Services
Quaintly located in Lake Elsinore, Mountainview Small Animal Hospital is surrounded by mountains (as the hospital's name suggests) and a beautiful lake. Volunteers constructed the building in the late 1950s to serve as a community center for the American Legion and VFW. To this day, the 1959 dedication plaque still shines proudly on the front corner of the building.
Acupuncture -Set up a consult with Dr. Tran to learn if this traditional Chinese therapy is right for your pet, or call us for more information. Allergy testing and dermatology -Dogs and cats, like their owners, can experience a variety of allergies. Allergens in their food or in their environment are responsible for more than 30% of the skin irritations that pets experience.
Hundreds of skin diseases affect our animal companions, making diagnosis and management both frustrating and challenging. Allergies-Allergies in your dog or cat can cause increased itching and scratching, making them very uncomfortable. Many times there are concurrent ear and skin infections, further increasing their discomfort.

Mountain view animal hospital is the place to be for your pet! Been coming here for my baby and her needs, helping her get rid of pesky fleas, acupuncture for her arthritis pain, and wellness checks. Dr. Tran and her staff are absolutely amazing and give amazing specialty advice! As a bonus, my cat usually cries for help along the way to the vet, now that I come here she just sits and enjoys the ride. For sure will continue to come and highly recommend, small kitty approved!

I've been bringing my fur babies here for over five years! Dr. Tran is amazing, she is genuine and Empathetic. Dr. Hempel is also great, he and Dr. Tran recently saved our family's new puppy's life. He's a 7 month Labrador retriever and ate a "Indestructible" foot long yes a foot long if not a little longer Kong toy. Dr. Tran and Dr Hempel we're so thorough and professional they made sure they got every piece of that toy that they reconstructed it to ensure no piece was left in our baby.
This is only one out of countless visit to their hospital. The staff is great just had one bad Encounter with a front clerk just know if you happen to run into that situation with that individual just ask for Noel she's the greatest and don't allow that one bad seed to create weeds around such a beautiful hospital with two great Doctors especially Dr. Tran.

We've taken several of our cats here and every time we are extremely satisfied. This office is the epitome of a good veterinary clinic from head to toe (or paw). To start, the front office staff are always delightful. They are friendly, helpful & very welcoming. On two different occasions one of the staff called out to the fully packed waiting room, "Does anybody want any coffee? Tea?" as she was making a new pot of coffee - and upon finishing, personally asked everyone who spoke up how they like it & then proceeded to add cream and sugar as was desired.
It was like we were their guests in their home! & although I am not much of a coffee drinker, I was immensely pleased at their humble hospitality between all that come in there. That being said, it doesn't hurt that their services are professional, thorough & fairly priced! Not only "fairly", but it's honestly the cheapest I've seen throughout Temecula all the way to a Lake Elsinore. (To be seen is only about $50) Other pluses: They have their own pharmacy so you don't need to go elsewhere for most of the new medicines getting prescribed They follow up with you a day or two after the visit to make sure everything is going okay and your animal is feeling better They remember your pet's name(s) if you go there regularly Apparently they have a new online option (however I have not used so can't give insight on how well it works) They have a nice waiting room with a big TV so the guests that are waiting aren't forced to stare at the wall Very clean office & medical rooms (cleaning up hair and everything else animals might leave on floors and counters constantly) Waiting time never too extended Cons: If I have to choose one thing, it would be awesome to have wifi in the waiting room THANKS GUYS! & Daisy, Lily, Kitty & Squeaker also thank you!
