I tried to use this dog grooming shop by calling them. When no one answered the phone I drove over there. An employee came out of the shop on a phone call, so I waited off to the side. After five minutes of her talking on the phone (while smoking) she never acknowledged me so I left and will find somebody else for my dog grooming needs. Too bad, the location is great.

Very disappointed with the last stripping, wish we hadn't paid. Maggie was returned to us with multiple bald areas. Was told because her cost was "blown" (means grown out) her fur had to be pulled much harder. I don't believe that is true as a blown coat is much easier to strip. Some of the areas are regrowing fur but some aren't - large area at the base of her tail, a few on her chest and a large one on her hind upper leg are still bald. We won't bring Maggie back here.

We've been taking our fur baby to Grubby Dogs for about 2 years now. We are SO pleased with the quality of their grooming and their outstanding customer service, as well as the affordability of their services. Our little guy has had both of his eyes removed, so he is especially skittish around loud noises and has always hated having his nails trimmed.
The Grubby Dog staff is always there to reassure us that they'll take good care of him, (and they do!). They even tell us how well he did, although I think they're just being sweet for our sake. Like so many other families, our fur baby is special to us, so it's truly reassuring to have a doggo that isn't afraid to go to get groomed! Snarf gives them TWO paws up!

Furever client! Amy did what no other groomer could do! Groom my 12 week old headstrong puppy with a perfect schnauzer cut! I am so happy. Can't wait to book with her for many more years! Thank you Amy! Prices are extremely fair and they are so nice and gentle to your furbabies. He LOVED his grooming session and came out happy and handsome as ever.

I searched for 3 years in Murrieta/Temecula for a dog groomer. I stumbled upon Grubby Dogs last year, and I stopped looking! This place cares for the animals and cares for the people that love them. The groomers are top notch and the customer service is without equal. I suspect the fact that the owner of Grubby Dogs is a retired US Marine has a lot to do with their outstanding service, ACROSS THE BOARD! You won't go wrong here. Semper Fi

Honestly the best place you can possibly take your dog. Not only do they care about every animal that comes in but also have reasonable prices. The owner is also amazing. My sister takes her sensitive senior dog here and I take my very temperamental dog here because they're the only people that we can genuinely trust. And to the girls who where wondering what he looked like as a puppy this is him at 10 weeks

Had our two dogs, Bilbo & Chloe groomed. They got a bath, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, anal glands expressed and teeth cleaned. Neither of our dogs require haircuts. The pups were very hesitant to step foot in the door, but the staff were great with welcoming them in a getting them to relax a little. They handled the dogs very well. They quoted approximately an hour and half and were right on time with their quote.
When I picked them up I've never seen such good looking dogs! They felt so nice and soft and smelled delicious. Their breath was greatly improved, so I think they did a great job with the teeth brushing. I will absolutely bring them back next time they need cleaning up. Thanks grubby dogs!

I am so happy to have found Amy at Grubby Dogs! I had been taking my pup to another groomer down the street for a couple of years, but I ended up having a bad experience the last time and decided it was time to branch out and find a new groomer. Anyone that has a dog that need frequent grooming knows how important it is to find a groomer that you can trust and that will get to know you and your pup.
I took a chance and scheduled an appointment at Grubby Dogs and lucked out being assigned to Amy for our first appointment. I could not have asked for a better experience, honestly. My dog is a Papillion/Jack Russell mix about 15 pounds when chunky and she has soft flowy hair that grows very quickly, especially in the warmer months which is all year long here in Southern California.
I am not overly particular about how her hair is cut, but I do like to get it pretty short, just above shaved for the most part, but to keep some length on her tail and behind her ears to keep her more Papillion traits. My biggest concern when taking my dog to a new groomer is her nails. She will not let me trim her nails and throws an angry fit everytime I try to.
So needless to say, I am always afraid that she will act the same way when a groomer tries to do her nails. I always make sure the groomer knows that they can muzzle her if they ever need to from the beginning, it is incredibly anxiety inducing for me. Luckily I have never had a groomer tell me that she gives them trouble doing her nails! And they Dremel nails so you don't end up with super sharp edges in the end. Amy made a point to meet with me at each drop off to go through exactly what I was looking for and any questions I had were confidently answered.
My dog seems to love Amy. Even when she was nervous entering the shop for her second appointment, she immediately started wagging her tail when she saw Amy and cheered up thoroughly. Everytime I have picked her up she is happy as can be and not at all upset or anxious. I HIGHLY recommend Amy and Grubby Dogs as a whole, as each person has been amazing to interact with from the receptionist to any of the groomers.

The ladies took great care of my little pit bull hyper lady. She not only came out clean, but smelling so pretty and had a soft coat that lasted almost a week. She is still wearing the pretty neckerchief she got a week later. My girl has a funky curved toe from a break from when she was little, and the ladies trimmed it well.

I took my mini schnauzer for his first haircut. When I picked him up, he was brought out quickly and I paid and left with him. On the way home, I was looking him over and noticed a slice in the top of his neck and a slice on his head where it appears the groomer may have not had the clipper guard on and may have cut the entire hair off his body on those two spots.
No damage to his skin just literally hairless on those 2 spots. I also noticed he came back shaking his head and scratching his ears. Not sure if water or hair got into them. I blow dried his ears, so hopefully by tomorrow he stops shaking his head and scratching at his ears.
