how she asked me how I would like to style my dog and I really liked she gave me an update after the groom as well. More importantly I am very satisfied with my dog haircut and she smelled so great for a few days afterward! Would love to try their daycare service too for my dog!

They are so kind and always do a great job grooming my cavapoo, Ziggy. They always give him a super cute scarf and he loves going there.

Very happy with the grooming services here, have not yet tried boarding. They did a great job with my pup! I find the pricing to be fair and the website is a convenient way to find an appointment time that works for you. Only thing to note is that the time it takes for me to get a pick up call is quite variable, anywhere from 2-4 hours. I am too happy with the grooming job they do to hold this against them though! The staff and facilities at Pet Care Plus are outstanding. We've been taking our dog here since he was a puppy and he is so excited when we pull up outside. He strains his leash trying to get in the door! All of the staff know his name and are so great with him. I check on him during the day on the Webcam and love watching him play with his buddies - especially in the pool. Too cute! I've referred friends who have become regular customers as well. Pet Care Plus is A+!

Summer groomed my Tammy (standard poodle) this morning and I'm over the moon about the service my pup received. She received the exact cut that I requested (which wasn't easy) and she looks amazing. I feel like I got more than my moneys worth. I'll definitely be booking with Summer again. Thank you!

Oni visited Gina recently for grooming. He's always happy to see her and returned home looking sharp. Love this place--professional, friendly staff and my pup is always ready for a return visit.

Several misses in the grooming of my pup. Had to take him to another groomer. Don't waste your time or money here. The least they could've done was refund me after I called and gave feedback. Instead, one of the managers just got defensive. If you want to run a business properly, you need to be open to feedback from your customers. Because of your inability to receive feedback and just refund me for the poor service that was provided, you've now lost someone who was previously a loyal customer and you've lost potential clients from anyone who reads this review. Negative experiences also spread really fast through word of mouth and negatively impact businesses. Poor grooming and poor management. Zero stars.

We've been taking Charlie to daycare at PetCare Plus for almost 2 years now, since he was a puppy! We got Charlie during COVID and it was so hard to socialize him. We wanted to take him to a place we could trust. We scoped around a few daycares and found PetCare Plus to be the best fit! The staff seem to really care about the pups and they had some really good COVID precautions early on in the pandemic. Charlie has never had a bad time.

Every time we drop him off, he is really excited! We usually drop him off early in the morning (8am) and pick him up around 5pm. Their pick up and drop off hours are really flexible and long, which means Charlie gets a lot of playtime! I think they give the pups a good break during lunch, which is nice, so they don't get delirious! When it's warm out, the pups get to play outside.

And in the summer, we get Charlie a few pool passes and he gets to play outside in the pool. Charlie LOVES the pool. He doesn't always jump in immediately, but it's fun to watch him jump in after the ball. All of the play areas have cameras, which we really appreciate! Sometimes instead of catching up on errands, chores, or work, we find ourselves just watching Charlie! It's great. I can't recommend PetCarePlus enough

We've been going to Pet Care Plus for almost 6 years on and off for grooming since our boy dog was a puppy (and we lived in Fulton market area). We ended up moving to Wrigley, tried another groomer. didn't really like them, but we didn't have a car so coming back wasn't an option. If you've been to a few groomers - you know they can sometimes be a bit. Weird?

About three years ago we rescued a girl dog who had been caged and used for breeding - she was picky with people she liked, had a lot of hair loss, and we were just nervous about sending her to the groomer we were going to. About the same time as we got her, we got a car and knew that we had to take them back to Pet Care Plus! So glad we did. They are worth the 45min-1 hour round trip we take each way to bring our dogs there.

We always knew they were in good hands and always felt good about this decision. We've loved every groomer we've had there so far, but in the past year or so we somehow naturally started to pair up with Gina. She's always nailed our dogs hair cuts (pics below)! Now for the most important part - a few months ago we had been having some health issues with our girl dog that we had been going to the vet multiple times for.

The vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her and we were kind of at a loss for what was wrong. When we took them in for grooming, Gina witnessed the issues we were having with the dog. She asked me about it - I told her what was going on and that the vets were stumped - she encouraged me nicely to keep seeking a solution because it wasn't good.

So we did. Turned out our dog had a specific form of bladder cancer called TCC. As soon as we found out we did everything we could to help her fight the cancer, and she was able to live 3 more months with us. It was devastating to lose our dog, but we can't help but feel so grateful for Gina's encouragement to keep seeking answers. Without her advice, I think our poor girl would have been in a lot of untreated pain.

The first time coming back for a groom without our girl dog was very bittersweet, and we talked to Gina to let her know what transpired/thanked her for her help. She spoke very fondly of both of our dogs, we could tell she cared for each of them individually and knew their personalities well, and it really did mean a lot. It feels good when you find people that really care and you can trust. That is what makes a place like this worth coming back to! We love you Pet Care Plus, thank you for caring about our dogs as much as we do!

They cancel my boarding appointment without notice or speaking with me. So unprofessional and no reliable at all. I call them multiple times due to missing vaccinations that my dog was missing. I explained to them that I had an appointment for his vaccines to be done before the boarding day. And they just cancel after they told me he was going to be okay to board with them.

We just starting coming here once a week and we like it. I like that they have an outdoor option but I wish there was more space overall. I do also appreciate the cameras to check in on my pup. The staff is friendly and professional and attentive. My one concern is that there really seems to be quite a number of dogs. I did not get to see the crates for nap time, and I'm sure they're fine, but I would imagine they're small to have to fit the number of dogs all napping at the same time.

There are 3 different play groups will what looks like an average of 20 dogs or so a group. There seems to be enough staff to manage it all, but again, I wish the play areas were bigger.

My lil boy loves his Groomer, I can honestly say that this is a 1st for me. Until indifferences are noticed we'll continue w/ Pet Care Plus.

Truly the best day care facility ever. Carmen is AMAAAAZING! I hope PCP knows what a gem she is. I've never seen my pup Oliver connect with another person like he has with her. She is incredibly kind and truly cares about the doggos. I've had just wonderful experiences with all the other staff too. Grooming services have been great as well. The fact that they have web cams so we can check on Ollie is just awesome. I've never utilized the boarding but the pricing is great and they offer a lot of options. Would recommend PCP 100000x over!

We love PCP for grooming and wish they were closer! This is the best price I've found for a groomer and I trust the staff with my pup. I love that the groomer comes out to say hi and talk to me before a cut. We love Miriam in particular and she's the only groomer my shy dog has ever been excited to see.

Pet Care Plus has been a real boon for us as first-time dog owners. The staff seem to genuinely love working with animals and our dog is always thrilled to head to daycare. She even enjoys grooming appointments, which is in stark contrast to her at-home baths. The service is amazing and we would recommend this option to anyone with pets.

Pet Care Plus was great! Drop off and pickup was easy, even when before or after hours. When your dog is excited to be dropped off when you pull down the street, you know they are having a great experience. She even would be super excited when we passed staff walking on the street, which makes a dog owner feel like their pet is being taken care of.

This was our pup's first true cut and Kelly followed my go-by pics beautifully. My Whoodle looks more like a Wheaten, less like a poodle--just the way I requested. We'll be back in 4-6 weeks! Thanks for making his first experience so positive.

Been here a few times for my two pups. It's a little pricey but they do a great job. They will get their best to dematt before shaving which is nice.

Our 5 month old cavapoo CJ had his first ever grooming today with Summer. The entire staff was friendly and professional and our pup seemed very comfortable with them upon picking him up! Summer did an incredible job with the grooming and bath, giving him a very nice teddy bear look. We will definitely be back, highly recommend Pet Care Plus!

Great place! Reasonably priced for a good grooming. Staff is friendly and they sent a follow up email to ensure I was pleased with my service. The groomer on staff was so kind to me and loved on my pup which made me feel better about leaving her behind. I will definitely be using them for training and daycare service in the future

Pet Care Plus is the epitome of love and attention for your pup. They are responsive, communicative and committed to customer service. Our glorious golden doodle was matted and in need of some grooming and pampering after a month of transition from one city to another. The quote they provided was precise, the work they did beautiful. His coat is short and silky for the summer and can now grow back into full curly style by winter. We could not be happier with this entire experience and look forward to daycare, boarding and more spa time for our boy. Thank you, PCP.

They are the absolute best! The facility is nice and clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and takes such great care of my fur baby! Each dog has to pass an assessment day which makes me feel comfortable about the safety of my dog. You can watch each play area live, so you can see exactly what is going on! You can tell they care about each dog and the cleanings of the facility. 11/10 for sure!

After a bad experience with a previous groomer, I have been skeptical with who I trust to groom my Coco. Pet Care Plus beyond exceeded my expectations and made Coco and I feel very welcomed and in good hands. Very clean facility with extremely friendly staff and Coco came out looking amazing and was happy.

This place is GREAT! I was looking for a new groomer. I moved to Chicago less than 2 years ago and have tried many different places since moving here. Nola has come home with cuts, nicks, irritated skin, sore paws, and even what looked like a bruise. She's always terrified when I pick her up. I decided to try Pet Care Plus and am so happy that I did. Nola is happy, not at all anxious, and looks beautiful. Gina really knows what she's doing. Thank you, thank you, many times THANK YOU!

Took my Toy Pomeranian here today for a wash and cut. We dropped my dog off at 12:30 and stopped by at 2:30 to check on his status. He still wasn't done. We were told he wouldn't be ready until 4:00. if you ask me, that's a long time to wait. However. his cut was really good so I would definitely be back! You could tell the groomer really took her time. I was also sent an email during his appointment with pictures to know that he was ok, I thought that was a nice touch.

These two love to be home but their second favorite place is at Pet Care Plus where the staff know all their favorite friends and make sure to keep these two busy and the happiest. Luna and Emmi rush to the door to get into daycare - for the lazy white one its the most excited I see her that doesn't involve a treat or a meal: Thank you PCP we love knowing our pups are loved and cared for, your staff is wonderful and clearly our dogs don't miss us at all when they are busy playing at PCP! I have been a regular customer for both boarding and daycare since 2016.
