U-Wash Doggie

1st time here to wash my 2 dogs, and I loved it. Very convenient and fast. Owner was super cool and friendly. Helped me a lot. Will definitely return. No more home baths

I take my Frenchie to get bathed every two weeks and have had nothing but excellent service! They take the extra time to clean his wrinkles and put his nose bomb on. I highly recommend them to all pet owners!

The whole experience was awful, and as time goes by I get more upset thinking about the experience and wish I could leave ZERO stars. My poor dog has a big open wound on his skin from where they CUT him, and 2 of his nails are trimmed too short where he was clearly bleeding. The appointment also should not have taken so many hours! The owner told me they weren't too busy so it shouldn't take long.

When I returned after a little over an hour, I was told it would be 15 minutes more - and he said it in a rude tone! I waited in my car and still hadn't received a call or text after another 45 MINUTES, so I went in again and in an even more rude tone told me they would reach out to me when my dog is ready to be picked up. So, why lie and say 15 minutes and have me waiting around just to send me away again?

I finally got a call another 40 minutes later. What I think happened and is no one started grooming my dog until I came in and asked how much longer it would be. So in that time I was waiting "15 minutes" they were rushing, and ended up hurting my poor baby. I'm also upset because he was still shedding just as much when I picked him up so they didn't take their time really brushing his coat. I'm furious and will NEVER come back here. It's over priced, they are not gentle with your animal, they take way too long and they give you attitude instead of respecting your time and respecting you as a customer.

How do you take over 3 hours and do such a horrible job? What's the point of setting up and appointment just so you can keep my dog locked up in the back for hours until your ready? Clearly the whole staff is miserable, and I don't blame them because the owner was a big JERK himself. WORST SERVICE EVER. RUDE OWNER! It almost seems like this place doesn't really care about or like people's dogs, I normally take him to petsmart and its much cheaper, faster, better service, and my pup is actually cleaned/groomed, smells good, isn't shedding and even has a cute little bandana on. GO TO PETSMART

Terrible service they offer something that I don't think is professional, I paid for a service for my pet which, just as I took it when I returned, they left it just as I took it without having done anything to it

I love this place! I do the self wash here and even though I only pay for self wash the owners and EVERYONE here is extremely helpful! Andres (the owner) is always giving helpful tips and tricks to clean my dog throughly. I will definitely continue to bring my dog here.

Great experience for the first time. Never thought of going there before but our regular groomer was booked too far out to wait. Took our standard poodle there for full service grooming. Great lamb cut with clean feet and clean face and top knot done right. Thank you U-Wash Doggie next to Tags.

Quick and easy. Clean. Nice owner. All you want for this kind of place. Been taking my 2 Huskies here for years. In and out in about 30min. My wife and I split up and take one dog each. Best part is that you don't have to then worry about cleaning up like you would if you did it at home. Are you being asked to get the dog washed? Do you want something fast and way cheaper than a groomer? Then you found your solution. Only catch is that you are doing it yourself. Easy though as they have all you need there for you.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appt for my two dogs for grooming services. I walked in and the bald gentleman was checking me in. He wanted to check the fur on my small dog and I just said, "oh, just be careful because he might try and bite; he's really scared". He quickly gets up and says, "I'm not taking him then. I'm not going to waste my time with a dog like that. I'll take your other dog, but not him." Excuse me? You're refusing my dog just like that?

What makes you think I'll leave my other dog with you after seeing your reaction? I wouldn't trust someone with a temper like that to handle my pet. I've never ever experienced this at any other grooming service. Out of respect I let the other person know how my dog may react. this does not mean that you refuse services over it. I drove all the way there to be refused a minute later. Horrible!

Great place to bring your pup for a bath and trim. You can also do it yourself there they have everything available for you. We've taken both our dogs there for bath and grooming and we're very pleased. Paid more than I have paid at PetSmart but was overall very happy with the service.

I love this place because whenever I take my dog she is very happy she knows the people that work there so she's happy

So not sure if both locations charge different prices but we just paid $90 for my small 10lb. terrier mix at the Soledad location?! I've used both locations before and within this year and never paid over $65. A friend had their dog (same size and breed) groomed at the Newhall- Lyons location this last week and paid $72. I know it depends on the cut, size of dog, long hair, short hair etc. but this totally blew me away. I'm all about supporting our local businesses but this was a little to steep for my budget, plus the cut was way too short. Yikes!

I just love the people at U Wash Doggie on Soledad. Everyone is so nice with my two little dogs.

$82 dollars for a grooming for my 10 pound dog and they told me it would go up in price if he moved too much. He is a dog! What do you expect. They left him completely bald in the face when he didn't have any knots on the face. I've had a Maltese for the same size for 13 years and I've never paid this much for grooming like ever! I wouldn't of mine so much the price if they would of done a better job but his body had no knots only his neck and they still decided to shave him bare all over. Very disappointed and completely overpriced. I asked why they charged more on this location than the other and he said we just do charge more here.

They currently close at 4pm, not at 5pm like their website says. Hopefully I can save someone from driving all the way across town only to find the business locked like I just encountered.

Great place to get down and dirty with your dog. Stainless steel tubes with a walk up ramp and plenty of warm water pressure made for a thorough wash. The owner recommended a rinse to help with my basset's shedding and it worked great. I highly recommend!

Fantastic groomers! I didn't realize they offered full service grooming so This was my first visit and absolutely LOVED everything about the experience! I took my Malti-poo in for a summer cut and it turned out great! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I called friends on my way home to recommend this place. I have already made an appointment for another dog next week!

The crew at U-Wash Doggie are great! I have taken my dogs for summer cuts, full grooming, and also to wash them myself. They are always prompt getting the dogs in and out, and their prices are reasonable. I have Aussies that develop thick under coats that require a lot of work to control. U-wash Doggie gets the undercoat thinned out and the dogs come out shiny and fluffy! I can recommend them with confidence that they will do a good job!

I brought in the newest member of our family - a 3 1/2 yo Husky/Samoyed rescue. He was stinky and matted across his belly and down his back legs. I said "do NOT shave him". I was told they would bathe him and give him a surface brush. When I picked him up, he was a gorgeous, sweet smelling cloud of a dog. I cannot say enough about my experience. He is mat free and so happy! Brilliant job. We'll be back every couple months!

The high reviews are accurate for U-Wash Doggy. Not only have they been consistent with taking care of my dogs for years, they also listen to your requests on specifics if need be. What I love is that you can almost make an appointment the day you call and they seem to be flexible when they can. Everyone there has been very nice and caring and they have great groomers, trust me, I have show dogs. LOL Lastly, their "Do It Yourself" washing tubs are upgraded and very easy to wash your animal.

I love this place for many reasons. - they can usually groom Sophie without much advance notice. - they always groom her just the way we like, never too short or too long. - place is super clean and friendly - and they are quick, no putting my dog in a kennel for hours unnecessarily - sometimes she just needs her nails cut and within 5 minutes we are in and out of there so super efficient. Thank you U Wash Doggie.

Sadly I have to give this place 1 star. I arrived home after picking my dogs up and noticed blood all over my house. We came to conclusion it was my dogs foot! U-wash Doggie cut my dogs nails so short that he was gushing blood all over. To make matters worse, it wasn't just one nail. It was four on the same foot! The poor guy is in so much pain and depressed now.

Our throw rug at home is now ruined and my clothes are ruined. Now I understand accidents happen but they didn't even tell me about this and four nails being cut short to where the dog is gushing blood? This is very very shady. I hate leaving negative reviews but others need to know about this. This could be you

The place is great! First time visit was the day before this post. My wife just got a rescue penkingese and the poor girl stank, so we gave her a quick self serve bath, they offered great amenities! Today we got her a trim, professional bath, full grooming and they sent her with us with some accessories! Yukiko couldn't be prouder of her clean, new look. They did a fantastic job!

This place is awesome. Maricela and Andre were both really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. This was Silverado's first bath. He's a rescue.
