Cal Pet Crematory

I've used Cal Pet twice and referred all my friends, they are the most caring loving sympathetic people on the planet.! Love them!

Cal pets definitely help through a hard time. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again. A little bit out-of-the-way but definitely worth it thank you guys

Awful place. I was trying to understand the cremation process and the young lady rep became upset because I didn't understand how she was explaining it to me. She than hung up on me. It's upsetting enough to lose your pet but more so when this crematory shows such lack of empathy. Please don't do business here. I was referred also to West coast pet memorial and At Garden's Edge, Pet Cremations so I will be calling them.

After my dog passed away, TLC veterinary Hospital in South Pasadena referred me to Cal Pet for Pet Cremations. Cal Pet got in touch with me and I selected my package. My pet's ashes were personally delivered to my home and I was very impressed with the packaging and the enclosed sympathy card. Even though this was a difficult time for our family, it was very comforting to see how Cal Pet took the time to be so detailed. Thank you Cal Pet!

They run a good shop there. Everything is clean and orderly and you can tell there is no chance of anything getting mixed up which is a common fear people have. They were kind and gave us tons of time even though Im sure they had other appointments and clients. People are nice too. They see this all day, but still take the time to be sincere.

Although I had to let go of my beautiful cat, and receiving the phone call from Cal Pet, was not a fun or easy one, their professionalism and sensitivity helped as much as it could. I appreciate the prompt call and delivery of my Mr Bella's ashes and paw print. The delivery person was gentle and kind, and the box he arrived in was beautiful. Thank you for taking such care.

Unfortunately this is the 2nd time in two years that I've needed to use the services of CalPet. Fortunately, they provided the same high level of service that they've given me in the past (this is my 5th dog in 24 years who has been at CalPet!). My beloved 13 year old beagle was euthanized at an animal hospital, and CalPet handled the pickup, cremation and delivery. CalPet contacted me for my engraving request.

My girl's remains were just delivered to my home today. All interactions with CalPet were respectful and compassionate and the urn and nameplate were prepared well, as well as the paw print and the packaging; tasteful and classic. Thank you for the respectful interactions.

Anyone who has lost a pet knows the complete sorrow and sadness to say goodbye. CalPet was absolutely wonderful in handling our Cocker Spaniel. They are respectful when they came to our veterinarian to pick him up, they kept us posted on what was happening with him and our ashes were delivered back to the veterinarian with great sensitivity. I was so grateful to them because I was so devastated I couldn't even think straight. They did everything. I highly recommend them to anyone who has lost their pet and wants the same love given to them after death as you gave to them in life.

Our family came here for the first time in 2012 and unfortunately, we had to go back again this year 2022 because of our another furbaby's passing. I remember from last experience that they were very caring and kind, and they didn't rush us when we were saying good bye to our baby before cremation even though we took quite some time to let her go.

This time, we dropped off our baby and went back for cremation service which was scheduled 3 days after. The staff who first took our baby to care for a few days before cremation was very caring and sympathetic. He was very gentle when we were handing our baby to him and showed his condolences. Although we couldn't witness cremation directly like 2012, we were able to have a private viewing before the cremation to see and touch our baby, and say our good byes for the last time which made me feel like I wasn't missing anything from the last experience. Cremation process was faster than we've expected.

We chose lotus urn and brought our baby home the same day. They also provide clay paw prints with a very reasonable price which I highly recommend getting. Cremation itself is at a very reasonable price as well. Great service and great staffs. We can't thank them enough for being there when we are going through our toughest and the most difficult time of our lives.

Was extremely satisfied with their services very dignified, no pressure to buy more items or services, they bundled Bear dog up in a very respectable container with a nice card, I purchased the little paw print casting for ten dollars and it's worth every penny I recommend it highly, after doing some more crying for my little guy I hung it on the wall it'll help me move on, went to the shelter and I'm adopting another little guy who needs a home. From the very beginning it was a nice Experience considering the sensitive heartbreaking situation that no fur Mama wants to do. Great communication and they were incredibly kind when we first called and when we arrived. They answered all our questions and were very sympathetic. This was our first time doing this. We had no where Togo to cremate our little guy in the time frame we needed.

We called everyone in the LA Area and nobody could accommodate us last minute as we were driving from out of town. The cremation took two half hours as we put it on a Rush. There pricing is very reasonable. Everyone else in LA are outrageous. I'm so thankful we found Cal Pet in the time frame that seemed almost impossible. Thank you for letting us put Chubba to rest.

My 9 year old son's 1st pet hamster Cookie passed away and he wanted her with us forever. Bringing Cookie to the Cal Pet location was extremely emotional and such a sad day, but "Nick" was kind and compassionate and made my son feel comfortable handing over his hamster to him. That kind of care made the whole experience a little better to endure. Once we picked up Cookie to bring her home and I opened our care box there was a sweet note to say they were sorry for our loss and I literally bursted into tears in my kitchen. Thank you so much! Everyone I interacted with was so kind. Handing over Mr. Cat was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but the person who received him was so kind and supportive. His remains were packaged beautifully and the entire process was very reasonably priced. I keep telling my friends that I hope they don't need this service, but if/when they do they should use Cal Pet.

Staff members were very professional, attentive, and responsive. Losing my sweet dog, Gigi, was devastating. Cal Pet took excellent care of us, and quickly provided us with her ashes and a paw print.

It was so hard losing my pet. All interactions with CalPet were professional and met with sympathy. If you go to their facility, despite being in an industrial area, is very peaceful with benches and a small garden. I wanted to buy a box for my dogs ashes but afraid to purchase from a website bc I wanted to make sure it was nice. All the options of their boxes were classy and well made. Have confidence picking a style from their website knowing it's quality. RIP my sweet chili pepper dog.

Losing my pet was very difficult! I loved the extra care Jack was given all the way to how the driver extended his condolences while delivering my Boy to me. Thanks for the great keepsake and service!

Considering the a crematory is in the business with people who are dealing with loss, I would expect a higher degree of professionalism and sensitivity. When my dog passed, the vet told me that I may not hear from cal pet till the next week which wasn't a problem, it is what it is. The problem is that they call without leaving a voicemail as standard and have poor communication.

The first time they called, I missed a call from an unknown sender. No voicemail or message. A day later, I received a text at 2:30pm to give a call to set arrangements. So I called several times to ensure to spoke with someone before they closed for the day (4pm on Saturdays). 10 days later I follow up when to expect to receive my dog's remains.

No one answered so I leave a voicemail. Someone called an hour later but again left no voicemail or message so I call back and was told my home delivery could be scheduled the next day. When the man arrived, I heard him knock on my neighbor's for before coming to mine even though the apartment number was clearly labeled on my door and the box. Why wouldn't your staff leave a voicemail? My dogs remains are not trivial!

I have worked in various Animal hospitals throughout the years and Cal Pet has always been there for us, our clients and their precious pets when the time came to have them cremated. This week it was my cat that suddenly passed. Our family is devastated and heartbroken. Cal Pet was there for us and treated our precious boy, Sweet pea with respect and retuned his ashes in a beautiful urn. The urn is white and soft just like he was. I chose to drop him off and pick up but they do have a pick up and delivery service. Thank you again for doing what you do.

It took my family 30 years to actually open our "collection" and realize how beautiful the urns are. Cal Pet is still an excellent location to take your furbabies after their passing. The staff is friendly and sympathetic considering the difficult sibject.

For the second time, I've entrusted the aftercare of a precious little buddy to this fine company. On the phone and in person, the staff are understanding and respectful. They answer all one's questions and keep their promises. And their charges are reasonable. I find it very comforting to keep some physical presence of my darlings after they have passed. If you feel the same, trust these folks to take good care of you and your pet.

Today was the viewing of our beloved cat Polo at cal pet crematory. We went through the gates and right away the stench was unbearable. They had left our pet outside for probably since they picked his body from the vet last week. Although they denied but Maggots were coming out his nose and eyes and that doesn't happen overnight. Flies were over his blanket. Horrible experience and so disappointing that we trusted our baby at this place The horrifying pictures will never leave our thoughts. Please make sure you know where you leave your loved one.

This place is fantastic. Although a little hard to find, totally worth it. The staff is very sweet and passionate. They talk with you, give you time with your pet. They explain everything to you and they give you a hand full of options for your beloved pet. 4th of July fireworks gave my sweet kitty a heart attack and they took her in right away and she was back in my arms 3 days later.

We were blessed to have Autumn for over 21years. Her passing was completely devastating to us. Allison at Cal Pet was great in helping expedite Autumn back home to her family. She was a comforting voice at a very difficult time. Thank you to everyone involved who helped. And a big thank you to the gentleman who delivered her remains directly to us. Words can't express how grateful we are.

They were so nice. Bruce came out to the car and got Donut. He said he would treat him like his own! They gave condolences for our loss. They give you a complementary container and box. Today is Monday, and I dropped Donut off around 5. He will be ready for pick up on Wednesday. Other places charge a lot more and you have to buy an urn from them which is extra!

Your thoughtful way of connecting with us by phone, text and in person delivery was most appreciated. The box, paw print, poem and certificate were all very well done and made me feel that our dear Bree was well cared for to the very last. Now I can grieve and remember her in the best way possible. 12-19-20: Losing a pet is never easy.they become family. Back in July 2007 when my mom started getting sick, we had found Butch. He was only 3 mos old. I helped get him adopted so Mom could finally have the pug she always wanted. He was such a happy lil knucklehead and made us happy even when things got tough. We knew once Butch hit 10 years old it would be a matter of time.during his life, we lived through 3 of our other dogs passing - along with Mom passing.

The morning of 12-19-20 at almost 14yo, Dad and I found Butch had passed in his sleep peacefully. Thanks to Cal Pet for always being supportive during this process and allowing us to be able to bring Butch home in time for XMAS this year.

Place is horrible really dont come here the area looks horrible and no peace and quiet sometimes
